  1. He is better than average but he is not Rodgers better level…not as close as his money makes him seem. At what point do these QBs start to think what kind of team they’re going to be surrounded with by eating that much cap, and take less to win more games? I know Brady did it but it’s extremely rare.
  2. not sure if you know what the word ‘blindly’ means…
  3. Arm talent? Who fuging cares? Darnold has an impressive arm. And yet he’s trash. That isn’t the issue because that isn’t what makes a QB. In fact it’s not even top of the list. Just dumb. I think Baker will be trash too but it’s be nice to hear some quality analysis instead of look at me throw this pile of poo and get clicks from the masses.
  4. stop being a flaccid penis, this is all we have to be happy about…enjoy it
  5. can someone who doesn’t want to overpay inform me what the panthers have other than money and why in the world would a decent player come here if he wasn’t getting paid?
  6. anyone who pays a settlement and/or non disclosures should be dragged through the mud, 100% considered guilty, and get ridiculed as such it’s the only way to discourage this garbage it dumbfounds me how ndas and settlements work and basically give people a pass from not only the legal system but the perception of society this should be worse if not equal than a guilty sentence imo money>facts
  7. fish still have random spasms shortly after dying, I think you meant potato
  8. I have two issues with Baker, first, I don’t really see him as a game manager. He’s going to take those risks. Which means he’ll flop or (similarity to a game manager) be surrounded with a good enough team to win. But unlike a game manager he will lose you games. He will win you games too, but they’ll be messy, require a team, and that may not be enough. Second, the injury for obvious reasons. This whole idea of a bad personality is overblown just like cam imo. What ironic is it seems to come from our resident cam Stan’s who should seemingly understand. But Baker isn’t cam. The Browns shafted him (probably blind sided) and then tainted him when he spoke out. For a sexual predator facing suspension. That’s pretty low. All after he took them out of the gutter which was probably extremely hard. You think cam got no thanks send off? This was on another level. Cam has said similar things, even worse things. Who the fug cares. Now I think he’ll suck but come in and win is all I care about just like with cam, Panthers fans can handle the drama if you ball out….see also Steve smith.
  9. yep, right on. to compete with that, Panthers will need a top defense on the field. Just like players in the past with similar stats/traits… a la Tannenhill, Favre to a greater extent etc.
  10. some of you all get way too emotional over dumb poo, I’d love Payton…even when his best players go down his team stays competitive it’s true it’s rare success follows again and that’s the only knock imo but as of now we have idiot Rhule pacing the sidelines and I’d wager there are more worse options than better ones. at the very least he’d build an offense, he’d bring competent coaches with him, no super bowl maybe but he’d give us winning seasons and playoffs, the chance would be there, most of all he’d establish a competitive/winning culture you guys know we’ve won an average of like 5 games in 5 years right? we are identical to the jets right? we are in bottom third of W/L since inception yea? why tf are you all so picky? Lol sign me up
  11. Trade one of those super bowl loses for a NFC champ loss (a single game) and you basically have the Jets, even within a seasons worth of games W/L % wise. There is no a team closer in resemblance in these factors than the Jets other than maybe the Jags. Do you think the Jets and Jags are decent teams? Not being the Browns isn’t a plus. Neither is literally only having a few teams to say that about. The Panthers barley squeeze out of the bottom 5…of 32 teams all things considered, since 1995. I mean yea we aren’t 32-27 so I guess there’s that.
  12. at some point it becomes either or
  13. I think the defense was overrated. Shaq played above expectations and I don’t expect a repeat. Reddick is gone. Strong feeling Brown still digging in his ass on the line. And Horn is still an unknown. I feel the defense will overachieve if they play to last years’ level but I don’t see how they are going to compete with that dline. Regardless, this defense doesn’t feel saavy enough for me. It’s missing that key price and is going to be flimsy imo. We will see.
  14. Or he could you know just keep his mouth shut and work on himself. Do you honestly think Robby ever thought once in his life he looked stupid or like an idiot? Yea that’s his issue. It’s why he continues to open his mouth while sucking ass which is why he gets picked on. Everyone gets hyped when a person like Smitty opens his mouth for a reason. Robby is just a bonafide idiot. But I do feel sorry for him, because he’s on a level where he doesn’t even know better.
  15. Sorry but lol you can’t see this is the new Browns? This thread is on cue, why not just bump last years Tep is incompetent and Rhule isn’t doing poo this year. When Tep hires someone capable to make the right decisions, including not going with retreads which may mean having a bad season, absolutely nothing will change it really dumbfounds me threads like this are still made after a half decade of purgatory, my lord
  16. And yet when Cam got literally got almost identical criticism it’s really because ?. Too bad Baker doesn't have that excuse. So logic says this must be legit.
  17. Wrong, we have experienced it under Richardson. It was just usually more short lived. One win isn’t competitive, something like 80% of NFL games are close so not sure what you means. Usually it was short lived. However the longest period of embarrassment has been matched by Tepper in his first several years and if he flunks this year, he will logically be solidified as worse than JR which I never thought I’d ever say. Not only that, but it’s pretty much a lock for us to be the new Browns. We only have a couple competitors and they’re looking better as of now. We just need to sit back and hope Tepper some day realizes he doesn’t know wtf he is doing and hire someone who can make better decisions.
  18. I do agree the price was right. But it’s not one mistake. I feel giving a coach making the wrong moves more ammo at the detriment of the team to be the dumbass move here personally, when the obvious one is to move on from said coach. And the team an fans suffer all the same. It’s not demanding they start, it’s demanding results with the resources given and recognizing it wouldn’t be a bright idea to allow someone to use more to make more mistakes. Yes the price was low but was Watson’s? I mean let’s be real, Teddy, Sam, Watson…we’re really idiotic moves. We really are just throwing poo against the wall for year 5 now. Is tanking one year REALLY considered making everyone suffer competitively speaking? I say no. But as I said price was right. I don’t hate the move I just hate we are always looking to make these moves year after year after year.
  19. Force Rhule? Rhule declared to everyone he could win with Darnold by trading high draft picks and then signing his option before he even took a snap. If he isn’t ever held accountable for those decisions how long with this Teddy/Sam/Baker circus last? Granting Rhule his wish and then having him follow through is force?
  20. I don’t think that’s true at all. Cam wanted a new contract and probably wasn’t playing without one. He said he wanted commitment. It would have probably cost more to give him one especially if we were stuck with him now after two garbage seasons. That’s a lot of money. But yea giving up draft picks sucks. The biggest failure is refusing to allow the team to hit rock bottom. Tepper cannot buy his team, I don’t think he realized that. This team should’ve been preparing to replace Cam long ago. There is a lot that could and should have been done. I don’t think resigning Cam was one of them just because what came next shouldn’t have been done either. Cam got humbled real quick going to FA realizing no one really wanted him. Which is still true today.
  21. Because people want him to come in and save the franchise and disregard any kind of logic that says the odds and stacked against him. Or just be ok if he is a decent backup. This team still desperately needs a blue chip talent and until it takes its lumps and stop fuging going over retreads clawing at 5-8 win seasons, it will never happen.
  22. The Bengals were an anomaly in so many categories in NFL history, comparatively speaking, it would make your brain explode trying to understand. and since anything resembling that happens are every 15-20 years, I’m not sure we’re next after it just happened. But hey, there is hope I suppose to be that team in the next two decades!
  23. Madden is trash for a more realistic experience might I suggest
