  1. But Hurts is a much, much better passer than AR. Look, if you can get the kid in the 3rd ... awesome. Using your first round pick on someone who is a massive project is insane. And where does this "most athletically gifted" BS come from? How can thay even be judged? The old eyeball test?
  2. Serious time: Other than those flashy highlight reels from YT ... just what is it about AR that is blinding some of you? He has barely played two full seasons of college ball. Where does this potential everyone hypes up come from? So much so, you claim he has the most potential out of any QB in the Draft (huge lol btw). Is he tall? Sure ... but not the tallest. Does he have the size? Sure ... but so do others. Does he have a good arm? Yep ... but so do others. Can he run it? Yep. Cool. So ... just what are you AR fans going off of? I really, really want to know.
  3. We had an elite RB and traded him and are left with servicable scraps. Why would we pay big bucks to go back to elite?
  4. If he's not a starter that's a bust in my eyes. Backups are worthless. No wiggle room. I'll gladly leave if he has success in the NFL. I think he's the next Zach Wilson.
  5. I'd probably stop posting ... unless it's to gloat. So fingers crossed for us both lol.
  6. Ok, he won't be a starter. He may START a game, sure. But it's not his destiny. Is that more clear than "bust"? I don't think he's going to be a star. Simple as that. Others think he's the next multi-year MVP who will win trophy after trophy ... and that's their right to think that.
  7. I just don't want us wasting our pick on him. It's not like you and the 49ers. I'm not at that level with the kid.
  8. Not a lifelong starter. Not the Next Big Thing people here think he will be. If he even makes it in the NFL, he'll be a backup.
  9. I'll put my account on the line (and honor it by not making an alt) ... AR will be a bust in the NFL. So if one of you wants to Quote this and save it to memory, please do. Taking him at 9 will be the dumbest thing this franchise has ever done.
  10. Respect to your experience and skills, dude ... but, someone has to say it. Surely Mrs. Capers does weekly?
  11. Horrible winter here in NYC. No snow at all. Damn you, climate change. Winter is my favorite season too. I feel like I'm back in Charlotte. Ugh.
  12. Oh neat, one of THESE threads!
  13. Hooker is less talented than AR? Based off of what? Stats? No. Hooker destroys AR in that. Height? No. Weight ... uh I guess? Potential ... that thing no one can gauge? Competition? Both played in the SEC.
  14. While not usually a fan of dual threat QBs, I'd take Hooker over Richardson every single time.
  15. Then the kids play Lil Uzi Vert and the dad leaves the room.
  16. It's all about the energy in the room, the emotion at the time, the here and now, etc. NO retread coaches they say ... then scream with glee over Reich and Caldwell, etc. NO retread QBs they say ... then drool on the pillow for Carr. As soon as Reich hits a rough patch it'll be back to scouting the next coordinator. As soon as Carr throws a 2 INT game it'll be back to Draft watch 24. It's the way of the world. Just let it flow through you like water and pay no mind.
  17. We competed with the GOAT in Brady, could beat MVP Matty Ice, could beat MVP slippery as an eel Brees, etc. Some of you are scared of fragile Lamar???
  18. I just used the Gif menu thing. Cap Ron was under "escape". I forget what I searched for with the glue one. Maybe "drugs".
  19. Again ... why aren't more of you guys ignoring CamWhoaaCam? He's a troll.
  20. Lamar only played 12 games this season and 12 the year before that. Do the math.
