  1. It'd hard to find guys at his size with his traits, but considering that he just doesn't seem to show up much. I think it's telling how early we saw Barno in games and how late Brandon Smith ended up in there most of the time. Weirdly enough, I thought Smith looked good when given the opportunities last season, but whenever I saw him this preseason, he seemed to get "out-physicaled."
  2. I know Jammie was comped to Honey Badger coming out, but tbh, most of the clips I saw of him and then the limited snaps I saw of him in the preseason, I just didn't see it, or much of anything else. Didn't flash much, IMO. But, draft picks, if they show any promise, tend to get a little more consideration, at least in their rookie year, so I'm not sure how that will work. I honestly think Rowe has a good chance to make it bc he has more size and is proven versatile, even though he had a few bad plays in the preseason. IIRC, we signed him pretty early in FA too, so they must've thought pretty highly of him even on a 1 yr deal, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut either, so I just said a whole lot of nothing lol. Franklin is a lock. And I'm pretty certain Mays and Jensen make it.
  3. Damn. Cam Peoples may have the saddest nfl career story arc I've ever seen. First carry fumble, last touch a fumble through the end zone on what was believed to be TD that is then overturned to a touch back and possession awarded to the opponent. Damn, what a way to go out.
  4. And imagine youre a receiver and your NFL career is on the line, and now you have to rely on Jake Luton to get you the ball.
  5. Also, I had som high hopes for Rejzohn Wright... but didn't realize until now that he is #31. My God, he looks horrible.
  6. Matt Ryan, Tiki Barber, and didn't catch the play by play guy.
  7. Ok, I'm starting to get concerned now. Preseason or not, Bryce is making some ass throws and Ickey still looks like poo. I'm not a fan of what Bryce has shown to this point... ngl, dude looks like fuging Teddy Two Gloves, and we traded DJ and draft capital for this conservative ass poo.
  8. AR was who I wanted and I would be absolutely and unquestionably ecstatic right now had we took him, regardless of what we looked like in the preseason. The concerns I have about Bryce now are the same ones I had before we drafted him and once we selected him, and they have me legitimately concerned that we may have really took the wrong guy - but again, I'm hoping for the best. But ngl, seeing AR play into his potential is going to be very hard to watch over the years regardless of how Bryce looks, because even if Bryce plays up to his potential, the physical limitations are still there - but if Bryce consistently wins, it will hurt a little less... but, damn, AR is a lot more fun to watch.
  9. And honestly, I don't know how he didn't get canned for getting caught on the hot mic. If this was any other market, this would be a national controversy.
  10. This. While Ickey hasn't looked great these first two preseason games, thos is Newton just trolling for clicks. God I wish this dude would get fired already. How do we lose reporters like Alexander and Rodrigue but this buffoon is still here fuging poo up?
  11. That former second rounder that had a good start with the Jets just got cut by the Lions.
  12. It's why I still think AR was the guy we should've taken because his physical traits and abilities will allow him to win games while he figures out the passing aspect - I take that guy 10 times out of 10 over any other rotation when picking a QB, and I've said that for years, not just in regards to Bryce. But again, I withhold my judgement and hope for the best. I really hope Reich, McCown, and Fitt didn't outsmart themselves with this pick. Hoping for the best, but his limitations are obvious and become even more glaring if the OL plays like ass. He needs everyone around him to play well to excel, while other QBs that were available to us do not.
  13. It's not that. It's that they advertised him, even after seeing him line up as the starter in TC, as being that guy, then suddenly now don't. I'm not questioning Evero. I'm questioning the timing of it and how and why their opinion of him shifted so drastically so quickly - yet, Belichick sees value in him.
  14. I still think it had to have been a locker room/off-field issue. Makes no sense personnel wise and Bekichick recognizes how to use talent, especially defensively. He was built for the role he was designated for and the team site and coaching staff hyped him all TC. True, the first depth charts generally don't mean much, but guys don't go from being touted and projected as the starter at an important position to cut before preseason is even over. Something happened...
  15. I suspected they may be trying to limit his exposure so they could keep him stashed. It's the only thing I could think of. For some reason, I thiught he had some good buzz around him before he kept getting injured.
  16. Wtf??? Must be an off the field issue. This just makes zero sense.
