Not even close they’re both playing connect the dots. At best.

why the fug is someone who has never had success or even a role in anything football related having such strong input on what needs to be happening in very impactful football operations? I mean what causes someone to be such a way? like me with a career in law waltzing in to a car factory and start demanding engines be built how I feel they should with zero experience…not in a million years would I think to do that even if I bought the damn factory thats literally what Tepper is doing and thinking he will be successful lol..like yea Tepper these guys spent their lives at the craft but you’ll walk in and have valuable input doing it for well since never this is a toy to him, buckle up Panther fans…there is no future for this team under tepper

The boss at practice today with eyes on the OL
onmyown replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lol the players showing up in Tepper’s office to evaluate the situation and leadership because that’s where the biggest issue is -
Hmmm HC rejects running out of options, probably on Teppers radar.
-
See this is where the huddlers get it twisted. He isn’t picking the wrong guys. The right guys don’t want to work for him. The right guys know this isn’t a situation they will have success, for the reasons already outlined in this thread. Huge difference. And a much more dire situation.

Albert Breer: both Reich and Fitterer back in ‘24
onmyown replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we are on track, Tepper should be learning that order soon, 6 years to learn what everyone already knew…probably another 4 or so before he learns he didn’t know better tho. -
Albert Breer: both Reich and Fitterer back in ‘24

This was obvious when he was hired for some of us, he is/was unqualified, weird how the huddles’ opinion of him has morphed yet his dumbassery started day 1. -
Tepper watching panthers like he’s playing the slots

Because I can get free or really cheap tickets to seats I normally couldn’t afford. Same with some apparel. And I’m usually out and about anyways, it’s something to do. Yes they suck but lot of good memories for me in that stadium so a certain nostalgia too. Especially for night games. That said, I probably won’t sit through an entire game. I used to all the time but going in and having a few beers then walk around downtown. Check out something going on later at the Knights stadium. Same can all be said for the Hornets. It is what it is. Tepper didn’t buy a business/product, he bought people’s emotions. Thats why he still makes out at the end of the day and his investment continues to grow despite his garbage decisions. Over time though I’ve slowly drifted away. In fact if Reich and Fit are kept next year I doubt I’ll even watch games much less go to them. I’ll always be a fan and root for the team but Tepper isn’t going anywhere and this is going to drag out a lot longer than I think most people realize.

Why do people post stuff like this? Do y’all not get it? It doesn’t work like that. It isn’t money- For players or coaches, this is something Tepper needs to learn. It’s compatibility, no worthwhile coach wants to play for Tepper. Tepper doesn’t want himself or wife to be disagreed and have no say in a job that isn’t his and takes years to do well in if even doing well (football operations). How many great candidates turned down teams like the Browns, Dolphins, and Lions over the years? Thats what this franchise has become. Teppers meddling will domino and I truly believe it will come to a point Tepper will just get desperate and finally give in just to get some wins. But we are 5-10 years from that. Just like the aforementioned franchises. Some players will but for the money (Samuel) but players and coaches with options see the writing on the wall and that is it is extremely difficult to succeed under an owner like Tepper.
-
Nope. It’s not math because coaches who tell Tepper he’s doing things wrong are eliminated. Secondly, good coaches have options, and those coaches actually want to be here and work for Tepper. Thus, if we are relying strictly on math/odds, well that will be a very, very long time.

Evidence of Tepper meddling in football operations?
onmyown replied to TeppersEgos's topic in Carolina Panthers
Are you serious? He has a round table that ‘makes all the football decisions’. Him and his wife, along with a customer service rep, whom all have absolutely no business or qualifications to make those decisions make up half that table with the GM, HC, and Morgan. Do you think that the football people are going to push back all that much against Tepper and his wife? Do you notice a trend in the hires? A car salesman, a yes man and an aging pushover all with little to no options? Tepper despises being disagreed with. It’s why a lot of coaches wouldn’t be a fit here, including good ones. Look at all the decisions being made for this franchise and how awful they’ve been, do you really believe there is someone on that table pushing back and speaking up about how bad these moves are. The answer is a resounding NO. -
how many coaches, players and staff y’all going to blame year after year pretty obvious Tepper is the issue, sure it won’t change but that doesn’t change the fact thats where the blame lies
-
fire the staff so the same idiot owner can rehire the next staff? yea that sounds like a new result nothing changes until Tepper admits he needs help
-
Makes sense, it’s his only worth, if he can’t get one a game he is useless.
-
Yea the panthers can do no wrong. Fun fact, they already offered him fair market value. And a deal didn’t get done. So wrong on both accounts.
-
That’s exactly my point. Terrible moves like that linger even after the fact.
-
This is directly related to god awful coaching (Rhule) who don’t play players to their strengths let alone actually develop them. One just needs to look to the Browns and all the ‘talent’ they amassed via top picks year after year and and completely wasted it away away to see an example of pure dysfunctional franchise and shitty morale and an engrained losing culture. Bad FO and personnel will devastate a franchise more than people seem to realize.
-
Fun fact, when the 2003 Super Bowl Panther team were asked what they did different that year (besides online roids), they noted the team was heavily involved in yoga/pilates and even some choreography that they added to their workout routines.

Question for the Burns pocket watchers...
onmyown replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's really simple whether they pay burns or not, the team is years away from competing and what he does during his contract won’t even matter future picks however may, so long as Fit and Reich are gone this is the collateral damage of all of Tepper dumbassery, you can’t do unbelievably stupid poo like he has done and turn it around in a matter of games or a season he’s dug a hole with his path making, smarter than everyone cheat codes and rebuilding properly like he should’ve done in the first place takes time and is the only way to get out -
Ickey is fuging garbage - the official thread™
onmyown replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m not too worried we will have a top 10 pick for several up coming drafts and can replace our first round busts with other first round talent -
Paying Burns close to Bosa money on top of all these other dumbass moves will absolutely destroy and cripple this franchise for years to come. We are already on the brink of that if not there already. Burns is not only NOT worth that but even IF he all of a sudden takes over games, this team is too trash for it to matter. Just like CMC. Should've traded him when we had the chance, but if they can recoup a first+ right now, that is the smartest move with a house cleaning looming.

lol PJ beat IND and SF? PJ was 15-32, 178 yds and 1 int 0 tds vs the IND and 18-34, 192 yds and 2 ints 0 tds vs SF. That’s atrocious and yes Darnold would’ve done better. In fact, when he was put in last year over PJ the team looked day and night. As far as on other teams, with the other coaches, and the future of those players neither is really more than a backup so it’s not that Darnold is ‘my guy’ but he is better than PJ. Honestly I’d rather have an unknown low pick rookie showing what he has thrown in than either as a back up but if my hand was forced either or, it’d be Darnold.
