  1. I agree with them. I haven’t written Young off. Guess I am one of the few it seems. Some QBs just take time, especially the cerebral type, history shows that. Physically gifted QBs will flash early. Doesn’t mean Young will pan out, just is what it is. Fans don’t like it but despite the investment, I would’ve sat Young and played Dalton up to the halfway mark at least.

Tepper, Fit and Reich are utter trash and somehow they’re at the top of this organization. If it were Stroud here doing well it’d be despite the FO…much like a lot of Cam’s years. Players should never have to compete against idiocy from their own management. Yet here we are.

This is exactly the type of staff that a “football person” would have hired.  Hindsight is always 20/20.

    lol wut?

Reich and Fit absolutely are not what would have been hired, even I saw Reich as a god awful move, and thus a lot of other hires/moves wouldn’t have happened like a domino effect and we wouldn’t be where we are now. Fit and Reich are not hindsight and neither was keeping Hurney and all those coming effects like TB, Darnold, trades etc.

Not sure where you’re coming from as none of that was hindsight and was called immediately as more dumbassery from a egotistical, meddling owner by anyone with a brain cell.

also a football person would probably advise Tepper stay out of things and there is no WAY Tepper will do thar

yall strap up, Tepper is as oblivious as they get. We still have decent coordinators wanting to come here for money, soon not even that will matter. Rock bottom yet to come

This is a bad trade but not because Bryce was the #1 pick it’s because of one reason

WE WERE NEVER A QB AWAY FROM BEING A PLAYOFF CONTENDER like we were led to believe by the idiots Tepper and Fitt

Compare it to the 49ers Trey Lance trade,   who truly were and could still muster competitive season even when their trade up for Trey Lance was a total bust.

Bryce Young will not bust but it was stupid to trade away his #1 receiver and next year’s first when it’s going to be another top 5 pick.

That’s why it’s a bad trade and it would be a bad trade even if  Stroud was the pick. Stroud in this offense may have mustered a 1-4 record instead of 0-5 and ultimately it’s a different conversation if he should have been the pick instead.

You can’t compare it to San Fran. They’re an elite ran FO. Look at all the capital they gave for Lance and yet they’re still undefeated. Coaching matters, and even more FO matters. Tepper and his FO think they’re on that level and they’re not. They keep setting back this team years with dumbassery. Tepper has got to let go.

To be fair, do we trust the Teppers to hire the person who could help with football operations?

a concern but he has the money to find the minds

the main problem imo would be refraining from the urge to meddle, and let them do what they want, especially when it’s not something Tepper agrees with

rational people see being disagreed with after 6 years of calling shots creating the worse team in the league as valid. but Tepper is a path make and smarter than everyone else

and what if there is success this route? what can Tepper claim at that point? Nothing. He won’t be happy with that

If this team and offense is trash then whats the path out of it?  We arent firing reich, he is not going to change.  We have some crucial free agents, not a ton of draft capital and a poo load of holes on this team.

We need 3 new corners, another pass rusher or two.  A top wr is a priority, who the fug knows about the oline.  This poo doesnt get fixed in one offseason imo, so when realistically can we expect to simply look better and have a more complete team?

as I’ve always said - When/if Tepper takes his hands off and hires help

san Fran was trash for years until the owner gave up meddling and let the football people go to work

tepper has one hell of an ego though and loves that spotlight so long as it’s due to success. so to answer the question - not anytime soon.

Panthers needs to freaking STOP! Nothing is going to make this 0-4, soon to be 0-6 team, better.

If only we would’ve taken our lumps early on in the Bridgewater days…but the ‘anti tankers’ got their wish. This is what that looks like. And by tanking I don’t mean try and lose. I mean realize your team as is sucks so bad it’s deserving, and desperately needs a top 3 pick instead of patching it at all costs to win enough to pick 5 or so spots later and creating an artificial delusion the team is better than it seems when in reality it isn’t going to help one bit.

Of course with Fit and Tepper at the helm none of it matters anyways.

  7. Reich was always a bad hire. I said it when it happened. He fuged the Colts with stupid ass decisions (Wentz) just like he is doing here. He gets tunnel vision with parts of the field and short throws like someone needs to smack him out of it. Stubborn. Definition of square peg round hole.

And again as I said the hope and only bright spot for this team are the coordinators. The next possible HC is on the roster. Problem now is a new GM is needed. Panthers are one of the few dumbass FOs that hire backwards. So it’s just all fuged you can’t strap a GM to anyone or thing. And you certainly can’t have a Baylor college coach hire your GM lol.

This is yet another area where Tepper meddles. Because he smarter than everyone else he thinks keeping some people around is the way when in reality you have to build it from the GM outward unless you have a rare elite coach coming in.

We might not have 1st round draft pick but we projected to have $70M in cap space and if we restructure Moton, the number can rise to nearly $90M.  If we make Jackson post June 1st cut, we can save additional $11M.  In 2025, we are projected to have nearly $160M in cap space so we have to spend.

Next year FA market is loaded.  Of course some folks will get franchised but there’s a chance for us to go nuts.

Just leaving it here for some positive vibes.  While we are look like a complete trash, this team is positioned very well to flip this around in a very short period of time.

this would be inspiring if money was the issue

i could have a billion dollars but if I buy a billion dollars worth of dildos with it does it matter?

unless your Juan’s mom, the answer is no

    Follow up.

How will Tepper react when CMC wins MVP and Stroud wins OROTR?

Like he just needs more time to figure things out. Y’all can beg for changes but they’re all superficial until Tepper stops calling the shots. But he doesn’t care, it’s not urgent for him. If he can’t do it no one will because there is no way to take credit otherwise. This is a toy to him - he doesn’t give two shits an out winning any other way.

Everybody: Frank is fired, can’t wait for them to announce Evero today

Tepper: Unfortunately, I let Frank go today, the interim Head Coach will be that pile of what is left of Dom Capers, let’s hope he has a good second run.

Tepper just needs to name himself as the new HC and get that poo over with, you know there’s a big part of him that wants to

  11. normally I’d come in with my annual f no stop with the cheat codes and fuging yourself in the draft by dodging a top pick and rebuilding the correct way by doing more stupid poo that may get you a win or two

but the Panthers have even found a way to take that from me since we don’t even have a first round pick…so that won’t even matter

f it who cares just do whatever lol. A WR won’t make up for Tepper’s dimbass

  12. Really need to find a competent GM first and then go from there. I can’t imagine the kind of talent Tepper’s circus has repulsed. I want Johnson even more now for turning the Panthers down.

Has Tepper learned he can’t just buy people who want to win, who don’t want to work for a dysfunctional franchise and realize the path to success will be so much harder under Tep.

Hell at this point it may be who will actually want to come here?

    Just sad.

Max Crosby has done more today than Burns has done all year.

A player the panthers took Will Grier over bc he was a native lol

the panthers are one depressing team lord almighty

  14. should’ve known it was a sign of bad things to come when I was called an idiot by the huddle for saying Stroud was the better pick after we drafted Young

won’t totally give up on him just yet. I feel like personalities like Young’s need time to digest things to become their best. Dude does not have a single elite characteristic outside of his brain and that will take time.

this FO and dinosaur HC is doing him zero favors tho, sitting him from the get go for half a season regardless of the investment would’ve paid off imo

  15. i know it sucks to see young do so poorly, burns ineffective, cmc lighting it up elsewhere…etc

but like I keep saying it really doesn’t matter guys, not one bit.

this franchise is on the browns level who at one point had a dozen top ten picks on the filed and still was a dysfunctional losing franchise

i forgot what HOF player said it but  basically where a player goes impacts his career more than anything else

tepper is utter trash and no amount of talent changes that
