  1. Just what I was thinking thank god. This just shows how desperate teams are, what a fuging awful trade.
  2. all about the future, you think SF would have an issue getting a worthwhile QB with options? no. Hell even Watson tried lol i could go on and on with examples, building a legit team before a qb is not a bad blueprint, in fact it is proven TONS of examples the problem isn’t that blueprint it’s that that blueprint usually has stable/good coaching not buying this, Rhule told everyone we’d win with Darnold, so he has no excuse, if the team can’t make the playoffs with Rhule’s roster after 3 years, time to move on
  3. you’re mostly right…but Rhule chose his QB, it’s not a decision he hasn’t made, don’t let him blow more cap on a FA unless you let him sign a 5th year, gut a draft and fug a franchise for shits and giggles with that, he made the statement he could win with Darnold. let’s fuging see it
  4. but how are we going to obtain this good to great FA QB with all the competition?
  5. Not sure if time makes a difference. Instead of hearing about old friends when I was older I went through all that my whole life, now around age 40. Friends overdosing, ex girlfriends and friends committing suicide, others dying in war, death or disability from early age cancer or illness, death from drunk driving, overdoses. Some in prison, some that should be in prison lol. Some of this poo deserved, some of it just happening on its own will. No patterns or reasoning to a lot of it. The older I get the more I realize ‘luck’ or what you will call it actually has a poo ton to do with how you’re life will go, I’ve always been an intrinsically motivated ‘manifest destination’ fellow but I would be ignorant to say some truly get a bad hand and at the same time, some truly get a lucky hand. I don’t take credit as much as I used to for a decent shot at life. I’d say easily over 75% of the people I knew aren’t doing so hot. Such is life, take advantage and be thankful for everything you got and don’t sweat the small stuff.
  6. if 2022 is a wash due to suspension and you’re already ‘all in’ with draft picks, what exactly the harm? Afraid after almost two seasons of sitting he’ll suck? A hypothetical new victim coming forward? Afraid Watson will say f this two years in? Where is the issue here? I am not following.
  7. Nope. Draft a qb. If the line is as solid as it seems on paper, would be great to get the rookie experience, high pick even if he is decent learning (jags). If he doesn’t work out draft again ala Cardinals. Let’s find the future. But I wouldn’t be mad. New coaching regimen next year means their guy. I could see either route.
  8. you guys are creepy good lord it’s been three years…it’s not cam get over it it’s coming to play for a college coaching treating men like pee wee football and backing it up with 5 wins this is business, you just don’t volunteer to be lead by a fugtard that has no idea what he’s doing, it will literally derail your career and you will digress…it’s literally the blueprint example the Browns have set for decades despite how they treated players
  9. 100%, this guy is GOOD may sound funny for just a punter but if you’ve watched him he is beast, he will constantly pin the other team back love it
  10. Nahh, olineman very hard to judge 1 year is excellent, what was stupid is the two year trash olineman last year if he performs, pay him when we actually have the cash and it won’t prevent more signings these structures/length are just as import to me and they have been excellent, I’m tired of getting stuck with trash on contracts like Paradis for example
  11. Yea might want to sit and watch first -offensive lineman are extremely hard to judge how did Norwell do after leaving? Turner? What about Okung, he was great wasn't he? What happened with that? R Kalil and the Jets? some olineman for whatever reason really start to suck when they’re paid or when they go to another team, it’s like they know their bodies are done or they had success and it’s time to go downhill with a paycheck do you really think if winning is their priority and they have options the Panthers make sense? i will forever be skeptical of FA olineman…but I know to just wait and see
  12. 230 guaranteed plus massive pick overall big part of me believes watson is just fleecing the nfl…doesn’t want live in cold and far from home not to mention winning anything with a historical bad franchise albeit better lately but just a tad…the irony of being put through the ringer by gold diggers lol he doesn’t care about winning come on
  13. even JR hired people to help his ineptness. when JR outdos you, consider yourself a fail
  14. the minute you slobbering cam Stan’s started filling seats, claiming playoffs and saying Tepper was doing you right despite continuing to lose, when all he did was sign a worthless cam to a worthless team and waste cap space, to achieve exactly that reaction, he immediately saw this fanbase for what they are i don’t put the blame on him at all continuing to try and play the fanbase tbh we lifers told you so last year but you didn’t want to hear it
  15. Agreed, it’s very dangerous to do conduct business with emotional people.
  16. it’s baffling to me people still think there is any chance he comes here, people must be really bored or really fuging stupid
  17. yea this will be monumentally damaging to our culture and utterly demoralize our perennial 5 win team
  18. What I’d add is that teams who want Watson will likely be looking at 2023. I feel a half a season suspension is reasonable to believe since Rothlisburger had two cases, both civil, and served a 6 game suspension. 8 games for 22 cases, is not unfathomable. With this in mind, things become easier. Trading or letting guys go to make room and plan for 2023 is probably is not that big of a deal - a fire sale is an easier pill to swallow knowing you’re already more or less giving up 2022 season for a new franchise QB, and will be planning ahead with a cap growth in mind. That will be a factor imo.
  19. We will have all the INTs but at least more production with Mayfield. You could probably win with an elite team around Baker…but even that won’t save you from Darnold. I say f all that and draft a rookie, if he fails it won’t be that big of a deal. Hell you might even get the first pick like the Jags and can take a legit qb next draft. If only we’d be smart draft olineman + supporting case and start PJ giving us the first pick next year.
  20. that’s what we call a criminal thinking error - it’s not human nature, this is just justification by generalization POS for jaywalking isn’t the same, if you think it’s normal for everyone to be a POS of this level well you probably are yourself and want to feel better about it, and yea you probably shouldn’t point a finger in reality there are plenty of people who aren’t on this level as hard as that may be to accept
