  1. He's a great writer and reporter. I hear him a lot on local radio, as he covers a ton of Hurricanes stuff. And he's dead on here. Glad he called him out and didn't hold any punches... because I kept waiting during the presser for someone to ask him why he continued to play Elflein after all the botched snaps, and yet, not a single reporter did. Closest they came was asking what caused the botched snaps, but never once asked why Wlf was in there to begin with.
  2. I listened to Rhule's Presser, and despite throwing his hands up at the end of the game and being the usual idiot he is acting like he had no way to impact the game until we got to that point, he did say that they didn't give him an explanation on Burns at all. He said despite the league coming in during camp and explaining and emphasizing the new rules repeatedly regarding that exact circumstance, in which he said Burns clearly did not commit a penalty under those new rules they had explained to them repeatedly, that the refs gave him no explanation for it. He said they did come back and offer some bullshit explanation on the spike, but he didn't elaborate on it. He asked our PR guy if he could say what they told him, he was told no, and then said he didn't want to get in trouble but they explained it wasn't a penalty. Rhulr also said that he actually just had our guys watch film on that exact scenario because he said Cleveland runs out routes on their spike, so they can fake it and throw it. So it sounds/looks like they were gonna try to fake it and throw it, but Brissett saw it wasn't there which is why he got caught in between, faked it then took a step back and awkwardly got stuck like that before spiking it. But, it was definitely a penalty by definition. Regardless, I already expect to get screwed by the refs. If there's a chance for them to do it, they will. So to me, it's a waste even talking about it. If we hadn't played like poo for 75% of the game and had we not fuged up in the redzone with the muffed snap and been able to score a TD, none of this poo even matters. Never leave it up to the refs.
  3. Lol, I was saying, LIVE, as it was happening, in the game thread, to go for the TD because they would come right back and kick a FG and win it if we settled for a FG, regardless of how they got to FG range. I didn't know the exact bullshit that would happen, but I e been a Panthers fan long enough that I knew it would. So, again thanks for your commentary, now go sip some more wine to go with that cheese.
  4. It's number 1 to me. Possibly worst penalty ever regardless of the type. That was literally one of the dumbest plays I have ever seen. In any sport. Like really DUMB. It was fuging bad, I just still can't believe it. And honestly, if I was the coach, he would not have seen the field the rest of the game. Taylor still looked better to me in stretches last season than Henderson ever has. Again, the only times we have ever noticed Henderson since hes been here is for getting destroyed or making dumbass penalties/plays like today. And for a CB, that's pretty much the opposite of what you want. I'm over that "project."
  5. Like I said, big for nothing. This is two years of him playing like a bitch. But it's our fault for booing him, right?
  6. It's weird, but you described exactly how I feel, perfectly. My "Rhule is a pussy" thread aside, lol. That's just usual venting. But I honestly expected what happened to happen, and wasn't even moved when their kick went through. I knew all of that was going to play out exactly as it did. And normally, all my life, when we lost, I would just feel miserable the rest if the day. Now, I honestly don't give a poo.
  7. Lol OK. Again, we had a chance to win that game where those calls would've had minimal to no effect on us. We allowed it to happen. I know where to place my anger. If you've been a fan of this team since day one, then you would know to expect the calls will always be against us when it matters, so there's no point in hoping the refs do a good job. They won't. You talk like someone who didn't watch Superbwol 50 or the subsequent shitshow known as 2016. If you did, then you would know why depending on the refs is the equivalent to shitting your pants and hoping no one smells it. Not here to argue with you or bicker and call names. I'm good.
  8. Yup. Elf should've never even sniffed the field to begin with. And after two botched snaps, MAX, he should've had his ass yanked. I'm sure Rhule will let us know what great blocks he threw and the nice job he did calling out protections and such, though.
  9. I think it was, "Get punched in the mouth (several times) and then react."
  10. Not worried about Baker at all. Love the moxie he showed and love how he turned it around in the 2nd half. My concern from day 1 of the offseason, was regardless of whatever changes we made, would it be enough to overcome what a dumbass Rhule is. That is still my concern after week 1.
  11. Like I said, you got it, big guy. I've been here, on this ride, since day one, and it's the same poo every year. And every year, we have some arrogant, wine and cheese fan ride in on their horse reeking of elitism and self-righteousness because they don't let this team or football affect their emotions. And they always preach the same objectivity- angled, "it happens to everyone," and "we'll get em next week/year/decade" bullshit, and they always come back, saying the same thing, because we never do "get 'em." They keep getting us. Like I said, to you, it's "one call," and league-wide bad officiating. But, for many of us, it's 27 years of bad calls, and bad officiating that seemingly never benefits us. Yeah, I'm emotionally invested, so I react when we get shafted, again, and again, and again. Like we always do. And yeah, I'm gonna call the coaches out when they make it easy for the other fuging team because they suck at their fuging jobs.
  12. Ok, Mr. Rational, Cool, Calm, and Collected. You got it.
  13. Also, let's not forget the reason they likely decided to play for the FG was because of the 4th botched snap of the day by Rhule's boy, Pat Elflein, whom he insisted on starting over Bozeman. A large part of us playing behind the chains today was a direct result of that one specific decision that affected the entire game... all from dumbass Rhule.
  14. Oh that would be perfect. I really would love if he pulled a Saban or Petrino on us right now.
  15. Same. A story as old as time. And the outcome is always the same.
  16. No, meaning it was bound to happen. Which is why, we should've learned after 27 years of the "aww shucks, we got a bad break again!" bullshit, we would've figured it out. Go for the fuging jugular and put then away yourself. As the old adage in boxing goes, "never leave it up to the judges." Us getting a bad break, or a bad call, or whatever other bullshit like a fuging asteroid falling out of the sky and only hitting our QB in the middle of trying to sling a throw to a wide open receiver is always going to happen. Period. And we never fuging learn. The point being, this poo is bigger than that one call. It's a lifetime of one calls.
  17. Same. I actually started to type out all of the specific fugups that led to that atrocity of an ending, but like you, I'm done wasting energy on it. We all know is he a fuging idiot in over his head. I am salivating at the idea of him getting canned TONIGHT and McAdoo ot Wilks taking over. I'm tired of this poo.
  18. But us long-time Panther fans knew that's the exact kind of poo that was going to happen, which is why you don't cut your balls off and play for the FG on our last possession. I KNEW, KNEW,KNEW that was going to fuging happen.
  19. But we always do. At some point, it's not about that.
  20. You're just a bitch and I want you fired... Period. Please go back to college and take Phil Snow's dumbass with you.
  21. fuging Phil Snow and Matt Rhule. He could've hit that poo from their 45.
