  1. I’d also be weary after 3 good games, especially before being paid id list examples but I’d get carpal tunnel
  2. Just for fun - we could have tanked the last three years (or just in 2019) in a row and be headed to the playoffs this year with home field advantage and a franchise qb. Of course we would just have to give up about six or so moral victories. Six spread out over three years that is. I guess imagining us in the playoff scenario with a franchise qb is a losers mentality though. Good thing we can add another couple moral victories this year, be in position to do the same next year, and call ourselves winners.
  3. No reason. With what we spent on Corral he should be groomed and given his chance as our backup and to shine if the opportunity presents itself. Plus, I think if he works hard, he has the talent to be an above average backup. That’s his ceiling after all, despite the homers on here.
  4. There is also no asterisks, trophies or extra points for winning the division. Especially without a winning record so we couldn’t even aim for back to back winning seasons. The division isn’t the goal. If your team doesn’t even compare to other post season teams what’s the prize? And if you watch other games the Panthers are really far off from them. And it’s not really a any given Sunday type scenario. All SB teams in the past have a lot of commonalities. The last and only time I remember a poo team going deep was the Giants with Eli. I suspect PEDs, especially for the oline that flipped a switch. But I digress. A 7-10 record and playoff loss then trade 3 firsts and who knows what else for a qb vs. losing out and just picking him, is kind of a big difference future wise for your franchise…with basically same outcome for this season.
  5. 10 minutes? I’m a regular there talking poo and rotating getting banned (least on saintsreport, falcons are more civil). They are more complimentary because we aren’t a threat, you think that’s how they are when when each team is actually competitive? Spoiler, no they’re not. A lot of them want to tank just like us and that is the overall vibe which you won’t get from 10 mins of being there. Saints fans are dreading us getting the #1 pick, and they’re also were jealous we were tanking and want to do the same. Jealous of the falcons too. Bucs are pretty much dead per usual which is odd even after another trophy. But they’re still hungover and don’t really care about anything and probably won’t for a while.
  6. that’s what was wrong with Jimmy Clausen imo, he never asked these kinds of questions what could have been
  7. four back to back seasons of moral victories and fans still don’t get it yet on rival boards they’re literally laughing at us for throwing away a tank and are ecstatic about it…we only come up over there with worries of landing stroud or young, we are irrelevant, falcons fans don’t even care to win this game, lol tepper has deprived this fabbase so much that a 12% chance of one and done playoffs at 2-5 vs handicap teams in a putrid division has brought super bowl levels of excitement to casual fans
  8. It’s what bad, one dimensional teams, who have no business being in the playoffs do.
  9. Moore ramifications would be for the future not right now. And but I already said I was against trading Moore. But because there is no one behind him not for any other reason. Just throwing out random numbers but I don’t see how it won’t be close. But please do tell if Bozeman keeps playing at a high level and Burns ends up with 15 sacks or whatever, what a premier DE and above average olineman would cost? Burns is already making more than half that on a 5th year.
  10. 17 m? Bozeman and Burns will likely take 30m to resign on a friendly structure. The rookies with all our picks another 10m+. Not to even mention other resigns. Guess you could wait on Burns with the risk of pissing him off and having a more impactful structure. But that’s nothing. Ideally, around 30m-40m should be the minimum. For a perpetual 5 win team….double to triple that would make more sense but alas here we are. I guess there is some rollover too, I still think there will be a disappointing name or two that we can’t keep and yet again will not be able to grab the best FAs. Also need to account for future contracts. Fact is paying Djax, Anderson, Thomas, Darnold, and Shaq (yes I know that’s a long time ago but still) were really, really stupid moves and set this franchise back. Plus dead money from whoever else. Like why even fire Hurney?
  11. i wonder why our stadium gets taken over with as many moral victories as we have
  12. the panthers have zero cap an just came off the worst span in franchise history, not a super bowl run have to clear it up somehow, imagine wanting to keep burns with zero cap, tough decisions have to be made, that played in to cmc thing more than people realize i don’t think it’s a guarantee but DJ can be replaced with a competent GM, DJ has some clutch plays, and a lot of garbage time (not his fault) but we would do better with a wr that can block and also make plays in the red zone only thing I’m worried about is that Moore is really the only competent receiver as of now, like there is poo beyond him so for that reason they’re probably rethinking it over and over because from other angles it makes a lot of sense Rhule AND Fit really fuged this franchise up more than any span with Hurney, if he is still here at the end of the season I will be surprised even by Tepper dumbassery standards
  13. i feel bad for Pitts but he is in the best scenario in the NFCS bucs and saints are cap crippled for the foreseeable future but they got a ring, bucs paid outright and saints paid late falcons have a fug ton of money to play with meanwhile the panthers don’t have a ring and their cap looks like they just made a run, not the worst stretch in franchise history lol the Panthers are not even joke status anymore on division forums…just a novelty; just kind of existing of course the division IS worried if we would get the #1 pick but seems we will fug that up too…for THE Pj Walker, and our fans looking like idiots being all about it lmao
  14. 7-9 and in the shittiest division and then lose in the wild cards is not what I’d consider a ‘playoff run’ we had a year like that and immediately did not belong there, to me that’s pointless but our fans have become so deprived any playoff game, win or lose, is as good as a Lombardi no thanks, would rather have hope and something to look forward to. the above scenario would not be it for me.
  15. it’s a shame the professionals our owner hired could not see it was a mistake to pay him
  16. Bad wording but my point was if it was all grass they could stop revisiting the issue and spend time on other things. There is no need to keep revisiting the subject, change it all to grass. Turf is made to resemble grass and the natural feeling of ground below it as closely as possible…which clearly means grass is better.
  17. Why do you need to keep relooking at it? We know grass is better, turf is to make money - that’s all. That’s the benefit. Where’s the confusion
  18. The Panthers have existed for 30 years and the worst stretch (by far) comes under ownership of Tepper. Literally - fans were calling bad moves as he was making them. Beer bellied arm chair GMs in their moms basement, how does that happen? Then he runs and hides. He’s pulling bitch moves in Rock Hill and wants to establish revenue without actually putting out quality evident by his hands in all these pots, putting out turf, making comments about his dumbass Garth fuging Brooks poo. It’s a toy to him. He’s Condescending towards Charlotte and insults PSL owners. Good people he hired are mysteriously quitting and finding success and better jobs. I could go on for days. That’s not a bumpy start, it’s exactly the blueprint of someone intentionally destroying a franchise would do…even though he isn’t. What the literal fug are you talking about
  19. i mean no other respectable, talented, up and coming GM would agree to be hired by the damn HC let alone straight from Baylor lmao this is why he must go, he isn’t the best for the job, that ‘coincidence’ doesn’t exist stop the god damn bullshit already Tepper and do this poo right you dumbass. but you’ll need to fire him first, don’t make yourself look stupid/inept again by requesting and being denied an interview because title already taken lol idiot
  20. really glad this organization finally got its head out of its ass and actually put thought into constructing the most important position group on the entire field outside of QB just in time for everything else to fall apart, excellent
  21. it does not fuging matter what he does at FS, he is a playmaker that needs to be close to the ball and he will have the most impact, closer to LOS…probably even an all pro - whether it you simply put him at SS or OLB whatever. Luke was decent at OLB but it was fuging stupid to ever take him away from MLB.
  22. we literally had a poo ton of posters that said this was genius and poo on me for saying it was fuging retarded….where is this mob show yourselves cowards
  23. That’s the irony lol…not high enough to make a difference with a franchise qb, and drop out from top talent so we don’t end up with a Garretttype super star. Winning around 5-7 games like we have for the half decade keeps us where we are. Literally that is what has happened and people continue to want to keep doing it. It’s mind boggling. I mean that 2018 win vs the saints third stringers was…just amazing but having Herbert right about now would be much better. instant gratification society and short sighted fans…and owner for that matter. It’s why every trade we make for a washed up qb is a great idea until it’s not lol
  24. the panthers suck, Zod will check back in August 2023, and once before on draft night…maybe a random thread here and there it is a shame I remember so much effort even on off years but as perpetual losers it is what it is
