  1. we already have those issues minus the first round pick lol
  2. Because he isn’t a real GM just like Rhule isn’t a real NFL coach. And when he is fired along with Reich and his bottom dwelling coaches at the bottom of his list with no options in three years with zero results, Fit will also be gone. And then some of you will be gasping despite being told right now, just like before, it’ll happen.
  3. Tepper has created a near impossible scenario for coaches. No one wants to be hired by his wife and play for Rhule’s GM lmao not to mention a losing, bottom dwelling franchise with no QB and an owner that has shown he doesn’t have the first clue as to how things work.
  4. Y’all don’t get it. This franchise CAN’T. No one wants to come here. From players to coaches. Just like last year. Just like I said would happen and got shitted on. This is ALL a result of becoming the new Browns, and engrained losing culture. I have never seen so many players and coaches refuse to play for this franchise than with dumbass Tepper.
  5. This years’ swap, both seconds and next years’ first and possibly second - minimum. Which I’d be in favor for. If it’s 2025’s first as well, I’d be hesitant but anything less, pull the trigger. If the scouts are all in agreement, get it done. Could also add a player in to keep from touching the 2025 pick, which again I’d be in favor for. I didn’t always think this way but I firmly believe high value coaches and players cringe seeing Tepper, his wife, and Rhule’s hired GM. Clearly this team is going no where without trading some value for someone, no worthwhile FA is coming here. It needs to be correct and calculated and I would prefer it be in the draft.
  6. Even so the point remains he can’t just hire him. He has to interview other people, and legally, a minority. And yet people get mad that these interviews are not sincere. Get mad at an owner for already knowing who he wants. It doesn’t make sense. That’s the rule. Be mad at that. People would still be mad unless he hired a minority, then none of this would be a story. That’s the premise though. That’s the problem that’s being perpetuated. You cannot tell a person you already know you are going to hire and it isn’t them but you need to interview them anyways as you suggested. That is illegal even outside the NFL. And being of another race too? poo. Wilks’ lawyers would have a field day with that.
  7. Up front with Wilks? And say what? We already know who we want but due to NFL rules we need to interview a minority. Say that to a dude already suing a team? Yea sounds real smart. The NFL needs to get rid of the dumb rule it causes more harm than good, and they also need to take the blame/lawsuits for the idiocy, not teams conducting meaningless interviews just because they’re required. The funny thing is I bet you all I own Tepper may of knew who he wanted but had no clue it would turn into this dumb poo fest because it truly wasn’t based on malice or racism, and he was caught off guard. The man who hired his wife. Had/has the first transgender cheerleader. Who had Reid on the team. That’s the laughable bullshit world we live in today. People are fuging dumb. And this is coming from probably the most vocal Tepper hater on this board. If this gave me more ammo, I’d be all about it. But there simply isn’t anything here.
  8. he means that Reich was known to be the HC and who Tep wanted to hire all along but because he cannot just flat out hire who he wanted to and needed to jump through hoops and satisfy anti racist rules that heals people of racism, and did jump through those hoops but was not sincere about it and cured of his racist ways by seeing his error in wanting Reich and hiring Wilks, he is clearly a racist and needs to be sued
  9. Lol my oh my has Tepper and Rhule’s dumbassery rubbed off on fans…thinking there is so sort of cheat code and we just need to make the right trade lmao if we wanted fields we should’ve drafted him but now you want to add two seconds to what we would’ve given? What in the blood hell NO. draft a qb already, that is the best way forward
  10. Aside from Wilks’ ineptness only beating bad teams, losing a game to make the playoffs, making asinine comments blaming the players or you’d have a better record, is a dinosaur defensive coach, no one else in the nfl had interest, or the fact he thought PJ was better than Darnold and obviously can’t evaluate the most important position on the field. I ask this serious question…. If you know who you’d like to hire/employee to run your company but are required to preform an incidental pre requisite before doing so, how exactly do you do so in earnest?
  11. Doesn’t matter. This franchise can’t utilize a player like that, completely inept. Better to have the picks while our masterminds figure out how to have a winning season, which may not be for quite a while until Tep takes his hands off. Ironically, just like SanFran.
  12. how can there be any malice when God clearly wanted things to end up like this?
  13. yea when you think PJ is better than Darnold, not sure you can handle calling the shots
  14. Actually he doesn’t if you haven’t noticed his whiney bitch fest tantrum he is throwing right now. I did appreciate him stepping up in a shitstorm even though he isn’t HC material but after this BS he/his team is insinuating. I despise Tepper but he is one of the most progressive owners (first trans cheerleader, Reid etc). If Reich was going to be it all along so the fug what. How can he simply hire who he wants without making a minority going through the motions to satisfy a dumb rule? He literally can’t. Wilks should be suing the NFL for their rule.
  15. Yea I think the whole mid to late first round pick was some bullshit. It’s two firsts minimum imo. And as much as I’d love it, just too much.
  16. and here we go, trying to hype yourselves up for the new HC. go and watch actual games he failed and see how/why they unfold, it’s not that hard.
  17. admittedly I did not watch much of the eagles just his stint with the Colts. And I saw trying to force an offensive game plan that worked at first, but not after the other team adjusted, over and over and over. it was pretty brutal and frustrating could be that he was overwhelmed calling the offensive plays…or that he had a garbage carrousel at qb perhaps if the Panthers trade up and get a QB things will be different, I love stroud but actually think Young might be better for Reich
  18. Scheming yes, which I’d agree. But adjustments? No.
  19. Not to mention trading for Wentz because…Jesus. How’s that work out? Dumb. Before you all get giddy and force yourselves to look at the positives, let’s remember how excited you were about Rhule too. Reich can create an offensive scheme and plays I’ll give him that but if he doesn’t have any willingness to adapt, it’s worthless.
  20. Have you even watched Reich? He is the offensive version of Fox/Rivera, he will stubbornly stick with a gameplan and the same plays no matter what. The scheme will not change, there will be no adjustments, and there will not be exploiting of mismatches. Thats ‘man vs. man’ football ideology that comes from the 90s.
  21. Jesus is this really our bar. I mean he is offense and you do have to wonder how many saw Rhule’s hired GM standing there with Tep and his wife and immediately was like damn, f this. I’d have to imagine probably the better candidates that had the most options. Makes logical sense. eh guess we will see. Hope the DC is good.
  22. Yep. In typical huddle fashion, this will be a feel good thread. With more from Zod to follow about why he was after all the best HC to hire and how we will be in the SB soon. And a full off-season of delusional fans hyping themselves up and poo on the ‘room and gloomers’ only to be let down once again despite the writing already on the fuging wall for non casual, long time fans. The amazing part is people seems to lose all memory until next hire and it starts all over again lol. Guess we will have to wait another half decade to have a chance to get to the modern age.
  23. Literally would not be surprised. Just the fact him and his wife are the ones interviewing is terrifying. It’s like having someone with a billion points on their $1k/month car insurance and several totaled cars as your cab driver.
  24. Circumstantial and luck. Statistically, first round qbs are more successful. There is no point here. You going to compare Hurts, Wilson, Brady, Carr, Prescott and now Purdy to basically all qbs taken in the first for the past twenty years? Because that’s what this is implying, and we don’t even know if Hurts and Purdy are long term. Those are the only good qbs I can think of after round 1 in a long time. There are probably a few more over that period but it won’t compare to the first rounders. Take out round two and those numbers are almost non existent. I get his point though, especially about scouts being lazy, but given how few franchise qbs go after round one or even round two, that’d take a poo lots of time to try and find/scout, like a needle in a haystack. High rounds (1,2) still offer your best bet.
  25. I mean I can find those with Hurney too. It’s just articles, where’s the experience? Fact is he was hired by Rhule, and there are signs all over that he isn’t qualified.I wish our fans would be more weary of coaches and FO hires that have literally no interest outside of this team. Any GM can can do contracts, that’s like a basic qualification. We need someone who can hire a HC and structure a winning roster. If you wanna say I support throwing Fit (poo) against a wall, fine. But let’s not act like there isn’t better, known options that could be scouted. The coach, especially a college one, doesn’t hire the GM. That’s asinine. And inexperienced owners usually look for consulting to do so. Not to their wife. Like I said the signs are there, if you feel like seeing them, or just look at evidence or lack thereof. Articles are nice too I suppose. From what I understand you cannot interview a GM without firing your current one first. Tepper tried to do this a couple years ago with an Eagles up a comer while retaining Hurney and got denied by Philly. And laughed at for being an idiot owner. But if he fired Fit, and other teams give permission in some cases (which they normally do), it’d be allowed.
