  1. JNo's impact already being felt! I have never seen Henderson go for the punch before. Ever.
  2. Good break up, CJ... he looked like he was about to fug that up.
  3. fug you Donovan Smith. Burns whooped that ass.
  4. C'mon Keith!!! Show us some of that coverage you played on Justin Jefferson!
  5. Ain't gonna lie. That wasn't an easy one. He pinpointed it between two guys while climbing the pocket. Who tf is this guy?
  6. I loved Vince. He didn't throw it like Stroud tonight. And I've been a big detractor of Stroud until that game. That's the best defense in the country and he dotted them up and showed incredible decision-making. I didn't believe in him being a franchise guy until tonight. I still don't think we have to do anything crazy to move up, but he definitely looks more appealing and prolly just put himself square as the frontrunner for the #1 pick.
  7. I may have missed it on the breakdown, buy that tip-toe sideline pass/catch from Darnold to DJ was one of the prettiest passes I've seen all season. Was absolutely amazed that DJ was able to catch it and and stay in bounds. Darnold threw it as perfectly as it could be thrown and still give DJ a chance...
  8. This. Willis was never expected to be ready to play as a rookie, as it was well documented that the offense he ran at Liberty was extremely simple and didn't translate to the pro game at all. What did translate was and is his physical skills and intangibles. His processing and ability to read a defense was what pretty much every team knew he would have to work on because I bekieve the Liberty offense was heavy-RPO, one read, etc., which is why he is having a hard time now. If he doesn't show any progress by the end of next year then you will have a better idea on how his career will pan out.
  9. Make no mistake, they didn't miss it. They knew Brissette did it, they just chose not to call it. Expect the same Sunday. We can't leave it up to the refs, we're gonna have to do everything in our power to take it.
  10. I get it, but like Fitt said, you have to keep swinging until you hit one, and Carr would definitely be a hit.
  11. I would absolutely trade a 3rd and would consider a 2nd but wouldn't want to go there. I really think Richardson from UF or Hendon from Tenn. could present a ton of value from the later first and beyond, so I'm comfortable taking either of them and seeing what happens... But, let me be clear... Carr is not Darnold or Mayfield. He is a bona-fide, MVP-level QB with a competent coaching staff. He is a top-tier processor and decision-maker. I would be fine trading a 2nd or 3rd for him.
  12. Are you familiar with Josh McDaniels as a head coach?
  13. I will say in the interviews I watched last season from Gilly he seemed over it from very early on. Again, I think these accomplished guys saw all the amateur poo going on and just rode it out or left. I think the only reason Gilmore entertained coming back is because it was home, and he did share before that it was a dream for him to come back and play for his hometeam. Was probably hoping Rhule would get canned early if he did.
  14. Peppers was working with the team too, IIRC, since he retired. Could've been one or any combo of Kuechly, Pep, and/or Gilmore. And it doesn't surprise me one bit... every one of those guys distanced themselves pretty quickly under the Rhule regime. I think they all saw it wasn't going to reflect well on anyone associated with them.
  15. He will definitely keep Holcomb, just like Rivera had a hard time parting with Richards and Washington. Wilks said Holcomb is essentially his version of Phil Snow. And Holcomb is really bad.
  16. I agree with the sentiment but the ATL game still pisses me off. It's rare a guy gets 2 shots to win the game with a walk-off kick, and it's even more rare that the guy misses both of them - horribly. That was like Jim Marshall running the wrong way, but for kickers. It was like Scott Norwood in the Super Bowl, except twice in one game. It was all-time, two for the history books bad. That being said, he has been incredibly reliable outside of that game. But again, the thing that worries me is that most other games, he has essentially been able to go in playing with house money. That ATL one was so bad, because they, we, and he knew something was on the line, and he choked. My Chicago buddy said the same thing when he saw what happened here - "Yup. Same thing that happened here. He was money when it didn't matter, but when it did, he folded." I hope he's over that after Wilks kept him through that and showed belief in him... sometimes that's all it takes.
  17. Check out the article on Panthers.com, the pics from the side are a better angle, and to me he doesn't look to be any noticeably bigger than he was last time I saw him.
  18. Maybe it's just a formality. Is Andre Roberts on the 53 yet?
  19. Aren't you able to bring a PS guy up to the active roster on gameday or something weird like that now?
  20. As expected. Wilks was talking about him like he was already on the roster and how they planned to implement him during the presser.
