I said the same about the trade. Despite his unique talents, he is still primarily a RB, snd eventually they fall off a cliff, they rarely ever continue producing at a high level into a third contract, and we honestly had lost how to use him properly under Rhule and McAdoodoo. And then there was the possibility that his body already is or will be breaking down soon, as most RBs do. So, it was best to get value and move on. I also said seeing him in Shanahan's offense was going good be insane, and it only took a little over a week to come to fruition. It's fun to see it, but it also hurts a little knowing what could've been. But I still think RB is just not a position to prioritize unless you feel it's the one big missing piece to get you over the hump - as Foreman has shown, RB production is also easily replaced, regardless of who they're replacing, even if it doesn't quite look the same. So yeah, a part of me misses seeing CMC at his best like this, but it was the best move for the long-term.

PJ Haters. Put some respect on his name.

Nah, not from me. I never believed in Kyle Allen. Nor many if any of the other guys since Cam started breaking down. And I'm not even saying PJ is a starter or long term answer. I'm just saying I appreciate him and love the dog he has in him. And despite all of the odds he has overcome, and even the fact people are shitting on him for finding himself in this position, as an undrafted guy who was an afterthought is crazy. He still has a winning record as a starter. It reminds me a lot of Jake... also in how he has some mind-boggling negative plays and then comes back and does poo like that 70-yards-in-the-air bomb to DJ. If it isn't anything else, it's fun. -
No doubt, it is a tough job mentally, but it's literally the only thing they do, and rarely ever do you see a guy completely shank the chance to win a game twice in less than a quarter worth of a game.

I wasn't sure because I don't have my DVR anymore, but I thought it was a pretty deep throw... but that was what, damn near 65-70 yards in the air???? Ridiculous. -

No I have standards, and according to your name, you have an affinity for Kentucky... so there's that. -

You get me. Thank you. His heart, grit, and determination are amazing, and honestly, again, when he is actually ON his game, he can throw some absolute lasers, and it is indeed fun to watch. -

No, I don't believe I did. And again, despite his mistakes and misfires, he put us in a position to win the game and stepped up when it mattered most. I guess you miss watching our QB get his passes batted at the line 9 times a game, or maybe a Darnold-era "throw into triple coverage to no one wearing a Panthers jersey"-style QBing. Some people just can't ever be happy. -

I respect it. I'd like to see him stick around as a backup long-term, regardless of what happens. -

That throw literally could've came from Aaron Rodgers and the same thing would've happened. It was a screen that would've gained a ton of yards. His choices were throw it or ground it. If he gets it over the top, it goes long. He made the choice most any QB would've made. Carter just made an insane fuging play, and I hate praising opponents, especially division rivals, but that was just an incredible, lucky to happen once in a career-type play. Carter deserves all the credit for that play, and PJ deserves very little blame. And again, regardless, once that play happened, you forget it and move on. PJ, as we all felt also, looked crushed. Then he came out in the second half and threw some absolute lasers. We don't tie that game, we aren't even in that game without his play in the second half. -
No, he might not be an all pro. He might not be a pro bowler. He might not be elite. But he is a fuging gamer and a damn good football player. He struggled early, but when it mattered he fuging stepped up and killed it. Ultimately, we arent in that game at all without PJ. I know some are going to hate him no matter what, but right now, he's the best we have, and again, I see him in the same mold as a guy like Case Keenum or Heinicke, maybe even a Jake Delhomme in regards to his underdog origins, but only with a hell of a lot more natural talent with his arm and legs. He might not be the guy you want, but again, he is a hell of a football player. And when he is on, it is fuging fun to watch. Thank you for stepping up, PJ. You have at least made us competitive and make a season that felt completely lost and hopeless fun to watch again. Keep Pounding, baby!

Nope, because we still put ourselves in a position to win, even after the first miss. And after Eddy's shitshow, you really think he was automatic to make it even without DJ's penalty after the TD? He'd a fuging bum. We never even have a chance to win that game without DJ and PJ. Eddy has one job, and he fuging sucks at it when it matters.
-
I think of it the same with all sports, but especially basketball, but as Vilma said, once it happened, it's done. DJ made a mistake, and it was over with, you have to move on and can only control what you can do the next play... we did that. And our guys did what they needed to do to win, and Eddy poo himself like a paraplegic geriatric.

Seeing PJ play QB the way he did today... it has me thinking...

I dont care about where we pick... again, I keep saying it, but when Cam came out, I knew, KNEW he was gonna be a generational, game-changing talent. I dont believe that even being a franchise QB is a guarantee for either Young or Stroud. There is much, much more bust potential. And that's why I'm fine with picking wherever we end up and taking a guy like Hooker. I'm proud of PJ. -
I think he wanted it on that hash. Foreman went down purposely on the last run there. Piniero is fuging garbage.
-
No I didn't. Piniero has one job and he failed 100% when it mattered. He's fuging trash.
-
I'm gucking serious. Bring back the guy with the crazy name from last year that we finished the season with - Hallrujahiam or whatever tf it was. Go get any fuging body off the street. He had two chances to win thr game and blew both of them and he has one fuging job and failed it. It wasn't DJ's fault. It wasn't PJ'S fault. It wasn't anyone but fuging Piniero.
