With the defense playing a full game worth at the half it’s going to get really really ugly. -

Honestly I think the 49ers are just comfortable playing around taking risks. If and when they realize to tighten up…it’s going to be hard to watch. -

Great to see it but it needs to be a norm, not a cherished single play in the 3rd quarter of the season. -
San Fran is not the Panthers, they actually have legit scouts and talent evaluators, and coaching. Players don’t blow up once they leave like they do here. Despite the dumb trade for him, if SF let him go, I take that as he isn’t the answer.
-
The problem is FA QBs with options won’t come here. Including trades even if we want to overpay. We get leftovers thanks to Tepper. The only hope is to draft one, and that’s a big hope since the Panthers don’t know how to draft. Very similar to the Browns.
-
I’d argue we don’t have a legit coaching staff either. More of Tepper ball, won’t end til he’s gone.

Speaking of revisiting trades: Brian Burns
onmyown replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
Should’ve signed him or traded him for ransom. Instead the inept panthers chose option C. Brown will be wasted here without some other above average dline/rush talent, even just one player. -
“grossly overvalued from a fan and media standpoint, creating an absurd fixation on the results delivered by a single player who has to rely on the contributions of everyone around them. This also drives the dreaded inflation of QB salaries” What drives those insane QB salaries is not the media and fans it’s the organizations realizing how important the position is. Of course lots of things go into a successful team but it is clear there are VERY few examples of Super Bowl winners that had a team good enough to be champs without elite QB play and in contrast SEVERAL examples of champs with other positions lacking.

Ehh, teams earlier this season double and tripled teamed him with decent success. The reason he beasted out so much with Miami was for some reason they did not much at all. Bad call on their part. But that is his purpose. If he is eating up people that is huge, and theoretically should give others the ability to make a play. But his surrounding cast to do that isn’t great. Brown is something OCs have to put a lot of time to plan for.
