Yea I’ve accepted we won’t get #1 or 2. Good news is we aren’t set up to win next year either. New HC hopefully new GM, no QB. No worthwhile FA QB is coming here either, we’ve seen that story. It’s just strange to me how many excuses fans come up with to justify not tanking. There isn’t a qb worth it. It’s not guaranteed. Loser mentality…blah blah. This franchise average wins for five years straight, a half decade is like 5.5. 5 fuging games. Out of 16 and 17. We need hope, we need to invest in a QB. Trade the farm for a top pick if we don’t tank. SOMETHING. Panthers just solidified the worst stretch in almost 30 year history. Since inception, they are the worst they’ve ever been for the longest time period. Our stadium has NEVER looked so bad even with PSLs and business wine and cheese owners. The franchise is literally dying. And yet some are jus nonchalant about tanking or even taking a chance lol. How do yall convince yourselves to cling to nothing it’s crazy.

See but that’s not how football works, that’s a typical/casual fan approach - to think the NFL and success of the team is cyclical, season after season. If this were the case, teams would cycle coaches every year until finding a winner. In reality, it isn’t. The cycle is a much longer period/stretch of time. Once you have been watching football, not just the Panthers, for a while it’s easy to see. It’s like a long game of chess, and just like chess sacrifices are made to open the game up. Feel free to think each season is an opportunity at the Super Bowl scrounging through NFL qb rejects, I’m glad you find joy in that. However, to the ‘chess player’ that’s a losers’ DNA and kind of skirts the definition of insanity tbh. But understanding the process and bigger picture, to include necessary sacrifices is not a loser mentality. That’s kind of like saying a game of chess cannot be won or played by anyone with a winner’s DNA. It doesn’t make sense. Trying and failing is not the same as winning.

How did this obvious troll trigger you all lol

5 wins four seasons in a row it’s looking like. Seems the ‘pieces’ are always there. We don’t need potential or talent, we need wins and competency.
-
Lose the stripes. Keep the teeth and eyes white, don’t make it all blue - that’s the contrast needed. Black chin straps. that’s what will make this look good
-
Uh our last THREE seasons were five wins and before them was 7. Also, going from an average of 5.25 to 6 is NOT improvement, that’s luck. In 17 games no, no less lol man you guys who love moral wins so much seem to forget them very quickly also I saw no one pointing out our triumphant win vs saints third stringers in 2019 as we we losing like hell through those years… let’s refer to this game next year when we are on track for 5 wins again at least you guys are still around. I will give you that. But the whole ‘at least the water isn’t cold’ while the ship sinks and we drown is weird.

2015 oline serviceable? Wut? Pretty sure it ranked like #2 and was on or near the top of every known measurable we have. furthermore, just watching how they moved with a qb like cam thy year was impressive there are many years cams oline was ‘serviceable’ ranking around 17/18, but 2015 I’m going with more than just serviceable

You’re asking the wrong question. Instead of asking me what you’re not aware of you should be asking yourself what did JR paid millions for and gave up his billion dollar company he started from scratch for, so that we would never find out? You’re not aware of it because he paid millions out to multiple victims for nondisclosures. You simply don’t do that if it’s not serious. But the NDAs worked because here you are asking these questions. You’re literally proving the benefit of paying victims to shut up. And it’s fuged up. NDAs are bought to minimize and make things go away. They influence people to think ‘well we don’t know what happened’. That is a series flaw in the legal system because in manipulates people’s perceptions and numbs logic. Like I said, no one pays millions and forfeits a billion dollar company for petty poo - especially an uptight businessman. Can anyone argue that? This is the critical thinking part that is brushed to the side. Why? A poorer man would be behind bars. I work in the system and this is how it works. Paying for NDAs should be looked at with disgust, mistrust, and above all guilt/condemnation. Then they’ll go away. But as you see, your statement represents exactly how they’re looked at, and perpetuate the fact that money will always run the system. I find that fuged up.

Our only hope is to fail next year for our QB. We are on yet another fuging stupid ass 5 win trajectory, never learning. We will not start to win until we draft our future. Worthwhile FAs have a choice (spoiler, it won’t be here), pointless topic. And this team’s scouting and FO are NOT talented enough to survive a San Fran/Lance or Watson type situation. That would be fuging suicide for our idiot, inept owner who doesn’t even know how to properly hire/interview for a GM or HC.
-
Less than accused of maybe but let’s not merit nondisclosures. That’s why rich people pay them. So others can say such things. fug that. You pay for them, I’m assuming the worst. No one spends millions on multiple nondisclosures and then sells his billion dollar company only after his own private investigation (lol) wasn’t going to fly for petty poo. fug JR he should’ve went to prison.

I find it ironic one season doesn’t make him a bust but all of a sudden not even one season makes him a beast let’s see some consistency at least one more season because before this year and even the first couple games he looked like hot trash Just sayin bc i can’t even count the number of players where in ‘clicked’ closer to payday this franchise has wasted resources on…

Is anyone EXCITED / Attending tonight’s game?
onmyown replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
F that. lately that bitch is being recorded and I will watch it when I’m bored. sometimes I can’t even take the whole thing at once (that’s what she said) and watch like a qtr a day first time in almost 30 years I have ever done this thanks Tepper you fugtard -
Official hey the Panthers are wearing black helmets GameDay Thread!
onmyown replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
to be fair the chances of it being an awful situation pointing a finger at any random period of time for this franchise is like 80% and i think these things (uniform changes) have to be announced before the season or something sad but it is what it is -
anyone with one brain cell and watches the games knows this is bullshit where are the stats about what he’s given up, how much he’s targeted, and to include his dumbass penalties…those would eye popping #s but at least we didn’t give up a high pick that will basically be a second rounder for him
-
it’s almost as if someone who wasn’t coaching who wanted to, wasn’t for a reason Rhule was too stupid to figure that out. but no one wanted to play for Rhule. he was inept but his next biggest problem is he had zero connections and coaching for a small college coach when you already have a decent NFL resume frankly looks fuging retarded, that’s something Tepper was too stupid to figure out. if you’re going to go the route that has a .01% chance of working out (hiring a college coach) for some dumbass reason, at least know he will have competent staff with experience McAdoo is and was trash.
-
personally I’d rather take a chance teaching a guy like stroud certain things to change than bet on young overcoming and constantly coping with things will never change with that said I wouldn’t be mad either way, ultimately it will come down to desire and FO ability to set them up for success and there is a lot to be said for ethic/desire to become good. Brees Wilson Murray all have it and were small. we are doomed anyways with dumbass Tepper calling the shots.

Brugler: Next year's quarterbacks "not universally loved"
onmyown replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Same poo new year. Just going to wait until another 10 years for the next Luck or Herbert/Allen or even Mahomes or Rodgers (who weren’t really drooled over either) comes out? I’ve learned media hype is bullshit and I find it hard to believe no one will workout to be a good QB in this entire draft. What I have learned is unfortunately what really matters is your FOs ability to make sound decisions, and then set up said sound decisions for success, so we are fuged no matter what anyways. -
Yep been saying this over and over. Sean is 100% right and Tepper is turning this franchise into a terrible place to play and coach. Interviews with ex Browns coaches and players will essentially tell you what Tepper is building, a franchise full of irreversible ineptness, and he is too stupid to understand it.

PFF grades from Week 9 loss to Bengals
onmyown replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
pretty sure everyone thought that except our resident, eternally optimistic, ‘die hard fan’ sunshine crowd who are ironically no where to be seen -
who cares had we won that game we be at what… like pick #6? fug that there are some horrendously bad teams this year for some reason, we have to chill the fug out at two wins even one moral victory can royally fug us harder than SpecialJuan’s mom on a any given night
-
damn that is a rough injury for a QB…might’ve ruined him depending on how bad it is…what a shame
-
Yea we are talking a first rounder in fuging 2025 people. With a competent coaching staff we should be competitive by then. In any case it’s also mind numbingly shocking how stubborn Tepper is. Like you see what’s going on and still think you need to be involved in things without ANY help. That is batshit crazy.
