  1. That's it? Wow. I thought his value was higher.
  2. And honestly, I feel like KRob got a bad rap from the beginning with Rhule. Rhule constantly talked sout both sides of his mouth with him, and he just never got a real chance, imo. And he damn sure should be on the roster before Chandler.
  3. Welp. That's probably the end of that.
  4. Wow. Was never sold on him from college but knew he had potential. Surprised they moved in that quickly from a 3rd round investment though.
  5. We need to get him, but I don't think we will show any interest.
  6. Didn't we bring him in for a tryout last year?
  7. I think it was posted elsewhere in then merged in this thread somewhere, but I believe it was a conditional 6th and 7th in '23 and '24, respectively, IIRC.
  8. I have to disagree. We damn sure didn't get abused on the Baker or Gilmore trades. Depending on how he plays this year, we probably won the Henderson trade as well. I don't count Darnold on Fitt because it apparently was pushed for mostly by Rhule and has been very different from the other trades we know were sought out and initiated by Fitt and the FO, in terms of compensation contrasted with the actual player's value. And finally, I think if you look at the roster Fitt has built, it is quite possi ly the deepest/most talented roster from top to bottom we have ever fielded... so he is killing it, imo. The issue is Rhule. Imagine what a Belichick, Andy Reid, Tomlin, Bruce Arians, Harbaugh, or Vrabel could do with this roster... which is why if Rhule finds a way to lose with it, he needs to go and go early and give McAdoo or Wilks a shot at becoming the guy.
  9. Idk, I'm not gonna read too much into it, although I would tend to agree with you, but there are some guys that just know how to move when they step on the field, regardless of their measurables. And again, judging from his production so far in the pros and looking at the tape, he shows plenty short-area explosiveness to make plays.
  10. I also like Zylstra, but Higgins definitely seems like the bigger receiving threat that can make things happen on offense. I didnt love the signing and was familiar with him from the Browns, but he has really sold me through camp and preseason. He reminds me a bit of Jairus Wright, who we had a few years ago.
  11. The more I've thought this over... we may have just gotten Deebo-lite for a conditional late round pick. I know Jags fans and some twitterers were down on him, but again, he was highly regarded as a steal in his draft and regardless of how he got it, 60 catches and 600 yards in the NFL is legit productions, especially when compounded with and considering it was on a dysfunctional Jags team. I love this move.
  12. Posted this is the other thread, but I'll post it here too. I know Daley's play seemingly regressed each year after his rookie season, but I still liked him. Actually I would've kept him over Erving, Elf, and Jordan. He's versatile, and when put in a good situation, has shown he can play quality football at this level. I wish him the best in Tennessee and I think he will do well. Also, for those that forgot... I'm driving the fuging Fitt Wagon and we ain't stopping. Dude is such a breath of fresh air.

  14. Damn straight. This place, and the internet as a whole has changed... but SCP is and was awesome. Just a great guy and poster.
  15. I miss SCP. I like to think of myself as a bit of a huddle legend, but then I realize there's SCP out there... selfishly withholding his greatness from the Huddle pages, specifically his guides to A-1 dumping while traveling. That guy is great, and speaks nothing but truth.
  16. Yeah, I had no idea of his background even when watching him last year. Funnily enough, one of my first thoughts watching him was, "Who tf is this guy and where did he come from?" But the more I watched him, the more I was impressed. I think he has starter potential, honestly. From what I saw, he might not be great at any one thing, but he's good at a lot of things, and just seems to have that grit and headiness to him.
  17. I watched a Cards preseason game a week or two ago and was wondering where he went, becausei watched him extensively last year and was thoroughly impressed.
  18. Also, I haven't kept up with him since that draft, but the Jags fans' reviews sound like this dude is Legedu Naanee part deux.
  19. I remember there being a lot of hype as him being a steal for whoever took him that draft. So I love the acquisition... but, I have no effing idea how this fits with how the roster is currently constructed. Higgins and Shi were emerging as big time contributors. Robbie and DJ are starters. Roberts is guaranteed a spot as a returner. And TMJ was a second round pick last year. My guess is TMJ is gone.
  20. It's why it's tough for me to really get excited even though looking at the talent we have, and guys like Wilks and McAdoo on the staff, we have plenty of reason to be. Rhule is just a lingering fart over it all.
  21. Well, the harder they make him coach, they make him coach harder before it takes 7 years to become an overnight sensation or something like that.
