Wmif we have a QB that performs at a high level we're a playoff team. If the oline improves, the run game shows consistency, we put up more points in the red zone and get teams off the field on 3rd and long we're pretty damn legit team. Not all of our issues are personnel though. We have injury problems and poor coaching as the two biggest issues imo outside of QB and two OL positions. If we don't land Watson we continue to look at improving the OL AND SCHEME and see what happens because there aren't any other transcendent QBs available this year.

Probably the most sober take of this week. I can imagine a world where they take meetings with teams and judge the local reactions/sentiment.

From the same article he cherry picked this Stat: "If we include ALL QB cap hits for 2021 (active, reserve list, practice squad, & dead cap), the Rams hold the most Quarterback cap in the NFL by a wide margin. In fact, the $46.2M allocated to Rams' QBs in 2021 is the 2nd most of all-time, " And the year prior the bucs won with the single highest individual cap hit for a starter. We also see that Matt Ryan and Peyton manning made SBs with 15 and 18 percent cap hits respectively.

Yea, and no one is buying your issue being Watson's cap hit.

How many of those teams make the playoffs. Screw it,how many win over 50% of their games? We're on four straight losing seasons since Tepper and we're talking suber bowl or bust. Yeesh. Just say you don't want Watson.

It's enjoyable and I've actually find a lot of good panthers talk from it. You being one. The team is in Flux and I don't know where we end up, but if we land a franchise QB I'm okay with it.

The huddle has tried to offload every single one of those guys at some point. Now they're upset if it actually happens? The same huddle that tried to justify why the three picks we gave up for Sam Ducktales was good value. Never change lol

Huddle hyperbole at it again

Neither Marshall nor tremble look like starters.

They talked themselves into it. First off, they believed they were better coaches than they are. That led them to believe they could unlock Sam's talent. If they succeeded Rhule would have his guy, who he fixed, and wouldn't upset his preferred Rhule centric power structure. But to be fair, Huddlers convinced themselves of it too. A lot of talk was made about how Tannehil became a better QB, how horrible Gase was, Sam being a better passer than Cam and Teddy, he would be good with the quick short reads and would play well if the pocket broke down because he throws well outside the pocket and anyone who said otherwise was a Cam nut hugger. Hilarious looking back.
