  1. One of the biggest differences I see in him now is the ability to move up into the pocket in the face of pressure and quickly process/see an "NFL open" receiver. He may have seen them before, but he was cautious to throw. Now he just let's it fly. Something just clicked or perhaps watching Andy take those shots encouraged him to go out there and rip. The best descriptor of where I'm at with him and the team is "encouraged" and that's a great feeling for a change.
  2. Very cool perspective, thanks for sharing. Aside, my family and I took our first international trip last year. Went to England and Scotland for two weeks. We have never been out of the states (I'm 47 btw). We came away changed in our perspective of the people here in the US. The people in the UK were so polite, genuine, and helpful and we weren't only in tourist areas. We were in the country quite a bit - I rented a car and drove a lot through all the isles of Scotland. Anyway, now we're considering relocating there (if able) one day. My oldest daughter, who is a junior at Clemson majoring in Vet Science, now wants to apply to Vet School in Edinburgh, Scotland (not to mention it's a FRACTION of the cost of US vet schools). When I asked others, they basically said that most people in Europe are like that and the US is just...different. There are tradeoffs living in Europe (roads, hospitals, prices, WALMART), but the people...amazing. All that to say, yes if you can get to an international game, go for it! I think I'll add it to my bucket list too!
  3. It’s a real gut punch to already be talking/planning next seasons draft already. Ugh.
  4. After reading that, I just forgot the AI.
  5. And now it would mean a lot to me. Thoughts and prayers man. I lost my Mom when she was only 57. My oldest daughter was 4 and my youngest was a baby. The hardest part was knowing they would never know my Mom who was the most wonderful person in the world.
  6. I don’t know if he reviews his instagram account, but the comments there are brutal. Plenty of Bryce bashing. I feel bad for the young man but at least he can walk away with a good amount of starting wealth. Hope he does something with it.
  7. And in this case we are fearing evil and there is no rod or staff to comfort us. The rod and staff are giving it to us raw.
  8. You are really good at summarizing @Icege. Wish you were around to help me in college lectures. Much thanks!
  9. Guess I'm the minority. Grew up in Charlotte-Metro. Watched the team since the beginning. They suck, sure, but I will watch the games. Shake my head. Enjoy my beer. I do tend to tune out if they are just getting dominated and you know that it isn't going to change from quarter to quarter (you can just tell sometimes). I guess I'm able to compartmentalize and watch Panther games as "entertainment" via a recorded youtubeTV instance - fast forwarding commercials, half time, saving a lot of personal time. I've never purchased any panther gear. I've only been to a couple games when my company gave us tickets or someone needed a wing mate and had an extra ticket. I guess you could say I've never been financially invested. When they suck, it doesn't ruin my day. I simply don't dwell on it. It's hard for me to relate with the true anger/frustration that some fans feel with their sports teams, but I can appreciate it.
  10. His ample chest is like two ripe cantaloupes ready to be motorboated into. You're welcome.
  11. I don’t know if everybody is expecting overnight results and success. The reset/rebuild clock seems to reset every year with the message of “be patient. It starts to get better now” but it just doesn’t. Then it resets again. We’re in an infinite loop.
  12. Dang - buy me a lottery ticket, you called it.
  13. I enjoyed it last year. Will DVR it, fast forward all commercials, and watch at night when chilling. It’s football, so good to me! The biggest issue is defensive players tend to be much better than offensive (especially QB play). Makes it tough to enjoy sometimes, but I support the idea of a “minor league” for players to find new opportunities in the NFL.
  14. Reich calms fears, says “Like Jay-Z, it takes a few years to become an overnight sensation. Not worried about missed opportunities because it is what it is.”
  15. We do have a shotgun problem and we keep shooting our dang feet off with it.
  16. He can’t even guard us from the incorrect usage of “then” and “than”.
  17. I guess we all have different opinions of "flash". To me, a flash is what Zach Wilson did last night on that 3rd quarter drive. Everyone hates on him and he has played poorly. However, last night there was this drive where he was laser focused. Throwing multiple back shoulder throws with zip and PERFECT accuracy. He even had a Cam-esque run into the end zone for a 2 point conversion. It left me (and Collinsworth) saying, "holy cow, who is this guy??". It was awesome to see. That is a flash to me. And no, haven't seen anything even remotely close out of Bryce. But I will continue to watch and cheer the team on.
