Bro he is trying. He is terrible at it but he tries. You can't deny that.

The only thing he’s trying to do is take credit, if he ever learns to cleans up his own mess of things. That’s not trying.

yall really aren’t curious in the slightest why Tepper relies on his wife and customer service rep to help him and doesn’t actually hire football people?

Not curious why he can somehow look back at his legendary/historical failings as an owner and still want to call shots like he’s capable? Not at all?

it’s because he wants to be in the spotlight should he ever figure out how things work. His ego is too big. And losing no matter how long is of no concern. He can’t do that if he hires someone to run this properly and then has success. That would also be actually trying.

From a **strictly football perspective** JR was about as good of an owner as you could hope for. Definitely could question his undying loyalty to Hurn Dog, but he delivered two NFC Championships, another trip to the NFCCG in our second year ever, and went to bat to draft Cam when people were saying he never would.

From a football standpoint, going from JR to Tepper was like the majors to Single A.

I know you said from a football perspective but some things matter - JR is a sex offender that would be in prison if he didn’t have money to pay for non disclosures. He also took cam bc it was the year a cap was put in place and there was no more monetary risk, he absolutely wouldn’t have otherwise guaranteed. He shafted fans for his ‘buisness’ for years. He was literally a human piece of poo.

that said he did have more winning teams than Tepper, who thinks he’s capable to call shots like an idiot

who would’ve thought 6 non back to back winning teams or whatever in 25 years was a bar too high for Tepper

Man, some of y'all need to go outside, play with your kids or pets, or do anything else.

Look, it's just a game.  It's something to enjoy, but please don't get yourself all twisted.  If you want to root for another team: go for it!  it's your life!  You don't owe the NFL anything.

I get it, we're disappointed.  We all had really high expectations.  But the reality is that things don't always work out.  I'm sticking it out because this is my team.  If we suck for another five years - well that's just the way it is.  I'm not going to lose too much sleep over it.

Honestly, some of y'all just need to get your stuff together and stop being so melodramatic.  Do you act like this in real life?  Or is this your outlet so you can do all your pointless whining here?

no one is like this in real life unless talking sports. and no one is losing sleep. this is a Panther forum where you’ll find the most hardcore fans of the team and you want people to start what? talking about their pets and kids? such a weird take

maybe instead of posting you should walk your pets and play with your kids idk

also I bet money no one is leaving this is just emotional fans. On a fan forum. This is year 6 of being the worst team in the nfl I think anyone still here deserves to vent

  4. racked up a lot of poo in the offseason saying Reich was trash with a history of garbage calls and the coordinators we hired were more qualified to be HC

    now you see

he just isn’t a modern nfl coach

The atmosphere was decent for a MNF game but quickly faded. Our entire section started clearing out at like the top of the 4th quarter even when the game was still very much in the balance.

    Oops I meant Monday*.

After decades of watching football, some people can see the writing on the wall for the Panthers. I’ve left early a couple times before when it was still possible to win but I knew it wasn’t going to happen. And unfortunately I’ve never been wrong.

Most NFL games are generally close as it is. I saw a stat once how like 90% of games are decided by a single score. And for the Panthers I can’t even remember off hand a game they came back and won in the past five years. The Viking game with Darnold being the closest.

  6. I was pretty surprised how loud the stadium got Sunday. So sad to see fans with hope being let down and as usual dying down as the game goes on. I’m not spending money on games anymore and haven’t for years. The irony would be Tepper selling his toy because of revenue loss from tanking it.

Tepper needs to hire someone to help him. JR did it, then went to the Super Bowl, albeit due to Cam. Why can’t Tepper hire someone? Can anyone give me a good reason why he can’t?

Can he just go ahead and sell? He's doubled his money with a piss poor product. Cltfc sucks too

Where else can you buy a company,  drive it into the ground and double your money.

Big Tep daddy said he wouldn't stand for mediocrity and boy has he delivered.  I would kill for a mediocre next 5 years

If we can get 8 wins I am hosting a season bowl party

My biggest concern is that the talent problem might start at QB. Outside of creating a Dolphins type situation with elite weapons everywhere and a great OL I'm just not sure Bryce has the physical tools to be successful at this level. And it's hard to build that type of surrounding talent after giving up all that capital in a trade.

It’s hard when your owner is trying every cheat code in the book for success. The Panthers STILL have not had that tank season they desperately needed. And now they trade to get a pick they should’ve naturally had for a while now. That’s the issue - always band aiding a team instead letting things happen naturally to properly rebuild like many other teams do. But Tepper is a path maker and ‘smarter’ than that.

you’ve gotta understand, people here get really attached to certain things and thus diminish others. The bengals passing on penei Sewell for jamarr chase was heretical. The saints trading an extra 1 for a wide out is laughable.

they genuinely cannot process what you’re saying. Shouldn’t a strong running attack mean you can save money at receiver? What if we just like played with more grit?

according to our coaches ‘now that we have Young we can focus on defense’ lmao

  10. some of us knew Young needed more time and a better coach. Knew fit was trash and Reich was trash and Tepper was trash doing dumbass poo for years. we knew this season was going to be bad.

hope you blind homers see it now and the annoying off-season sunshine crowd check out a bit early per usual.

way too early to tell about Young, but if he ends up trash it’s due to this FO. he may not ever be good but he should not be this bad imo

  11. You can blame the number 1 overall pick…the fourth QB since new ownership or Reich the third coach or Hurney the second GM…

but in reality is Tepper is the problem he has no clue what’s going on and drove this into the ground

perhaps instead of consulting with his wife to play with his toy he will hire legit football minds to get a staff together

he is the cancer of this franchise no matter what player or coach or GM comes in
