Pretty sure Darnold and Baker had literally a bottom 5 oline in the league. I know looking at weapons is fancy but there are several examples of QBs winning without out them. Supporting cast means whole team because it matter. Very few if any examples winning with an abysmal oline. Also, Matt Rhule. Not going to argue who had it better but I wouldn’t say it’s a wild statement.

Worst part is in this day of technological advancement having a ref even on the field is completely unnecessary. Maybe far in the future but I believe the commissioner said something along the lines of ‘refs (and bad calls) are part of the excitement of the game.
