  1. Multidimensional. To not have just one strength, one plan, and be completely shut down if your one way of winning doesn’t work. Wilks is a Rivera/Fox clone problem is he’s not even as good as them in that sense. My suggestion is for a lot of people around here to watch his stint with the Cardinals without finding a million excuses, because he also has excuses this year but how’s he preformed despite them is the argument for keeping him…so that doesn’t really make sense to me to reverse that logic.
  2. I’m not knocking Wilks for the schedule, I’m simply pointing out he has won vs. only 1 team with a winning record, and a winning record of only 1 game at that. He has also lost to every single decent team we have played this year (by decent I don’t mean Seahawks or Lions, I mean we’ll rounded playoff caliber). For some reason some thinks this is the future. I’m not asking Wilks to do the impossible, but there has been zero flashes of a potential modern head coach candidate. He is reverting to co trolling the clock and running it which works well vs. poor teams. However there are no flashes of greatness. No adjustments. No scheming. Everything is very safe and when it doesn’t work, we might as well give up because poo won’t change (see Steelers game). No signs at all of greatness, just better than Rhule.
  3. How many of those 7 wins are from winning teams and how many of those losses are from losing teams? Ah, and now it all makes sense.
  4. Unless you win that first playoff game and prove you belong to be there, it means nothing in this trash division and Wilks hasn’t proved anything other than he is better than Rhule. New HC, best available, from a consensus of hired scouts/consults and from the new GM. Fitt isn’t it, sorry, needs to go. If there is a franchise QB in the draft, you trade up and get him. Resign Bozeman and keep this line together. Spend a high value pick on the Dline especially without a franchise QB there (but I find that hard to believe). Next up a LB/WR. Those are musts, draft or FA. Profit. None of that will happen though because genius Tepper will outsmart the NFL again by thinking the best candidates for HC and GM also just so happen to miraculously already be here. It’s truly a miracle. If Tepper hired consults, none of them would say Wilks and Fit are the best for the job, let that sink in. So we will likely repeat what is happening albeit with a more mediocre record, fighting for .500 every year. Unfortunately Tepper sees an upgrade just like our fans because of Rhule, and mainly because he really has no clue what he’s doing. Especially if we start going after and overpaying FA QBs and remain adamant for some reason not to draft one with actual first round talent and develop potentially worthwhile talent. Now if we get in the playoffs without Horn and beat Dallas, I will be 100% be on the Wilks train. However I would bet a very large sum of money that does not happen.
  5. remember when we played the Raiders/Carr and Zod said Will Grier was the better qb? lol good times
  6. Tepper needs to take a long look in the mirror and admit he does not possess the judgment or ability to call shots like he has been and humble himself to looking for help. That includes NOT being lazy and sticking with wilks barring a playoff win. Because he likely isn’t the answer. The sooner he does that the quicker we can turn around. He is inept. he’s solidified the worst stretch in franchise history. One more move like Rhule and you can bet the culture will engrained itself and there will be a point of no return. The browns have done it, lions too. And at that point, it’s incredibly hard to turn things around.
  7. according to the last 26 years of Panther fandom, this calculation is accurate and the most probable outcome.
  8. Brady could give two fugs at this point guys seriously he is the goat and will be talked about for the next century or two just accept it, beating him at 45 after seven rings I mean… a win over the cowboys would make me infinitely more excited
  9. The issue is it’s one dimensional. The Steelers just stacked the box and shut it down. Oline got confused and Darnold got sacked and shook up. Darnold making poor decisions despite having an elite arm, and our receivers being trash not able to get separation consistently can easily be exploited by playoff caliber teams. Thats the issue. Once those roll outs y Darnold are shut down along with stacking the box Wilks won’t be able to ‘throw it all over the place’ even when defenses are playing man and leaving huge gaps. And that’s a problem. Superior coaches like Tomlin will dismantle that.
  10. That is ass backwards to me I was just thinking records. Guess I should thank the Eagles. but I’ll still have to fly. However I won’t have to deal trash of NFL fans so this is excellent.
  11. as a more or less poor franchise there is only so much we can remember fondly generally speaking the panthers are awful, Darnold is a backup and wilks is a lame duck dinosaur. all the Steelers did was stack the box and shut down this one dimensional team and easily shake up Darnold, and if they make the playoffs you can 100% believe that’s exactly what will happen. the panthers will get annihilated. There however I will be flying to Dallas to watch it because it’s all I have, and I know damn well I am going to deal with the trash of the universe oh and fug Tepper, you can expect more awful moves to come from that man guaranteed
  12. For real where are all those peeps giving me poo for saying he was the best qb on the roster beginning of the season? I was adamantly told the worst oline and no cmc didn’t matter while baker sucked with a top oline and cmc lol looks like it actually did matter. Sam looks like a legit back up now.
  13. i mean we just traded an elite receiver to SF
  14. For anyone that still cares, here’s the breakdown. I’ve been on the tank train but since we won’t get a top QB…this is all we have left; The Buccaneers remain the leader to clinch the division with three weeks remaining and will make the playoffs if they win their final three games (at Arizona, vs. Carolina, at Atlanta). The Panthers, who fired coach Matt Rhule on Oct. 10 after a 1-4 start, have an advantage over the Saints and Falcons because of tiebreakers. If they win their final three games (vs. Detroit, at Tampa Bay, at New Orleans), they’ll have swept the Buccaneers and will win the division. The Falcons would be eliminated from wild-card contention if they lose next week, but could remain alive in the division race. The Falcons need to win their final three games (at Baltimore, vs. Arizona, vs. Tampa Bay); they also need the Buccaneers to lose their final three games, the Panthers to lose to the Saints and Lions and the Saints to lose to the Browns and Eagles. The Saints could make the playoffs at 7-10 (as long as they beat the Panthers). They would need the Buccaneers to lose their final three games, the Panthers to lose to the Lions and the Falcons to lose to either the Ravens or the Cardinals. https://www.espn.com/blog/new-orleans-saints/post/_/id/35846/heres-a-breakdown-of-the-chaotic-nfc-south-heading-into-playoffs?platform=amp
  15. Wait people didn’t already know this? You guys know there is an entire season of evidence prior to this no?
  16. All bad teams need a HC. That’s not an issue. The worst thing about coming here is dealing with an owner who has NO clue and does dumbass poo like chase after Watson and trades all your poo away. Among a billion other things. As Sean Payton said, a good coach with options will not go to a dysfunctional franchise or sometime like that. That was after he was asked the same question about bad teams and gave the same, any team needing a HC will need help. So it’s not being bad it’s being dysfunctional and the panthers are a literally, living and breathing example of that.
  17. Uh what? Try googling ‘beinemey’s past’. If he was not a minority he wouldn’t even have a job depending if you want to keep it real or not.
  18. enjoy your glorious 2-3 moral wins we straight up traded for a franchise QB and hope Darnold or PJ steps it up next season lol
  19. let it go bro, we are playing tribisky and the 5-8 Steelers with nothing to play for why the fug you all trying to put yourselves through the misery of a legit playoff team match at 6-11 or whatever lol
  20. this is basically what happens when fox ball fails. there’s no adjustment. keep forcing poo.
  21. offensive play makes sense since it came form someone who didn’t have a coaching job when hired. I mean I guess this is a lesson some need to learn…tepper
  22. someone run over and give that guy a panthers jersey and cleats lmao
  23. y u all actin Darnold and Wilks not being the answer is shocking tho?
  24. excellent, was looking for ideas for my time capsule thx
  25. To put this very simply - this was a settlement to avoid liability/lawsuits. That doesn’t mean at all the premise for wrong doing wasn’t there, in fact quite the obvious for the basic reason that people in the right don’t settle. Why would they? It would cost a poo ton less even with the best lawyers to prove you’re in the right legally. In fact, probably 5% or less. But some here can’t read between lines and think a savvy businessman who’s made financial decisions with otherworldly precision his whole life said fug that I will pay 95% more than I have to because ?…THE Rock Hill SC politicians and media? Lol Y’all must live a rough and confusing life. And he’s still under investigation for fraud which unless there is a go getter straight shooter running that (and anyone above him as well), will probably be paid off (or has in a way, already).
