  1. I'm guessing that involves recently released players as well. Welp...
  2. As big of a fan as I was of Watson the player, the longer this has dragged on, the less appealing it sounds. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, now the sound of trading 3 1sts, 2 2nds, and multiple players for a guy who has sat out an entire year and may still get suspended for another year just doesn't sound like the lemon is worth the squeeze. And the way the NFL has shat all over us at every possible turn for just about the entirety of our history, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if we turned around and made that trade tomorrow only for the NFL to then decide to finally step in after this garbage has carried on for over a year and suspend him for the whole season. So then we would be out of valuable picks for the next 3 years, down multiple defensive stars, and have absolutely nothing to show for it. And then as others have mentioned, I don't feel all too excited about acquiring a guy who apparently didn't want to come here last offseason, and now with the bonus of a lame duck staff in place. If we do it, and he's allowed to play, I'll be excited to see what he can do because he is indeed a hell of a player. He is the definition of a franchise player with MVP potential, on the field. But its all this other garbage that is so off putting. I was all in last offseason, but idk what it is a year later... I just don't feel froggy for this jump.
  3. Which clearly led to his signings of Cam Erving and Pat Elflein to fix our OL woes. Brilliant!
  4. I really hope Derrick Brown is the only one of those young guys moved if we make the trade.
  5. Yeah that looks similar to what I think it will take... I really hope we hang onto Burns and Chinn though. Maybe throw Derrick Brown in there.
  6. As much as it pains me to say... I think the Russ trade was just a starting point.
  7. NGL, we'd have QB solved if he is on the field and playing, but boy... we will be hurting for quite a few years. Thinking about the assets is one thing, but seeing them in type stings.
  8. I wouldn't even worry about them driving up the price with fake offers. Fitt is very connected to other FOs and agents, I'm pretty sure he has a solid idea of what's going on. The issue is, I don't think Tepper cares. They've said he has wanted to put his mark on the team with his own guy since he got here, and I think he'll do anything to make that happen even if it goes against the advice of his FO. He's a fuging idiot.
  9. I figured, but this fuging sucks. May as well get used to it as long as Fhule is here... the word is starting to get out about how unprofessional and amateurish his "program" is down here and more and more vets are going to avoid this place like the plague.
  10. Nah, I trust the FO and their evaluations. It's what happens once Rhule has a chance to use their acquisitions that ruins everything.
  11. Centerpiece of offense and defense gone in one day. Wow. That being said... would love to have Wags, but almost willing to bet money he ends up with New England. Fits the mold.
  12. fug Seattle fans. They are some of the worst, most entitled, douchey people on the planet. I'm sure there are exceptions, but they deserve every bit of misery coming their way with this deal and in the future. Assholes.
  13. He's terrible. He's played actual games and been unimpressive and there have been numerous reports that teammates have said he sucks. I would rather see if we can get Huntley from Baltimore, Re-sign Cam, and/or draft Willis.
  14. Welp, I guess they weren't big believers in Rhule's Teddy Bridgewater, Esq., Franchise QB either, eh?
  15. I disagree. If they jump us and take Willis and he ends up being Russell Wilson Part Two, we will be wearing egg on our face again.
  16. I said Willis could potentially be Russell Wilson. Makes sense the Hawks made this deal after watching his combine, if they feel they can move up to get him. I really hope we take Willis now, but it just always feel like we're just a spot or two out of where we need to be the last couple of years.
  17. While I dont love the extension, it is reasonable, and I honestly font get into all of the hand-wringing about the cap and contracts. Sulaiman is one of the best in the league at cap management. We'll make it work.
  18. Damn, what a fuging idiot. And here we are, in a spot in time where we are to take mental health crises seriously, and supposedly, Ridley has been regarded as a very high character guy, and dude stepped away under the guise of mental health crisis and he is down at Hard Rock being a dumbass, gambling through a mainstream sports book that is guaranteed to get him suspended or banned from the league. Wtf?
  19. I still like Robby and believe he'll be back to 2021 form with better QB play. But, I don't like the contract as it stands and it appears there are plenty of guys in this draft that do what he does well.
