  1. cam Stan’s man…photoshopped out of a banner….mad at Shaq for focusing on AZ instead of cams return… they’ll be all the people who ‘all of a sudden remembered their login’ today or post now in main lol they’re insufferable. prepare yourself.
  2. It’s Saturday not much to talk about. Let’s be real, the Panthers will be 4-6 tomorrow. At the same time I expect a win vs. WFT and Miami putting us at 6-6. Although I must say the Dolphins win over the Ravens was…weird. That leaves the Panthers 6-6 vs. 4-4 Falcons (home) 5-3 Bills (away) 6-2 Bucs (home) 5-3 Saints (away) 6-2 Bucs (away) The Panthers will pretty much need to win 3/5 of these last games, but more likely 4/5 and that’s…hard to see. Yea yea any given Sunday and all that. But this is discussing logical outcomes. (very) General outlooks: NFC South Good news: The Saints have roughly just as tough of a remainder schedule. Bad news: Even though we know they’re a lock…the Bucs have it easy peasy. Meh: Falcons….slightly easier schedule than Saints. Still very much in position to knock Panthers out but I don’t see it happening. One of the few teams (literally 3) with an oline ranked worse by one spot than the Panthers. lol Also, one of the leagues worst defenses. The fact they’re 4-4 is dumbfounding. Outside the south, NFC top 3 contenders: Vikings: Relatively tough schedule. Don’t see it for them. Seahawks: This team is the issue imo. Wilson is back, oline and defense isn’t great lately just below average overall, have 3 very easy games left, but are only one win behind the Panthers. Personally I see it coming down to them and just maybe (unlikely) 49ers being the only obstacle. 49ers: Again one win behind the Panthers but have 4 reasonably easy teams left. They also have a top 10 oline. However more importantly, a below average defense that seems to be getting worse.
  3. really like it as well. his past ones were borderline unwatchable for me. but this was great. i think he was humbled when he realized he wasn’t getting a nice contract through FA like he thought and had to settle for a ridiculous vet min…then again when no one signed him after released. probably had to open his mind a bit to get vaccinated, nothing wrong with that. i had to do the same. respect i say this because he seemed very grateful and excited the panthers gave him another shot…”people keeping saying they were glad I took the Panthers back, but i am glad they took me back”. and may favorite from the whole segment…”fortunately, my taco Tuesday was interrupted”. even though i think this was more of a PR move by Tepper, and it’s unfortunate he will be thrown behind the worst oline in franchise history, i have no doubt this is not at all what it’s about for cam and he is going to give it his all. i am hoping he can get that line to play better holding them accountable. would be nice if someone on this team started barking at them.
  4. not even close, cam has had more excuses than any qb the panthers have had to date. some valid, some not. but people could not critique him or actually have any discussion about him that wasn’t butterflies and roses less they be called racist. sorry but it’s true and everyone know it. what’s going to happen is the team is not going to do so well because it’s a team game and the panthers are far from plug and play qb cam will come in and beat the WFT and the Dolphins and lose the rest no critical discussion allowed and there will be excuses galore. I mean there were excuses on better teams. and there sign cam long term threads. (there already are lol)
  5. honestly it doesn’t make sense to me to make an argument based on the exceptions and not the rule so not sure what to say
  6. who cares? the panthers need to draft olineman. they aren’t really found in FA. the cap doesn’t affect that. the second and fourth rounders lost will still be fuging the panthers long after the cap clears. especially if Fit keep trading down to recoup them and miss out on real talent. i have a feeling this is going to be an ongoing issue.
  7. you cannot fix the 29th ranked oline in one season with half your top picks missing it just doesn’t work like that this oline is already horrendous and they don’t even have Paradis next year, so despite literally dangerous guard play, a C is an absolute must this is the hole that was dug and will take several years to address. honestly it’s really doing cam a disservice.
  8. cam wasn’t playing last his year to prove he was healthy, how in the world do some of you not know or understand this by now and constantly comment about it is dumbfounding i would like to see something with voidable years, something like TBs contract
  9. duh lol and a successful one at that look at the forum cam is back and all is well l, results are an afterthought Tepper isn’t stupid
  10. basically what I’m doing, I don’t think cam will help the ultimate end result but imagining PJ starting is cringe worthy
  11. i would %100 rather see cam with two days of practice than god awful PJ
  12. FYI posting poo like this and being butthurt hurt over it is exactly why people are so annoyed with cam stans every little thing is not something or some slight shaq is focused on the cardinals not cam, and he’s probably annoyed cam is clearly the focus and not the game in two days don’t blame him
  13. so what people seem to leave out is that cam wanted ‘commitment’. after two years of injury and concerns about the shoulder. likely a 4/5 year 120+ million contract. obviously this was risky and the Panthers weren’t going to do it. and cam wasn’t going to play out his last year. unless his ‘just want a little commitment’ post during contract talks meant the opposite. so Cam walked, betting on himself in FA only to find the rest of the NFL also had these concerns. it backfired and he signed for a ridiculous vet min, no commitment. cam lost. meanwhile, Tepper and co signed a bunch of garbage and wasted time. they also lost. so i feel like both cam and the Panthers went in a circle because both were stubborn in different ways. and now we are back to what the Panthers most likely always wanted, a prove it 1 year from cam. irony
  14. it’s bad…real bad. Chandler and Bell failed at blocking. this year, guys are running through untouched. metrics are worse all over the place. good news is over the last two games the oline has gotten better, but that was also patriots and falcons and running it 46 times or whatever. if you want to know if cam has anything left in the tank…it’s going to be tough to judge behind this line
  15. not really a win win, at this point? lose money that could’ve been rolled over lower draft pick and miss playoffs getting cam killed this move %100 should’ve been made after the giants loss but seeing how there is draft sucks at qb and cap money isn’t a big deal I see why you mean and have come to be ok with it i still see getting cam killed
  16. this two specific positions, yes oline in general? false
  17. first he won’t second, NO cam was brought in to sell tickets and make fans happy…results are an afterthought you play cam, fans have zero expectations yet are happy AND you can generate revenue, Tepper wins
  18. 2015 Panther oline was the best in franchise history ranking around 2, some 3 in the entire league. Remmers was the single weak link and he actually did well until the SB. Rivera’s oline was up and dow his entire career, often alternating to the 20s and then around average with two outliers in 2015 and the worst with Bell/Chandler coming in at 22-23. Cam’s worst seasons coicendently aligned with when the oline was a down year. Cam has never played behind a line this bad, ranked at 29. And that’s worrisome. Brady vs. Shula and Rivera vs. Rhule at this point and time is meeh. Cam does have superior weapons no question there. But I always thought he was good enough to not really need a Julio or Smitty etc. So long as he had a line, and 2015 confirmed this. It’s really hard to think he will have success here but we can only hope.
  19. ticket sales and unhappy fans nothing else comes close it cured all, except losing, still waiting on that
  20. is a shitter draft pick really anti cam tho? is it not valid? are you still celebrating Rivera’s moral wins vs saints third stringers when we could’ve had a franchise qb? if we somehow defy history and go to playoffs i will %100 celebrate this move but for now I don’t see how what obviously appears to be a successful PR move and dropping in the draft as anti cam least it will be entertaining and no qbs in the draft anyways I suppose
