    OLED?

Meh…I wouldn’t say 5x… The tiers are basically 1.5k, 1.0, 500. Anything around 2-3k isn’t worth it, it’s just the above prices with extra features (nicer yes but not worth the jump at all and everyone knows it). Then there re a few ridiculous priced TVs 5k-10k and beyond and these are basically showcases of the future 8k, mini led etc. but these technologies are years away from being affordable BUT close enough that OLED are finally coming down. I have been patiently waiting. A OLED today that cost say 3k, was 15k only 3-4 years ago. And so it is time.

    OLED?

Nice, this is good info. TV won’t be in direct sunlight but the room isn’t as dark as a basement. It’s average I guess you’d say? Has one large window coming from the side but that’s it. I’d say picture is more important but not at the expense of not being able to see it 50% of the day just because it’s clear and sunny. I’ve always loved Sony’s quality and admittedly never owned a LG. Samsungs for me have been utter trash. I am like you and looked at the processing. I have asked around and everyone says the C1 over Sony if I spend at least a quarter of my time gaming, which I do. Yet I still like the Sony, this puts my mind at ease should it be my choice.

    OLED?

I’m some ways I agree…but if you think OLED and LCD are even close, may be time to visit the ol’ opto. You don’t see how you worded that a bit off? No one knew you were going to enlighten us on what companies made the technology…because to a regular consumer that is kind of pointless information. Sony is marketing OLED as is Vizio, Hinsense and maybe it’s TCL market QLED, someone else is doing nano, there is another called full array and another called ‘mini LED’ who cares? I was more looking for a recommendation/experience and so for that you say LG for OLED and my question would be to share what really matters and is useful… WHY? That may be more useful than ‘they’re both fine’. I know Sony buys their OLED from LG but in looking at Sony’s top end OLED…it looks much better than LG and Sony appears to be way ahead of LG in terms of making a bright OLED.

    OLED?

Also Samsung is compete trash. Most reputable critics know it’s between LG and Sony. With some random models from Panasonic and Phillips…but for the most part it’s Sony and LG.

    OLED?

Uh…you may want to get re certified. Neither QLED or OLED is brand specific. It’s a type of TV/panel.

    OLED?

Basically you want a full array/QLED - (companies all have different names for it) which is basically the best standard LCD or the best on market which is a OLED. Downfalls of the OLED are the lighting isn’t as bright. Big factor is it causing burn in (due to OLED individual lighting sources). Though they are working on that and the the future is basically a bright OLEDs. But for now it’s a less bright OLED looking amazing in pitch black movie rooms or a full array for any lighting. I am leaning towards the full array but I am going to the store to check out if it will be a problem. If it’s not, OLED is the way to go.

    OLED?

In the market for a new TV. Budget is about $1500. Been looking at the Sony A80J and LG C1 (I game) 65 inch. I have zero experience with OLEDs and my main concern is how dark everyone says they are. Is this true, are they too dark for a semi bright room, should I just get a high grade normal LCD like the X95J? Anyone want to share their thoughts/experience with OLED? I game 50% of the time and movies the other half.
  9. why just rookies? we still have quite few ‘sleepers’ from the past two years
  10. They’re pretty solitary. My grandparents had one in their pond since I was a kid and was pretty sure it mated with one as we saw another around for a time during certain seasons but it left. My best friend also had two and only two in his pond for about 20 years that mated. The babies are pretty much on their own day 1 and go their own way. The one at my grandparents stayed its whole life though. Died right before one of my grandparents died (so like 30+ years).
  11. And yet you did not let anyone know so I had to watch it myself. smh 13:55 peeps.
  12. yea I don’t think we have a choice. But Burns needs help, he isn’t elite take over one man army kind of player. And we have no one. i reallly really don’t like the look of the dline this year, at all. have a feeling it’s going to be very bad. brown is on pace to set it back big time.
  13. I don’t know I mean that was a harassment charge followed by a DUI charge. I wouldn’t dismiss or minimize things because someone was drunk or a certain race and bad jokes can still be racist. We would care differently is she was assaulted or someone died from the DUI? And why does it need to get to that point? I certainly wouldn’t be laughing if someone came up behind me, put their hands around my neck and said something like that no matter what gender/sex I am. But yea for a female parking attendant just trying to do her job, probably alone, I’d imagine that’s a whole other level of terrifying. Guess my point is that is not some normal poo and people are being cancelled for the same thing. Everyone should be held accountable and some need to realize that it just may not be his race holding him back.
  14. “The arrest report outlined the incident: Bieniemy was with five friends in a parking lot when he allegedly approached a lot attendant from behind and grabbed her by the neck. The victim told police the contact was not painful, but it startled her. She said the man also made comments while holding her. "She stated that the male who grabbed her said something about 'a bunch of black males all at once being her worst nightmare,' " according to the report.”
  15. Yes, as I have stated over and over for those who want to act like it’s for another reason, multiple players have said this, as well as his really shitty history full of racist remarks and legal issues that a different person would be cancelled for today. Look it up. He isn’t this great person or coach. He benefits from Reid.
  16. it’s no biggie, we will just have to agree to disagree that receptions mean anything when discussion drops, i personally don’t understand looking at it like that - but it’s all good each their own
  17. Drop percent is what I was referring to. I also assumed that’s what people refer to when they call him the drop leader. That is the only way to quantify dropped passes. But you insist a player who has 1000 receptions and 10 drops is somehow the leader over a player with 100 receptions and 7 drops. That is literally spinning things. Who in the hell just looks at just the drop number without the receptions?
  18. he led the league in dropped passes per reception that’s a fact, and that is exactly what I posted, how is this making things up? you say no no no it was DJ who dropped more! but he only dropped one, single pass more with almost twice the receptions seems to me you’re the one trying to make crap up lol
  19. yea and you were touting our oline as going to be one of the best we’ve ever had this time last year we get it, facts don’t affect your optimism because it’s always better to have hope but this isn’t some ailment diagnosis, it’s just sports, and we will call it for what it is a fact you’d think most people look at when doing more than just looking at a ‘drop number’ - which puts Robby as the NFL leader and it’s not even close with the receptions by the only other three above Anderson in the NFL he’d come out to about 13-14 drops, demolishing #1 which is 9 unless you of course are super optimist and say he would caught every single of those 50 more receptions, he’ll might have even scored 50 TDs in which case he’s actually underpaid and the best wr in franchise history
  20. he has the Temple hall pass seriously though you’d think the NFL dropped pass leader would need as much practice as he can get i really really hope Marshall is ready to take Robby’s snaps, the bar isn’t even that high epically when it’s for 10m+ less or whatever
  21. Exactly. Watson (and to a smaller extent Rodgers) really set the presidence for the QB position in a lot of ways. Such has having their hand in GM decisions (though yes some GOATS already do this but I suspect non GOATS will whine for it too), and backing out of an already signed contract and refusing to play and if you’re not happy only to be rewarded by another team. I mean it’s one thing to have input on players on the team, but GMs and HCs? And that was with bad publicity and looming legal issues. Imagine without those factors. All agents for QBs are paying attention to all of this. On one hand I see their points if they’re not happy. On the other hand you’re kind of screwing teams by signing the contracts like they aren’t actually contracts in definition. Literally months before going elsewhere. It’s all about balance in the contract, such as the no trade clause. The team and the player need to be somewhat happy and reasonable. Gone are the days where the QB is just going to suck it up and play for a team they don’t want to. What does a high commodity player lose by breaking the contract? What does the team lose by releasing he player? I suspect contracts will change in some way or terms or structure in the future to address this more specifically. Especially with first contracts and mid level non GOAT players (Murray). At the same time I don’t think there is much to be done about top level guys (Rodgers) that’s just the benefit of multiple teams willing to pay and offer whatever.
