  1. Wow. Incredible lol. Thanks for sharing, and sounds par for the course.
  2. You, know it's funny, I have been thinking back to this portion of his hire a lot more the last two weeks, because I find it funny that no one in the media has called him on it. IIRC, Tepper or Hurney made it a point to say that the hire somewhat hinged on them being able to promise Rhule he would get that sports medicine/science crap here. And again, the more time that has gone by, it has become evident that that was just more of his con at the time. It sounded innovative and ingenious to the teams interviewing him, and at the same time, it seems so cutting-edge that none of them would've known enough to call bullshit on it at the time... but it wows the interviewer/teams in that process to the point that they wouldn't possibly think it's just part of his used car sales con to win them over in the moment... And like I said, not a single peep about that bullshit since his intro. He knew what he was doing.
  3. Lol remember... was it last year or the year before where they literally had no receivers? They had to promote multiple guys off the PS and people here were all giddy going in thinking that was an automatic dub and they came out and whooped our ass like they just lined up three prime Colstons. That poo never matters. They're still gonna whoop our ass. Difference is, I want them to this time... put the nail in the Rhule coffin.
  4. Who he is and what he does works great for college. All he does is "sell" people on a brand, program, etc. And it works in college because you don't have to have any substance there or any legit coaching. You just need to get better players than the majority of the teams you're gonna play. Win your conference a time or two, or hell, even some no-name bowl every year, and you're golden. That's all he did. He sold kids on his program - on his brand, even if there is nothing to it or behind it, it's selling the idea. And in college, the football coach is pretty much the undisputed final word on campus, so once he's got you there, you either do exactly what you're told or you transfer. So that ultimate power works in college as well because your authority is unquestioned, and up until the NIL shook the board up a little bit, kids really had no recourse or power at all... even if they got to school and were lied to and ended up in a fuged up situation, there was no counter for them, they just had to deal with it... so again, that poo flies in college, not in the pros. You don't think players noticed something like when he came in and said he couldn't wait to coach Cam, Cam's a winner, blah, blah, blah, and then he turns around and dumps the face of the franchise for Teddy fuging Bridgewater? Yes, Cam was not the Cam of old, but he still was the face of the franchise and had gravity that will last for our collective lifetime because of what he accomplished here and who he is to the organization, the city, the state, and the region. You don't treat THAT guy with that much disregard and straight up lie about your plans with him and then dump him like yesterday's garbage. BUT, in college, you can do that. Your word doesn't have to mean anything, because what is an 18 year old kid really gonna do to your reputation in that system? NOTHING. Coaches purposely over-recruit all the time and lie through their teeth to get guys to come there and then bury them on the roster... their word doesn't have to mean anything. They tell the parents everything they want to hear - they'll be their son's parent away from home, turn them into men, teach them, guide them, give them a great education, and all that other bullshit... and unless that kid is a star player, that HC barely says 3 words to then over the next 4 years. But in the pros? The players are the face. They are constant. They are what drives the league. Whereas, again, in college, the coaches are because kids are churning out of there in 4 years or less and come and go. The coach is the constant, the star, etc. So when he got to the pros, and he starts woofing all that rah rah, the brand, the program, and all that other college bullshit, it means nothing because the players in the pros KNOW and SEE there is nothing holding it up. There is nothing of substance to it. So they're either gonna say, "fug this clown, imma just go out there and do what I do," or they're just gonna go through the motions because they know they don't have to answer for anything at the end of the day - and i think we're seeing s little of both here under Rhule. But the takeaway is, in either case, they tune him out because he isn't credible, he isn't a man of integrity, he doesn't know what he's doing, and everything he says is meaningless and empty. The players have the power in the NFL, so once they don't respect you, you're fuged.
  5. But even with your assessment, LG, wouldn't you think then it would be fair to see what he does without Rhule meddling in everything and then ruining and misusing the personnel that is acquired for him? We've seen from Panthers Media themselves that so many of these whiffs were Rhule's doing, i.e., Fletcher, Chubba, etc., and it was heavily reported that Darnold was at Rhule's behest, and before Fitt even got here, Teddy was also Rhule's target. Again, from everything reported, it seems like everything personnel-wise prior to this offseason was heavily influenced by, if not outright executed by Rhule... and he was supposedly the final word in all football ops prior to this past offseason. But we know Fitt has great connections in the league, as well as a great reputation and rapport with other front offices which is an invaluable resource to have. We also know Fitt is the guy that worked the Gilmore and Laviska trades, which are incredible value. The CJ trade I don't know how to categorize because that again was another one that Rhule was reportedly heavily pushing for, but regardless, I think the overall grade on the moved we know were primarily Fitt's has been really good. I get the stench of this whole Rhule era makes it easy to just hit reset in everything, but it trust in this FO and would like to see what they can do without this bumbling imbecile in Rhule fuging everything up.
  6. I like his picks, I like being active, I like being in on every deal, and I trust his eye for talent, along with Morgan, and I like Sulaiman as the cap guy. I just like our FO and I'm convinced our struggles are due to Matt Rhule in almost every capacity.
  7. Fitt is fine, but he's not going to hire the coach. Tepper's ego wants the credit for getting it right.
  8. That was a damn stick by Milano.
  9. Willis will be the Titans FT starter by week 6. Tannehill is cheeks.
  10. TBH, I am confident in my eye-test evaluations and have a good track record with my draft projections going years back, and I did not think Hurts was going to be a starting NFL QB, at least not a good one. He was not impressive at all as a passer to me at Alabama... I always thought if you could force him to pass, that was usually when Bama struggled ot lost, it was just that most teams weren't capable of forcing him to do so. He improved as a passer at OU, but I still didn't think it was enough to translate to the pros, but he has really impressed me in the pros. The one thing about him that couldn't be quantified was his work ethic, snd it's clear he puts in the work and has gotten significantly better. But yeah, I never really loves the YGM pick, and even then, I would've preferred a project in Hurts over YGM. Now in hindsight, it definitely would've been the better pick and less of a project than I expected.
  11. TBH, despite how far his neck contorted back, I can't ever recall someone suffering those most feared injuries as long as their face mask is up... it looked really bad, but the ones that have suffered the worst injuries in my lifetime were the ones with their heads down... Shazier, Reggie Brown, Dennis Byrd, etc. Glad he is OK and hope the extent of his injuries are minimal... hopefully he's just sore for a few days. Either way, that's incredible considering how it looked.
  12. Edmunds didn't even seem phased. I hope Jackson is okay. It will be a miracle if he didn't seriously hurt anything, and that's what I'm praying for him - a miracle. That looked bad.
  13. Same poo he been doing for the last 2 years... Say one thing then immediately contradict it.
  14. It's implied if the entire interior is Top 5 at their positions, or whatever that was.
  15. Also, Voth and Gantt have not tweeted for at least 20 hrs... I don't want to get my hopes up, but damn it!
  16. Curiously enough, the Panthers havent pushed the notification out on Facebook yet that the pressers are starting.
  17. Interesting, I hadn't thought about him at all until your thread in regards to yesterday. I saw him a lot game 1, but I don't recall seeing him at all yesterday. I noticed early we were actually running Ricci at TE a lot early... and Sullivan played as well, but it was mostly Ian. I don't recall seeing Tremble once. Maybe he's in the doghouse?
  18. No doubt, that has been where we've seen the most pressure, and the most noticeable instances of it... I just know I've seen Corbett pushed all the way back into Baker's face multiple times to where he's had to move immediately as well, so I don't buy those grades/rankings. Just from the eye-test, I think BC has been far and away our best OL this season... I know it's just two games, but you never notice him for the wrong reasons.
  19. If it's to force Snow out, maybe that's enough to force Rhule to resign on his own. But that's wishful thinking... it's the only thing I have left to hope in regarding this team in its current state.
  20. Same. Joined in early 04 and was still vasillating between here and The Observer's boards back then... I long since forgot my Yahoo passwords. It's a long time to be one place, especially on the internet.
