  1. invisible player that was part of Rhule’s invisible success
  2. It guarantees your best chance at success to find a qb in the draft long as you don’t have idiots in the FO because you have all options. It’s insanely hard to believe a franchise QB won’t come out of the 2022 draft.
  3. 5-6 more wins? No thanks. Delaying the inevitable rebuild is literally putting this franchise in purgatory. The worst stretch in almost 30 years of existence. Why the hell would you keep doing the same fuging poo and rolling over coaches and Fit? It’s not ordinary because it doesn’t work. This franchise isn’t special. We desperately need a reset. And the best man for the job aren’t people already here, that is asinine.

  5. dunno, I’m glad Brady didn’t SIMP for some super model who wanted him to retire and he didn’t want to - good for him. she probably had zero idea how to handle not getting what she wanted. unfortunately he’s about to get fuged by the outdated family/divorce justice system tho some of you guys sound like you’d do anything for ass, it’s pathetic
  6. bro do you even watch football, do you what the stat % is for a 1-5 team to make the playoffs? it’s like .2% or some crazy poo lol we failed at tanking and this thread is accurate. unless you meant a lot of games left to lose which is true but when an oline really starts to gel like it has been it can get you a win or two alone off the run game isn’t it ironic the oline finally got its head out of its ass when everyone else’s is playing like Butt? Man if that poo doesn’t define this franchise
  7. and we had no one good enough to take advantage of that fact. Including coaching. that’s the real problem.
  8. people are just happy to know what it likes to win but the more tape other teams have to prepare, I have a feeling this team is going to get manhandled. Picking 5-10 really is the worst, not enough to build on and you get leftovers of top talent. I mean that’s what we’ve don for three years straight and yet here we are.
  9. Wrong, that was a purposeful tank. JR signed cheap fodder to fill in holes and resigned no one that coated anything but pennies. It was a business tank but tank nonetheless in every sense. Colts tanked for Luck. It doesn’t always have to be a super bowl to work and you still need a competent FO. Two ways to build a team, build an elite one and plug in good vet. Second, draft a good qb and build decent team around him during rookie contact. This is the blueprint for literally almost every winning team outside some exceptions. Two issues with the FA argument. 1. We do not have an elite team to plug in someone and not importantly 2. A worthwhile FA vet does not sign with a trash team like the Panthers for…well many reasons. I mean this literally was just done last year. Applies to coaches as well which again, was literally done just last year. SO, it’s painfully obviously the only path up is to DRAFT. And anyone who has watched football for a while knows this. I am very happy we are finally tanking 4 years late, though I will miss the 5 moral victories every year. Not.
  10. Corral is a backup at best once he develops as I’ve been saying. But ultimately who cares? You don’t designate someone just because - the coach will put in who looks best in camp.
  11. Exactly lol…and might not even be good, Unless Burns is causing drama behind the scenes demanding to get out, this would be incredibly stupid. He will likely end this year with his best stats yet, thanks to Brown, so his value won’t drop. Picks attract coaching candidates but so do you proven commodities with still a year to play on a 5th year contract. In other words let the new coach decide, Burns can always be traded later. Unless of course he gets injured.
  12. lol the 49ers didn’t give all that up for a RB they have a competent staff and CMC will be used more like a wr than a hb he can also block and he will cause mismatches and gaps I’m not mad about the trade and it was a good deal, but it was a good deal because the Panthers are incompetent and we’re wasting cmc not because cmc is just a HB feel free to pay attention what he’ll be doing in San Fran it will once again make this franchise look stupid just like the Bills have done the last half decade and he will likely stay healthy too since they won’t use him like the second coming of Jerome Bettis
  13. Just want the right people to be picking the right people. Owner>consultant>GM>HC>OC/DC That is what we need. What we’ve had: Owner>rehired/fired GM>HC>OC/DC>OCx2>HC>PuppetGM>Owner>HCx2>fired HCs puppetGM/owner>new HC? I mean really what in the fug is this poo? Is Tepper even aware enough to realize this alone makes him a laughing stock joke in the NFL?
  14. i remember just two years ago when we were sitting pretty looking at this you’d think we just made a run or something not looking back at multiple 5 wins and ahead to a 1-16 season fug Tepper
  15. Did you enjoy the Cam era? Because that was a tank. I’m sure the Colts also enjoyed the Luck era, yet another result of a tank. No it doesn’t always work, you do need competent people and FO personnel making these decisions. No one is asking professional athletes to roll over. They will still be asked to do their job. But this isn’t pee wee football, the NFL has bigger picture and long term values. What does a moral victory give you? Would you rather have a franchise QB or the win over Saints third stringers in 2018? A losing mentality for tanking a year isn’t a disease. Trying to win and failing year and year is. Big difference. Absolutely not one player next year with a new coach and stroud are the helm is going to remember tanking in 2022 and give two shits.
  16. Please pay attention, that’s not where we are. We are trying to win more than five games and get back to mediocrity.
  17. This is where people get it wrong. It’s a sacrifice for a long term, winning strategy. That’s a winner’s mentality. Ever play chess? Cause sounds like you’re over there playing checkers with TB, Darnold, and Baker thinking that’s a winner’s mentality.
  18. ‘Anticipates being involved’ LMAO as expected, the first failure of the new regimen has been exposed, keeping Fit. Because Rhule’s yes man alp happens to be the most qualified for the job. Wouldn’t you know it, what a coincidence. No self respecting g talented GM would stand for not picking the HC. Take note, these are signs of bad things to come. Tepper has NOT learned his lesson.
  19. Yes because any self aware person looks at the outcome of the past five years and still thinks he is capable and needs to be involved. What a fuging god damn moron.
  20. It weird to me anyone takes what any FO personnel, coach or owner says to the media at face value even in just the slightest.
  21. Sooooo this inept franchise has wasted generational talent in cam, Luke, and now cmc…who’s next to die with the modern browns? Horn? Brown? Maybe our first overall? I can hardly contain myself waiting to find out.
  22. Shaq and Moore could go. Kind of tired of seeing half ass effort and giving up if there is no separation from Moore. Not to mention his hospital blocking sometimes. He also disappears anywhere near the end zone. Kind of expensive for all that. He is still decent and does make plays that aren’t TDs so meh I guess. I wouldn’t by any means call him a building block though. Shaq is just overpaid and needs to go. We need to just eat that mistake. Otherwise I agree with the rest.
  23. It definitely doesn’t matter for the Panthers and I agree the trade was acceptable. Considering his pay and injuries…a first would’ve been great but this is second best. I think fans mad are missing the actual depressing point - we wasted cmc and did nothing while he was here because we are such an awful franchise. That’s the true depressing fact in all this.
  24. I thought about that. But I see and would bet Burns getting better or at least keeping on par for the rest of the season, especially with Brown now stepping it up. This would mean (easily) coming off a double digit sack season, so I don’t see his value plummeting. Plus what the new HC wants really should be priority. While I love the idea of stacking picks, key pieces are still needed and a bonus to attract candidates.
  25. Yea so, the new HC will be here soon enough, let him make the call imo. You’re risking injury and whatever trade is on the table now of course but that’s really it. I think the biggest risk is the new HC wanting to have him and not attracting said HC by trading him away.
