What scares me is if this mans tweet is true... Tepper is completely off quilter with the fan base. His response seems like he was shocked/confused about that guys sign. Like are these people not watching what we are? Who the heck looks at Pat Eiflein and Cam Erving tape and thinks that's their bookend 3 year long-term signed starting lineman.

Mr Scott - I am starting and or trying to warm up to Nathaniel Hackett because I think he has the most potential; however, why such the hype from you and others? You seem completely sold already. Didn't he get fired from the Jags; and how did he do in Buffalo? Also, I don't think he calls plays. Like I said I still like his resume, but I am not 110% sold yet. Thanks!

Just like the Butker thing though and Christenson not starting. Its just pure incompetence in evaluating.... he is still much better than Carter and we had him on a super cheap two year contract. We lose Carter next year and will have to pay someone more who will likely not be as good now.

What makes you all think Donte is going to get more money than Gilmore? He wanted to leave NE because of his contract. Gilmore is graded #1 right now on PFF at corner. Why would he take less of a contract than Donte? Also, we are basically back to square 1. I would think Gilmore, at his age would want to play for a win now team. I know Gilmore is much better and I would love/rather have him, but Donte may make more sense. Lastly, Donte may not want to come back either. We haven't exactly showed promise. I will be happy if we can extend one of these guys.

That is the best case scenario; however, I think Tepper is too impatient and if Rhule stays, then it's certain we will force the issue at QB?
