  1. Then: SP leaves. Now: FO opens NFL For Dummies book. "Uh .... so like, what do we do?"
  2. Drafting a Tar Heel and a Wolf Pack (Wolf Packer?) ... classic J.R. Reid stuff right there, man. Thank god Ickey is all that and a bag of chips though.
  3. Sam, Cam, PJ, Willis, Corral, Strong, Glass, Zappe, JG, and Baker ... ain't it.
  4. Exactly. Without the media hype, no one here would be talking about him being a great kid, a solid leader, a possible god tier QB in the making if he has the right program, etc. Maybe like ... one poster here would be like: the Liberty QB has a good arm. That's it. That's all we'd know. He'd be in Zappe, Glass territory in terms of talk. You guys got bamboozled.
  5. Let me guess, you've also said Colin Powell was such a great speaker, lol. There are tons of nice kids in this Draft. Why is everyone shining the light of the lord himself on Willis?
  6. Stand firm and get best QB available in the 4th. They're a work in progress to begin with. Don't waste future picks on a WIP.
  7. So what you're saying is that Will Muschamp and Glenn Schumann will be in the NFL soon?
  8. Kelce: I don't want to throw any of my teammates under the bus. Kelce: We need a DB. Our DBs ain't it.
  9. Can some team draft Willis so people here stop talking about him please?
  10. He means using Twitter to get the pick and posting it here before it's on TV.
  11. Being in NYC is odd. My kiddo gets Monday off from school (Eid al-Fitr), as well as many Asian, Jewish, and African holidays. I bet it's a happy time over there right now though!
  12. Are ABC and ESPN the same telecast? Is it on any other channel other than NFLN?
  13. Pickett. Don't care for him. And I'm betting Cross will be on the board at that point!
  14. Can we just turn Twitter off for the evening? Problem solved.
  15. I think Nash is like a quasi coach. He's there, he knows what's what since he played, he calls some stuff here and there but he's not like a Phil Jackson type guy. Maybe he can be called a token coach.
  16. Also, Steve Nash has NO business being a coach.
  17. KD is not washed. Didn't say that. Dude is elite, but folds when given the big shot. Last year, playoffs, chance to win it ... brick. Multiple times this season ... shot needed ... brick. He has no killer instinct. We've ALL been spoiled by the likes of MJ and Kobe. They got it done. Killers. KD ... meh. Thanks for the 30 ppg and all but come on man ... can I see some fire? It's like he's high 24/7 out there. Kyrie is just as good as KD IMHO. He's a headcase though. From a flat world to not getting his COVID shot ... dude is one of a kind. KD missed 6 weeks this season, Harris played only 14 games, we got rid of The Beard for Simmons ... who didn't even play one minute, and Kyrie couldn't play home games until the very end. Messed up season for sure.
  18. Yeah, brutal. Just goes to show how chemistry can actually beat Super Teams (see: Lakers). Kyrie not playing half the time and KD being out for so long hurt just killed the Nets this year. Plus, KD is not clutch at ALL. Great player, elite. But they keep giving him the ball as time expires and he misses ... every time. I'd much rather them just have one star and the rest a solid squad of good players and I'm ok with that one star being Kyrie. KD can go choke somewhere else. That said, the Celts are going to the Finals.
  19. I'll watch up until our pick, then look online at the other picks ... as I always do. But oddly, since this is such an up in the air year, it's much more intruiging than years past.
  20. THIS THREAD IS NEW AND REFRESHING! Wait, no ... it's the same crap we've been reading for weeks.
  21. What do people want to get out of trashing Sam? Actually curious about that one.
