  1. not that Unpopular, he was great at picking up First Downs. ...his only fault was being Mike Shula's first Read on that god-forsaken play in Seattle... as for my Unpopular Opinion(s) - Wilks owes everything to D'onta Foreman and James Campen. Without them, we dont win any games. - Eric Bieniemy should have been the hire, Not Matt Rhule.
  2. you're kid's gonna be winner !
  3. correct. https://www.nfl.com/news/matt-rhule-on-why-panthers-didn-t-pick-qb-in-draft-i-just-believe-in-sam-darnold "We were sitting there one day on defense, and I can't remember (exactly) what we were watching, we were watching a cut up, and Sam was playing on the other side of the ball, and a couple times he made some throws, and Phil Snow, our defensive coordinator, was like, 'Man, that kid looks like Matt Stafford.' And so, we put a couple games on – and this is the defensive staff -- and they were all like, 'You know what, every game we watch, he makes a couple of big-time plays, and there has to be some meat on the bone there,' "
  4. Since most have pointed out the obvious, I'll give another answer. Signing Cam Irving and then actually starting him. Who honestly thought that was a good idea ?
  5. i must say, this post confuses me. Lamar has Beaten Mahomes, Burrow and Herbert already.
  6. In a weird way....we did. We decided to bring back Matt Rhule and we took on Baker. We are shocking the world with out decisions and play.
  7. you mean you're stomach didn't turn for a bit when he was IN A PATRIOTS JERSEY ?
  8. Thank you https://youtu.be/4kHal6gu9yc
  9. Isn't there a YouTube clip of a Huddler's reaction to the pick in real time ?
  10. Be that as it may, every FA offensive lineman just celebrated with their agent last night after watching the final quarter of the SuperBowl. They may not be as good, but teams are going get every lineman they can. I wouldn't be surprised if we Drafted 1 lineman early and called it a day afterwards.
  11. I've been a big fan of Eric Bieniemy, have little to no idea about who he would bring with him. I'm just a fan of the dude's optimism when it comes to football:
  12. you are right, don't me get me wrong But at this point, it appears more and more the Panthers biggest opponent is themselves. When they are confident in the playcalling and the personnel out there, we've seen them pulling out the wins. Its when the chips are down, the cracks become more visible. I usually think of the QB when a question like this pops up. So its fair to ask, down in the ballgame, does Sam have the dog in him to look past the mistakes and rally the offense ? The next couple of games are gonna tell us what we need to know.
  13. Liked ? Darnold making key throws. Whenever it looked like the game might be turning, he used his legs and found someone for first downs. His connection with Moore was killing the Texans early. Disliked ? well besides the injuries.............The F***ing offensive line at times in this game. which is going to bring me to my closing statement: START DEONTE BROWN !!! I don't care if he's "Fat" That man was moving people in Alabama...all the way to a National Championship. Start him at Left Guard and be done with it.
  14. Learned that lesson in 2015. Diverted most of attention to that team, missed out on things that I'm paying for now.
  15. Alejandro Villanueva If we draft a Quarterback with our first pick, I would like for him to not get killed by the blindside. Alejandro is arguably the most consistent tackle on the market. Give him a 2-3 year deal, live with the fact you might pay anywhere from 12-15 mil a year, work on getting the guard positions situated.
  16. Born and raised in New York here. I'm probably going to laid to rest with a Fitted on my head.
  17. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/colts-insider/2021/01/21/colts-offensive-coordinator-nick-sirianni-new-eagles-head-coach-report/6659143002/ "That might sound silly to those who think an offensive coordinator’s only job is to call plays, which the 39-year-old Sirianni did not do in Indianapolis. "
