  1. Lies. That's a Huddle thread. No guarantee of insight regardless of length..
  2. For anyone interested in additional firearms training, in his spare time La'el Collins now offering advanced classes in how to shoot yourself in the foot. Previously planned classes on underhanded smoothness in bribery have been cancelled.
  3. I am not legally obligated to, no. Watching some dude with a bad shirt/tie combo explain in excruciating detail the nature of my team's running back's hamstring injury exceeds my personal limit of obsession with the sport. I will spend the time that I would have spent watching the video contemplating how much better the world would be without Rian Johnson. fug that guy.
  4. "No one goes through anything alone if we do things the right way." Now that sounds like a man crafting the right locker room culture. Sound words in a football locker room and beyond.
  5. This is true, but one thing any team looking at Brady for HC should consider (but probably won't): much of Rhule's culture is built around his personal charisma, which is not replicatable and which Brady does not seem to carry anything resembling. Players buy into Rhule's program due in no small part in his ability to sell himself and the program. That is a skill set that it remains to be seen whether Brady possesses.
  6. Wait.... I've been living a lie this whole time? *falls to his knees, arms to the heavens* Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! *weeps for all the enchiladas of years gone by.*
  7. An old college gf of mine studied abroad in Italy for a year and to this day will not eat american pizza and claims all american pizza is crap. Fug that, you're just a pizza snob. I eat a Crossandwhich any time I get the chance just because I know it has to piss the french off. I've had real honest to god authentic Chinese food and I can say two things with metaphysical certainty: It is absolutely nothing like american chinese food. I have no idea how China grew it's population to a billion people eating that poo. It made me want to kill children I don't have to save them from eating it and then commit suicide. It's that bad. Vive la 'Murica!
  8. This is the poetry that stirs my soul. Give me not Emily Dickinson whining about days of yore and comparing her unrequited love to a turnip leaf. I'll take the Bill Shakespeare of the Huddle and his artfully crafted musings over any of that other nonsense. The boycott is ON.
  9. Is that also true at the pro level? I genuinely don't know, but I can see teams wanting to keep their stadium fields that will be on tv and seen by 60k fans in the stands as pristine as possible.
  10. Do they have a post office in your world? Local government? Or is everything just run by the pink elephants?
  11. I think overlooked in the discussion of Joe Brady's merits is the dumb thing he is not doing. With a craptacular OL, he isn't doing those stupid slow developing long pass plays that kept getting Cam killed. That leads for the moment to underutilization of Anderson, but it's the right call. For his age and experience level he's ahead of the curve. Will def wind up as a HC somewhere.
  12. I've always been under the impression teams really only play on the stadium fields during actual games. All other times they practice on practice fields. Thus CMC and Horn have played exactly two games on the new field. I really don't think that's enough their injuries are owing to the new field. I'm sure whatever studies you're referencing show these things to be factors over time. If turf fields caused that much of an immediate impact and difference, no NFL team would use them. At the end of the day you're still talking about owners who make the call on these fields and have to sign the paychecks for a whole roster of highly paid hard to replace elite athletes. If the turf fields really are so much worse, the owners would just be shooting themselves in the foot. I'm not saying all owners are smart, but they do act in their own self interest.
  13. Watch me. Fug Bellicheat. fug the Super Bowl refs. fug Ed "too young to get that call" Hochuli. fug the 2016 season opener heading hunting on Cam is okay refs. fug Jerome Boger. fug Amy "You're only getting to third base on prom night" Reynolds.
  14. I'd like to repeat this part because it sounds vaguely important. Are you listening NFL? TNF suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.
  15. Don't notice the fire hydrant on the 20 yard hash mark. What? You didn't see it either?
  16. Threads about punters always end well.
  17. Okay. Okay. Fine. I can be the bigger man. Let's deal with the elephant in the room. Everybody knows I posted over and over again what an ass Tom Brady is and how he could never be part of a great commercial. But even I can admit, that new Subway ad is fuging funny. /whispers "But you don't eat bread."
  18. "Power bottom 3" I'm pretty sure saying this in front of kids is at least a class 3 misdemeanor, if not a felony.
