  1. Can someone give an example of what this means? Like an early death? I don’t get it. Sounds to me like a covert what to say “…unless I’m wrong”.
  2. Rhule is not here for two more years. We don’t even know if he is back one yet. Success and learning takes a while. We have had stretches of 5-6 years of misery years in the past and we are on year 4. It sucks but isn’t unprecedented. Tep is a hands off guy, which I prefer, all these idiot moves are made by the people he hires not him. His mistake is who he hires. He just needs to hire the right person. Hopefully soon. I’ll give him time to bring the right person in and to right his wrongs. Let’s see what he decides to do after losing the last two games.
  3. Unfortunately, stupidity probably doesn’t qualify.
  4. Ehhhhhh…. The premise is fuging weird and really REALLY fuging stupid. Like whoever came up with it needs to be fired. It’s main purpose, forced strong political/feminist undertones…which is a great message and all but is overdone and overbearing, it pretty much voids the original matrix plot. Great message, but weird movie choice to shove it down your throat. None of it really makes sense. Has a little nostalgia but zero purpose. Overall…it’s awful.
  5. Saints are still technically in it for the playoffs. For all that’s holy please dear god I hope we don’t win this game.
  6. I think there is a 3 year clause in the contract and Tep’s whole he is embarrassed article is him telling the fans this without telling the fans this. Not sure what breaking that clause would mean though other than money. Regardless, Tep needs to protect 2023 picks at all costs.
  7. cam and sam appear to be done in order to continue the 2 qb system we will likely need to trade down and take a qb in the mid-late first and late first/top second…I think Howell can be one of those guys
  8. i consume more alcohol on Sundays
  9. Statistically speaking this is tied with the worst 4 year stretch but can’t quite call it it, statistically, the worst stretch without seeing years 5 and 6. And after the tied stretch we are literally talking about one win. One, that separates it from the second worst stretch as already articulated in my last post. So generally speaking we are right on par with our tri-yearly lull in the franchise history. Franky, you need more years to call it the worst stretch. And no, it’s not close to the Lions territory. The Lions just fielded historically the worst team and record since….yea their OWN record in 2008. Lol, it’s not close. Look I am a realist poster and have even been called a doom and gloomer and if you want to call us kings of the poo pile like the Jags and Jets, I’ll completely agree. But the Lions and Browns are true misery. And this ain’t the worst stretch, it could be, but not quite yet. Give me 2-3 years and I will call it hopeless but my point was the Panthers, statistically, we’re always bad to begin with. It’s just the way it is.
  10. I mean going through 7 wins then 4, 8, 7, 1 and then 7 again…wasn’t much different. Yes at the end Fox came in and surprisingly Delhomme put in from desperation was actual just some random success was great but it still took a span of 5 or even 6 absolutely miserable losing seasons. No one saw 2003 coming I know I didn’t…it was misery up until that point. Hell even the 2005 stretch I left out was misery. Taking out double trouble 2008 12-5 season with the epic meltdown by Jake that stretch was 8,7,8,2,6,7 won years of misery. Just taking out a single season. Again no one knew cam would come and turn it around. Say you did though and we call that last 7 win season a wash…that’s still more or less another 5 or so years of misery. The panthers have gone through lulls and then a few years of success and then back to lulls. It’s almost on que. Seems normal to me, we still don’t know what the future will hold. And in that sense I don’t see a difference. I think a lot of new fans from the cam era never experienced them and don’t know the Panthers outside of cam. But feels right at home for me. Even with a given losing season next year. The lulls would have to surpass 5-6 years for me to be like ok now we are different than we ever have been. This is bad. Now yea, another few years after that of losing or mediocrity and it will feel worse to me. Yes it sucks but it is NOT unprecedented in the slightest. The Panthers were never that great consistently or even close to it. Just my opinion.
  11. Meh…either some of you follow really successful franchises in other sports, cares way too much to begin with, or you think the Panthers were a lot better than they were. They weren’t ever that great or relevant IMO. This was just another season. This losing streak has isn’t that much different than early 2000 one or 2010 stretch…I mean we are talking like 2-3 wins difference during those losing phases? Even before we knew cam was turning it around that last stretch was miserable just the same. Yea this feels pretty normal to me…maybe another half decade of 5 wins and I will not bother anymore.
  12. Quite clear the biggest issue is Rhule cannot relate to full grown men and running practice like a HS football team. Maybe Junior Varsity level but still.

FYI If anyone wants one retail + shipping/signature/insurance, I can help. Retail is $535 including tax. Not sure what shipping would be. Obviously a fair amount of trust goes into this.
  14. Why would anyone in the world want to start a new regimen with Darnold, a gutted draft, zero cap to work with, and a single top pick in the worst QB class in a decade? Plus add in the fact this is NOT a top destination for coaches. You would only attract bottom fruit, think about it. I just see what you guys clearly can’t. 2022 was given to Rhule the moment he was allowed to trade away its resources. Nah, I’d rather the new regimen have all they need. Since Tepper already fuged up - a short leash on Rhule is better for long term health at this point. But I suppose there are always limits and Rhule is skirting them.
  15. It’s not so bad really. I know as fans we hate it but we have a gutted draft and cap is looking like garbage after resigning needed players, Darnold still paid etc. 2022 already was mortgaged for Rhule. As I have said over and over you don’t let Rhule touch 2023 picks and you make him keep Darnold, even if he drafts a qb, make sure he understands he’ll sit. This was his plan and this was his process. When he fails you’ll have a ridiculous amount of cap available, a top pick and full draft, key players rookie contracts coming up the new regimen can decide on. I mean I know this may sound like silver lining stuff but this is the best path for success.
  16. maybe he thought his likes were invisible
  17. And didn’t he turn around and make sure the Giants weren’t going to offer more than the Panthers before accepting? Lmao I’ve waited for Tepper and gave him the benefit of the doubt, but if this idiot boy scout leader who doesn’t know how to talk to adult men comes back year 3, fug Tepper. A bad owner will kill a franchise for decades if it survives.
  18. Does anyone else find it odd the GM they decide to fire picked out he new HC and the new GM had to inherit him? Is that not ass-backwards? Does that not affect getting he best candidates? Not sure how common this is seems weird.
  19. Lol no one is trading for Darnold and Tepper should NOT let Rhule get out of this poo so easily and throw away our future like it’s a nothing. fug no, Darnold stays and Tep demands wins from it or move on. Why the fug would you allow Rhule anymore resources? You want him sticking a top pick rookie behind what he thinks is a line and scheming? fug that, Tep needs to tell Rhule he can’t trade picks next year and Darnold will be starting.
