    Hes been better than every QB we've brought in. You might even have a point if we were a good team making good decisions, but in reality we're being rumored to want to trade for Baker Mayfield. Welcome to reality. Where last year we were so bad we had to pull the ghost of Cam Newton off of the couch to start for us.

    His final year he had 16td, 4 INT and a 90.7 Rating. We're currently trotting out the worst QB over the last 4 years out at say one starter. Let's be reality about how bad the panthers situation in.

    We previously had Eric Reid --no media circus. We also publicly courted Watson for years. I'm not sure the media circus angle is a real.

    Imagine 4 years ago we'd be talking about going into a season with Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield as our starting QB.

    The better question is why are you upset that a player on the panthers thinks a guy on another team is bad and that Robbie Anderson criticizing the Browns backup QB is going to cause an issue in our locker room.

    It can, I imagine Sam would be even worse if he weren't athletic. That said, the point people are making is about potential and it's safe to say after four years in the league he should have shown what he can do with it and he has not for whatever reasons you want to point to, like Sam feeling like he's proven he's good enough to be a starter.
