  1. All because their RB got hurt! This is wild.
  2. They did. That's how we knew it was Vince Young lol.
  3. ... and he's 6'3". Yeah, he'll be gone in the first.
  4. Vince Young with a grey beard. Wow. Time flies.
  5. Pretty sure Kraft had a winning record lol. And the Skins weren't always bottom feeders under Snyder. Him throwing a drink has zero to do with him not knowing how to run an NFL team. You ALL loved Cam's childish ripping down of a flag that wasn't his. It all has to do with your current emotions. None of you will even be talking about this incident next week.
  6. What's funny is that if we had a winning record right now you'd all be calling this awesome, saying it's not big deal, and saying the Jags fan probably deserved it. Sign off for a bit. Get some air. We're pretty much the only people left even talking about this. Move on.
  7. Bears are going to be fine. Fields isn't a bust. He's no superstar, but add Marvin Harrison Jr, get a better RB in FA, and draft oline they'll make the Playoffs.
  8. I think instead of banging my head against my desk over why Bryce Backers are still being stubborn about the kid, I'll just let it go now. Why? According to them, Bryce will play better with a stellar Oline, better WRs, and a better coach. Well that's not coming to Carolina. So they will always have an excuse for Bryce. It's pointless to argue with them.
  9. So what do you think proper punishment is for this? Seeing as how players have been simply suspended for much, much worse and often just a handful of games.
  10. Can some of you please stop clutching your damn pearls? Tepper will end up paying a fine. That's it. The man he threw water on is not going to sue ... because if he did, it will be more than obvious it's a money grab. He got hit by liquid. He'll be ok. Calling for Tepper to be suspended? Banned for a year? Lose the team? GET A GRIP. Tepper may be a complete tool, but take a step back and see what you're writing here. The article ESPN wrote about the incident will be gone by tomorrow, the talk shows and podcasts will move on to a new topic tomorrow. This is a nothing burger. We all know he's a dbag. He'll pay a fine and we'll be talking about the offseason in a week's time.
  11. And Robert Kraft is still with the Patriots. Tepper will get a huge fine though. Too bad Cam didn't do it, then it'd be a Huddle favorite like when he ripped down a fan's flag.
  12. Oh come on. He'll be fined. Liquid isn't an assault. Jesus, you guys. Tepp is a doofus, yes. He let his emotions get the best of him, yes. If a fan did that in the stands they'd be kicked out, yes. But no ... he's not going to LOSE HIS TEAM for throwing a cup of liquid lol.
  13. You know what's funny? If Bryce hadn't been a "#1 pick" NONE of this thread banter would even be taking place. It's bizarre. Just the label of being #1 puts every eye on you. So let's pretend we had drafted him at #12 or something. 99.9% of the Huddle would say he's crap.
  14. Forced to sell for that??? Uh ... you have heard of Dan Snyder right? Tepper has a loooooong way to go.
  15. The fact of the matter is that Bryce was on an elite college team with superstars all around him. That's why he was great at Alabama. Here, no ... he has zero superstars. But here's the thing, every single year Alabama gets a new crop of superstars. That doesn't happen in the NFL. So if Young needs a fantasy team in order to be elite here ... he's a bust. But if he can patch together steallr drives and big plays with mediocre talent ... he's a true NFL QB. And when true QBs get that golden span (usually 2-5 years) of better than avg players on their team? That's when they win it all. We've had that happen twice but lost of course. This current franchise is years and years from being a team good enough for a stud QB to lead, and right now we have zero proof Young is even a stud.
  16. I get that, but the majority of us think he's a bust. That's rare. Usually the debate is equally divided. But when this many of us think he's not going to make it, I think the tone of gameday threads is fine. If he'd shown an ounce of fight in every game, then yeah ... go away, trolls. But he really hasn't. And by fight, I mean the capability to overcome the odds he's be given. YES ... he has insane odds on his back. But he's shown next to nothing all season long. The "hate" is warranted. I don't see you defending Sanders, who was elite as fug in Philly. So why defend Bryce so strongly? Everyone is getting their fair share of "hate" on this team. Just because he's a rookie, a #1 pick, a former college superstar, and a nice guy shouldn't shield him from unhappy fans.
