Not really. He hasn't been healthy since he's gotten to the league. If he can stay healthy though he is a beast. Right now I have heard Sam Franklin took all the first team reps at mini camp. He shows a lot of potential. Still wouldn't mind adding more of a ballhawk though.

Malik Hooker to the Cowboys

Anyone hear of any other safety's that could get cut???
-
I would sign a Safety after cuts or Hooker if he becomes cheaper, but other than that I am saving all of the money.

Jabrill Peppers, Quandre Diggs, Landon Collins are a few star studded names that could possibly get cut at Safety. Would love any of them if they do.

Y'all do realize its an entire new staff and new front office.... How was anyone supposed to know what we wanted and where we were leaning? This ain't Hurney anymore. Verge, we want your draft content next year no matter what, even if it's your own opinion. -

Panthers Cap Space (This Season) After Moton Deal
Jared Patterson replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can someone please explain Matt Paradis's contract? Is he on the team for 2022? Can someone please explain. I think we would be paying him to not be on the team? Would we likely extend him to play in 2022 if we are already paying him? If someone could explain that would be AMAZING! Thanks! -

Id decently still sign a safety, but that is it. Let the rest rollover, but I still don't understand why we haven't been looking at the safety position. It would not cost much. -

Thanks Verge, quick question: Do you think the Panthers end up signing another safety before/after camp? Also, who are some possible safety cuts? Ive heard a few rumors about Quandre Diggs, Landon Collins and Karl Joesph as possible cuts. Don't know if any of that will actually happen, but do you see us being interested in any safety's such as Malik Hooker or these possible cuts/others? -
Arms are too short to play LT. Rhule said this himself. I think he can be a pro bowl guard though. He's a stud.

Thanks! Wonder why we haven't signed a safety or even Fitts old pal Wright. -

So where are we at cap wise for this year??? Doesn't this lower Moton's cap hit??? -

We are set with Christensen and Moton at RT, RG or LG. Need to draft LT in round 1 next year and sign a Center/Guard and we will finally have a good Oline. I LOVE this signing. Moton is one of my favorite players and has an extremely high work ethic and is very smart. Great deal! -
What Was The Panthers Worst Move This Off Season/

Exactly old pals from college. Reminds be of Bersin and ol Jerry Richardson... -
I think linebacker will be fine if we add a safety... Im not worried about Perryman and Carter when it comes to rush defense, just coverage. If we add a above average FS we will have one of the best secondary's in the league and Perryman/Carter can focus on the run where they are fantastic. Also, Shaq is def an above average coverage LB.
