Despite what we've seen and heard so far regarding Fhule's job security, I can tell Tepper takes it personally when the stadium is overrun with opposing fans and the few home fans that show up boo as Fhule's team sloppily flunks and fails at every facet of the game and it snowballs... I'm really hoping outside of Cam having a few more good plays where is honored and celebrated in what may be his final home game at BOA (I hope he is brought back though), the crowd is absolutely unbearable - much like Fhule's "brand" and coaching - and that pushes him to make the move before next week.

I've said it repeatedly, and I am the biggest Cam guy out there, but I acknowledge he is not what he was in 2015, and he never will be, because a huge part of what made him so incredible was not just the threat to run, but the cannon to flick it 80 yards downfield effortlessly. He still is the running threat that he was, buy the arm is obviously what changed with the shoulder injury... but he still has plenty enough arm to be a Top 15 QB in a functional, effective offense. The problem is, this offense is anything but that. And in saying all of that, I still respectfully disagree with your take here. The offense had hit a point where we were struggling to move the ball AT ALL with Sam before his injury. Again, we went an entire game with him not gaining a single first down. If you compare the picks they have thrown, a) Sam has double what Cam has (albeit I know with a few more games played), and b) there are picks that Sam threw where there was absolutely no explanation for what he was looking at or attempting to do. All of Cam's were almost exclusively the result of poor playcalling and you could see what was being attempted, it just wasn't there. With Cam, the offense, even as dysfunctional as it is, the ball moves. With Sam, he had reached the absolute doldrums of worst passer to ever throw a specific number of passing attempts in the history of the league before his injury... With Cam in there, you can tell he is at least reading the defense and reacting to it. Sam has no idea what he's looking at, does not read or process anything except fear, and he plays accordingly... and whether Cam was back here or not, that would still be my evaluation of Sam. He is a fringe backup QB if he stays in the league, but no team should waste any more time trying to tap into his "potential" as a starter. There is none. He is what he is and always will be. So again, even considering Cam is no longer what he was, he is still plenty good enough, and he is still better than Sam, and it's not even close. That being said, they're all going to look worse than they should because this staff and offense fuging blows.

In typical Panthers fashion, for as long as our franchise has existed, if there is one thing I know to be certain, it's that if there is a statistical milestone on the table for our opponent, they are going to hit it against us. Add to that history that we currently have the absolute worst coaching staff in the entire league and... voila! This from Schefter: I expect him to get the two TDs, and maybe half way through the catches and yards.

Rhule is straight up shitting all over us and doesn't give a fug. He is one arrogant, egotistical prick. And although I love that Cam came back for sentimental reasons and we had a few incredible moments since he's been back, I am starting to feel that I wish he hadn't come back while Rhule was here because this is a fuging insult to him and any fan with half a brain. I fuging hate Fatt Fhule.

I'm sure it won't be until 2022 at this point, but I can't fuging wait until Rhule's dumbass is out of here. Every time I think he can't get any dumber, he goes and proves me wrong... and again, it appears at this point that both he and Tepper are looking at more and more ways to alienate fans at every turn.

If he has, especially recently, I haven't seen it. TBH, I've always felt like there was a bit of a tension and distance between the two of them just seeing how they talk about each other and interact with each other.

I dont know why this story just popped up again... it seems to be rooted in a report from back on the 5th. I saw pantherscentre on IG shared it earlier citing Jones, so I searched it and found nothing recent - only the initial reports back from the 5th. Seems it was just rehashed for clicks for some reason today... At least thats what I'm hoping for, but paired with Tepper's comments to the fan st the Bills game, if I'm being objective, it's not looking good.

I'm happy for Burns, but how tf did Reddick lead all OLB in Pro Bowl voting and still not make it? I thought Burns, Reddick, and Gilmore was pretty much locks. The coaches and players must not care for Reddick at all... I figure Gilmore's only impedance was the lack of snaps despite the production and stats being there.

I just shared the tweet for a verified source, but I was really sharing this based off of the video clip Cat Crave shared - it's much more telling. He is asked about it and appears completely taken aback. His reaction to the question would indicate he was not injured at all.

Came to post this after seeing it posted by Cat Crave, and it was posted by ncfan in the Rhule presser thread as well, but I thought it deserved it's own thread. Wtf is going on here? How do you list a player on the injury report who doesn't know they're injured, feels good, and has no idea where that designation came from or why? Perhaps them trying to set things up to sit him the last 3 games?

And see, thats exactly what they are - gimmicks. And its why its not working in the NFL. These are grown ass men that don't need some garbage college crap like this to get them motivated. If you have a coach that loses your respect early, even if you don't intend to, you tune them out, quick, fast, and in a hurry... and I'm pretty sure that happened here quite awhile ago.

He's no doubt a HOF'er and should be a first ballot. I dont care what haters say, the dude has more rushing TDs than HOF RBs and held numerous records for passing TDs, as well as games with both a rushing and passing TD. Point being, the league has never seen a player like him before and likely never will again. And in regards to trading him for any other HOF-level QB? Prime Cam? 2015 Cam? I'm not trading him for anyone. His ability to produce TDs on his own was unmatched due to his ability as a runner in addition to having an absolute cannon with good to great accuracy - and he literally has the ball in his hands, every play. He is obviously past his prime now, and he still is the single hardest player to stop running the ball on any play he takes the snap while he's on the field. It is an unreal, videogame-like skillset. Sure, other guys may have been consistently more accurate, but no other QB outside of maybe Brady or Manning in their primes (because of their ability to adjust, counter, and call their own plays and then execute on every play) was harder to stop, and again, Cam was probably harder because you couldn't take away both the pass and the run. Period. Also, just saw he has the most rushing TDs since 2011... more than Derrick Henry and Adrian Peterson.

Ehh, that doesn't sound good at all. I just have no idea what Tepper is thinking in keeping him... so, chalk that up to not just two years wasted of fandom this year and last. But make it three with next season as well. Oh well, I'll probably finish watching this season, but I won't be watching next if Rhule is still here.

Had no idea Hajrullahu was 31 years old until just now. When we had him earlier in the offseason, I assumed he was younger than that. But regardless, Zane had a great season and I wish we hadn't lost him, but this could be interesting... Actually, one of my good friends is a Bears fan, and during our vent sessions, it seems Rhule and Nagy may have been separated at birth, because they are pretty much the same coach.

Let the hate flow through you, bro. We know its not just about, Cam... this instance with Cam is symptomatic of the greater problem, and Rhule is the disease, but he has definitely been more critical of and adversarial with Cam... but he never takes responsibility period.

Yeah, and paired with Rhule's response to a similar question where he essentially bragged about our two deep attempts and essentially, again, blamed Cam for missing both even though he was under duress both times, and it just further cements how clueless this staff is.

100% Scot. I had also thought about including the comments Zylstra made in his presser yesterday when asked about what was wrong with the offense. At one point, when asked directly about why we can't get anything going deep downfield, he specifically stated that their offense is structured to attack underneath, get the ball out quickly to their playmakers and let them make something happen after the catch, run RPOs, etc, and once we get all of that going, it will open up everything else. While in theory that sounds great, it is exactly what is wrong with our offense and is the same exact garbage that we were running that got Brady fired. The issue is, those things "never get going," but we still end up running it, even when we shouldn't - like throwing 2 yard drags on 3rd and 10 or 4th and 10. This staff just doesn't get it, AT ALL. Teams know that's what we're doing and they take it away and it's like the staff has no counter or adjustment, ever, so we just keep running the same ineffective bullshit and nothing changes. And Cam's response does sound like he doesn't want to throw anyone else under the bus. The more I hear, the more dysfunctional and broken this whole team seems to be under this staff. It is crazy that they're still here, all things considered. There's no way he still had the locker room's ear at this point. The players all know the poo they're stuck in right now.

This right here is why Tepper needs to end this clown show, TODAY. I have watched almost every post game presser and he has never once hesitated to say, "I can't comment on that until I watch the tape," except when it comes to Cam. Sheena also asked Cam directly yesterday after the game his thoughts about Rhule's comments and essentially throwing him under the bus, and Cam replied that he wasn't going to make any comment up there out of emotion following a tough loss because no good could come of it. He owned his mistakes, as usual, and moved on. And now you have Fatt Fhule coming back the day after, as if it was some noble gesture, admitting he was 100% wrong on blaming Cam for that play yesterday. It was a horrible fuging call to begin with, but Fhule didn't want to blame his high school sweetheart for making it in the first place, so he blamed Cam. When he explained it yesterday, I felt like the explanation was bullshit because he said we only had the bubble in there if there was a blitzer, but the blitzer was picked up so it shouldn't have been thrown - newsflash! I watched the game yesterday, and I'm not a coach, and can tell you more often than not, the "blitzer" wasn't picked up. Rhule is a fuging joke. And when you constantly throw your leaders under the bus only to come back and say after watching it you were wrong, I can't possibly imagine how you hold any fuging weight in the locker room. The damage was done with the first ill-informed dumbass fuging statement, where he should have kept his fuging mouth shut and deferred to comment until he could look at the play - which is his usual M.O. I just can't believe this guy is still here and how fuging dysfunctional this team is right now. He is a joke and he has to fuging go. Him and all his merry band of college slapdicks.
