Hell, they got lucky cmc is back to himself from being injured after getting abused last season as well. Look at Barkley. Injuries are going to happen and I know our oline is straight trash but I think it’s really fuging lazy to gameplan so much (40 carries) with one player, especially considering you have other playmakers that we all saw Sunday, but didn’t see as much with CMC, who can come in and make a difference. Get fuging creative already. All that said, CMC only needed a week to rest? That seems suspicious. I hope the ones in charge are ignoring CMC who is probably itching to get back out there and making sure he’s 100%. He can complain all he wants but I’d rather sit his ass until he’s fully ready and then some.

May not be a popular opinion, but as good as the defense has been and as much resources thrown at it already, I still think it’s missing some pieces, namely run stuffers and another DT. I also think they’re wasting Chinn, so a safety as well. A fast, blitzing team will get burned if there is no other DT like Brown who will just get doubled, to stop the run. But ultimately they have an oline, similar to olines that make the post season. It is otherworldly rare that any oline past the wildcards are ranked below average and play any different than Dallas. If this team wants a shot you have to be able to compete against a good oline.

If true this is good news, I initially thought it was his knee as he landed on it pretty hard, but did not see any kind of limp. This defense without shaq, Horn, or Reddick would not be good at all.

a lot of nfl games aren’t decided by a large margin…just how it is. how many did we almost win last year, almost is getting tiring and yea this team isn’t ready yet… aside from oline a kicker, giving it to cmc 40 time a game will be a great 4 games or so…just like last year This offense needs an oline, depth and more creativity and balance. I mean look at Moore and Anderson this game being utilized…I get the oline sucks but was ignoring them (comparatively speaking) when we did have cmc really necessary? defense is pretty complete but could really use a couple run stuffing specialists all in all I agree not too shabby, but not ready at the same time

Meh, this team will never be relevant with the oline unless they find the next P Manning, doesn’t matter who the quartback is. I see are some going to cling onto the whole ‘buT wE r 3-1!1’ much like they did 3-0 before the game today. Fact is, Panthers won’t beat a good team. I don’ really see a point in debating the qb with the worst oline in the league, we’ve seen since inception of the Panthers, and quite possibly gunning for the NFL record books as a whole.

8-9 is still tending upward. Rhule needs to understand the importance of the oline tho…don’t get me wrong a defense is great but the NFL is geared towards offense and if you’re drafting Christianson in the 3rd and still thinking he’s worse than Erving, worst in the NFL, you should really start thinking about your decisions.

If you’re going to beat a good team you will need 35+ points. This isn’t an enigma, the NFL has made it this way. The fact you still have the worst oline in the NFL while drafting talent with a third rounder just to sit him is baffling.

Eh, it’s not what they do to address the oline that will matter. It’s competency…huge difference. No trophies for trying. Every effort so far has proved complete incompetence which is more concerning that completely ignoring the issue.

I believe that line was ranked 23. This line is literally competing for the worst in the league. It could possibly be the worst in franchise history. That is the line in general though, not individual players.

Won’t matter. The Panthers will not beat a legit team with 31st ranked oline. We’ll get some wins here and there but will not beat a solid team. Hopefully Sam stays healthy.

While getting shat on I continued to elaborate why it is not possible to go to the postseason with even a slightly below average oline. It just hasn’t happened in NFL history and it isn’t going to happen now. Everyone needs to adjust their expectations, it WILL not happen, it has only happened twice since 2000, with P Manning and E Manning, it just won’t happen. All we can hope is Sam (or any qb) can stay healthy until this franchise gets it poo together and hires some help, because they’re clearly not capable at address the line.

Hmmm let’s see our ‘franchise’ qbs, Cam TB and now Sam have been destroyed/injured/rattled by the oline building incompetence. When will it matter? This game is fuging over.
