  1. I do agree in principle. But practically , one week is not going to change much. It's going to be the same playbook, same play caller, etc.. slight tweaks sure. I think what you're saying is PJ, the coaching change, etc.. will bring new energy and that energy will turn this into a winning team. I hope you're right, but the pragmatic side of me screams "not really". I'm on board though!
  2. I'm indifferent with Tepper. He made a mistake with Rhule and the whole training facility thing was an odd thing. But what does bug me about him is the lack of communication. Whether he accepts it or not, he's now a "city leader" of sorts. A Charlotte/NC/SC influencer. It'd just be nice if he'd make himself more accessible. Not saying a weekly meet-n-greet or anything even close, but just speak out occasionally. Give thoughts. Give directions. Give high level ideas and initiatives.
  3. This is a great idea. I wouldn't mind changing mine too since 'ole Mick has retired.
  4. Interesting feedback from CMC Source: https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/2440479/amp Excerpt: Still, Rhule believes he can beat the odds. “We have good players and I trust our players,” Rhule said. “I think we need to make more plays on offense. Our defense is playing well, our special teams is playing well and our offensive line is playing well.” Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey said players are “absolutely” behind Rhule. “Each player on this team, we have high accountability,” McCaffrey said. “The matter of fact is we haven't been good enough. I'm in the meetings, and I know what's being coached. Bad football is not being coached. When asked if he’s seen that accountability across the locker room, McCaffrey responded, “We’re getting it fixed.” McCaffrey, one of the team's captains, said it's up to the players to turn things around and change the losing mentality. “We have to make the plays when our numbers are called,” McCaffrey said. “And that's not happening right now. We have extreme urgency to get it done.”
  5. We do blame TEs. and qbs. and coaches. and ocs. McCaffrey is good.
  6. It's quite shocking to see his decline because he had a solid 2020 season which tells me he is (was) capable. Something is wrong.
  7. I'll kick off my response by saying, I'm glad you tee'd this up. It's a good goal to find the positives, but definitely ballsy on the Huddle. Thanks for not dropping the ball on it. /All punts are intended.
  8. I was also high on Baker, but I now agree with the consensus. Something is off/missing or he's not what I hoped he was. It's a pick your poison at this point: 1. Sam - more accurate, but will throw interceptions. However, when he's not throwing interceptions, he's moving the ball 2. Baker - no accuracy, but less interceptions. Ball tends to not move. I'm not even sure what is worse at this point! I guess I have to say Baker is the lesser of the two evils. However, if Baker tanks again, might as well just give Sam another roll. That is painful to even suggest.
  9. It's sad how small the sample size is (wins) to even look at.
  10. I'm not sure the ratio, but most visiting teams have an equal number of fans in the stands, so I'm not sure it would really matter that much. I did think about starting the paper bag on the head trend, but that would require me getting a ticket. I haven't actually ever purchased a panther game ticket before. Only been to one game because someone had a spare and invited me. I enjoyed it though, just no interest in buying one over the last few years.
  11. Hmm...I've met my low post/day ratio competition with @Jai.
