Seattle is fuging awesome. Aiming to move there in the next 5 years. I thought I’d be the type for rural living, nope, it’s so fuging boring. Some people love it though. Ideally you’d live on some land with a 30 minutes drive to the city, best of all worlds.

I’ve said it before but I really like what the Jets are doing, and the Dolphins for that matter, though to a lesser extent. Dolphins invested in the oline. And actually have a ton of great pieces to work with. The head coach has winning experience and I think he’s decent. Jets finally pulled their head of their ass. They’re not on the brink like the Dolphins but their moves building the foundation has been spot on. Cliche yes, Rome want built in a day, but their moving in the right direction. Great head coach pick up. Laslty they both have a ton of capital to start picks and cap. In comparison, Rhul/Fit walked into the most dead money in the league and no extra picks, with a stud DE, RB, and RT that’s it lol.

We were average in pass defense last year, it really wasn’t too much of an issue. Though interceptions certainly were. We have good pass rush too, get to the QB quite a bit, but have trouble closing the deal. Which isn’t the worst. I call it up to experience. Both those things will no doubt be improved. Run defense…was atrocious. It was the reason teams got all those third down conversions. The chance was in their favor to get a first if they just ran in 3 times according to the average..4.7, third worst in the league. When the opposing team knows this, and the fact you aren’t intercepting it, they’ll eat you alive with short passes and running it. And that’s what happened. And it still appears we struggle against the run game. Fix that, and this is a legit defense without a doubt.

Did the Steelers have any defensive starters on the field at all? I don’t remember any but I’m not familiar with their team.

Lol definitely having Amini/Byron/Nate flashbacks add in a washed up injured Paradis… i assume we will be throwing in a blocking TE constantly even vs. the standard 4 dlineman hell maybe even 3 which will limit the offense but we do have playmakers but good lord this is a grade A trash oline, would be A+ without Moton.

All I know is if he ends up here and if the fans get fuged due to his legal issues and what was given up, every single fan of this team will (and should) be furious with Tepper and want him gone. Of course I cannot think he would possibly be that stupid and a lot of stipulations would be in place.

He played second/third stringers…is not to like.

One of the best legs I have ever seen but just can’t get his accuracy down. For the record Slye’s first two years are on par with the first two years of some of the best kickers in the league. It’s matter of if he can get it together or not and if anyone wants to give home the chance and more importantly the time which is a huge ask/risk for the kicker position. I think we need someone more reliable even if they have absolutely no chance at making a 60 yarder.

you might get poo for that but it’s the truth. however a small amount of hope remains in that it is extremely hard to judge a qb on this team with the mini traffic cones we call the oline

It was pretty bad, there was a lot of pressure playing vs. backups. I honestly have no answer as to why they put a bottom third oline out there year after year when no one has gone in the deep plays for literally decades with that.

The oline is just atrocious year after year and nothing happens. Darnold hasn’t looked better than TB. Defense looks legit. This looks like a repeat of last season + 1-2 more wins.

I am not impressed. Honestly, this looks a lot like last years’ offense. Lord help us.

I loathe players when it all of a sudden ‘clicks’ come payday. Hurney fell for it every single time. The Panthers have been fuged royally for year due to this reason.

A gunslinger, meaning he just lobs the ball up. I added true to that as that is his (only) plus aka as said, arm strength. He is a prototypical gun slinger. Just let’s it go and has his receivers fight for it. Kind of reminds me of a poor man’s Winston. And I can’t think of many successful QBs with that style. Marino, Favre…Stafford maybe….

Just spoke with a hardcore Denver fan the other day, they’re all over in Utah. He said the same thing. Lock just bombed it and is a true gunslinger but that’s about it and his accuracy was horrible. To the point he was just lobbing it up all the time. Broncos are very heavily defensive minded and pretty much expect the defense to win their games. I personally think the Broncos know they’re in rebuild mode with the offense, in which case what’s really the harm in letting TB play.

Maybe it’s time to reflect and realize you’re only reading what you want to read. No one on this forum has high/unrealistic expectations for Darnold. Most people post they’ll be ecstatic for 7/8 wins and mainly base that on the team as a whole being better and Darnold being average. And if it started and ended with the QB the Texans would have more than 4 wins last year.

Ehhhhhhh kind of tired of this song and dance yet again. Granted Hurney just said it and did the exact opposite in letting players walk. But he didn’t exactly sign FAs either since he overpaid the wrong players. Being skilled in FA is just as important as the draft. I’d rather hear something like we’ll sign the best player no matter where they come from.

I’m not sure what to think of this tbh. Because if we sign DJ for what he’s worth…that’s a poo ton of money to the WR position. Course we’ll have twenty million in one LB so why not lol
