The safety's work in there too on 1v1's and outside of Chinn they look bad in coverage.
-
It's really bad. Teams are just going to put their best pass rusher opposite of Moton. Whether Moton is on the left or right, it doesn't really matter because the difference is massive.
-
Man oh man I watched the entire livestream and he was unguardable!
-
Lets just say I watched the entire live stream and Burns was lined up against whoever was LT (couldn't quite see for sure) while Moton (I could see) was definitely lined up at right and he got to the QB faster than running a straight line w no one blocking. Literally dipped right around the guy each and every time.

I believe Christenson ends up starting at one of the guard spots. -
Fit talking to "2 or 3 players" about extensions

Rhule LOVES Donte, especially his athleticism. They were talking to each other for about 20 minutes before practice today. Donte also fired up the DB group multiple times. Wouldn't be shocked if he is one of these at the right price. -
No. If anything we lose him to a head coaching job if Darnold is average.

The starting line group today was: LT: Cam Erving LG: Pat Elfein Center: Matt Paradis RG: John Miller RT: Taylor Moton -
Shi Smith

Oh I am not saying he wouldn't be our best LT. Just thought it was interesting. Definitely makes sense looking at the arm length. He seemed to just be a little confused on a few reps. With a full season practicing it would be fine. Ashamed we never got another tackle to go with him because Moton is ELITE on the right (82 compared to 74.5 on the left.) Hopefully he can adapt and be the same on the left if we indeed move him.
-
It's just weird that Moton has played RT his entire career and Christenson has played LT his entire career and we want to switch them. I guess arm length is that important in the NFL. Are Moton's arms that much longer? I remember the last time he played LT he looked really uncomfortable; however, he didn't have a full training camp or even many practices to prepare.

He has been working out with the team. That group workout they had he was there and fully participating. Also, my buddy that's a die hard LSU fan told me he is way better than Curtis Samuel all ready and basically every bit as good as Jefferson. I hope he is right! -

I just met Jaycee Horn in his AMG G Wagon this morning at breakfast in Southend.... The dude looks like an edge defender he's MASSIVE, but looks fast. I tell you one thing, he sure looks the part. -
Yea I definitely agree with you there. Unless a good fit at safety becomes available I don't want to make any moves. I am also pretty high on Sam Franklin, just see him more of a SS, but maybe that's why we are going to allow Chinn to play deep.

Got a feeling Fitterer's boy Quandre Diggs (FS) from Seattle may get released. He wants a new contract and they are already about to make Adams the highest paid safety in the league... Just a possibility.
-
Then don't do it. Also, I doubt a safety that gets cut is going to get a ton of money on a 1 year deal.
-
Agreed, but what if a FS that we liked became available? Wouldn't we just cut Burris and the money would offset?

Jaycee Horn has the most ridiculous coverage resume ever

It was Horns Sophomore season and Smith's Junior... -
Agreed. Wouldn't mind if one came available though, but that's the only position I would add if the right one came available.

I'll never forget chilling with Joe Charlton in my apartment here in South End, 2 months before the draft and before Horn really got everyones attention.... He told my friends and I that Horn was "BY FAR the best corner in the draft." At the time I was thinking it was Surtain, but he told me Horn was 10xs better and the best athlete he had ever seen...
