That was way too easy. Smh. We lost the game.
-
I just don't understand the amount of people here that hate in Burns and want to see him fail. It's unreal.
-
Idk, watching live and not having the benefit to go back and watch entire games this year, it just seems I notice Moton for bad plays much more often than any other starter on the OL this season. I agree, the Giants game was the last time he really struggled.
-
Why are we kicking it high like that???? Who didn't see that coming?
-
I think those OL "stats" are very subjective. Ickey has been light-years better than Moton. Edit: and as I typed that, he gave up his first sack since week 2. Dammit.

I'm really enjoying all these fuging coffee sippers loudly crying. fug yall. Been having the magic horseshoe up your collective ass for well over a decade... time to come back down to Earth, assholes. This is life without the benefit of everything going your way for once.

Geno better quit trying to get that hard count and just play, big dog.
-
Lol defense!!!!!! Yessir!!!! Geno playing like old Geno lol
-
If the defense doesn't get a stop here, this is about to get ugly in their favor, REAL quick.
-
It definitely was. Egregiously late. And even worse, he wrapped him up and finished it... he had plenty of time to let off.
-
Was just thinking the same thing.
-
I couldn't see that side of the field, but my issue is, Luvu looked back and saw no one else was there and still just stopped. I think it was because he thought Geno threw it away or Lockett couldn't make a play on it.
-
How tf is that not a penalty for hitting Darnold???????
-
I just don't understand why Luvu gave up?

Always loved Coach Silas. A Hornets/Bobcats legend. He was a legend here long befote he came back foe the Bobcats, and his legacy was already cemented, but I'll never forget the time he whooped Tyrus Thomas' ass and shoved him in the locker.

Damn. McAdoo has to go as soon as the season is over. No doubt, McVay is one of the greatest coaching minds in the league, but regardless, he illustrated two things tonight: 1) the valley between great coaches like McVay, and poo coaches like Rhule/McAdoo and 2) the stench that many of us referred to that developed with Rhule and his tenure here. I said countless times, the longer he stayed, the harder it would be to get it off our franchise, our locker room, and our players. Wilks has pulled us in the right direction and has gained some traction, but there is still a long way to go. This locker room was poisoned for 2.5 years to an unimaginable degree... The Rams with Baker tonight showed just how much. Baker looked like a guy who shouldn't even be in the league while here. I and many others kept saying, in disbelief, that he just never looked this bad at any point before - and he wasn't this bad. His play was literally a product of Rhule and his culture. And again, in typical Panthers fashion, our team continues to perpetually embarrass themselves in historic ways... a guy we demoted to third string because he looked like the worst QB to take a snap in a decade here, we release, he signs with a team, come in on their second possession, and slings it all over the yard like the #1 pick he was drafted to be and ehat many of us thought he COULD be here... and he wins off two days preparation with a new team after we told the league he was done because we didn't know what to do with him. He couldn't even get passes beyond the LOS here. He couldn't complete passes when he did. He couldn't find receivers, he looked uncomfortable the entire time, and he just couldn't get right. He looked nothing like he did at any average to good point in his career prior to coming here... in fact, again, he looked DONE. Completely inept. Nothing like a guy who was ever taken 255th overall, let alone a guy taken #1. Tonight, he looked like everything we hoped he would here, but our culture rendered him incapable, as it has so many other players. This is awesome to see for Baker, but damn this is both eye-opening to how bad off we actually are and humiliating. Yall can say what you want about the Radiers, and no doubt, I think McDaniels is a fuging tool, but they're still an NFL team, and what Baker did tonight is unfathomable with an offense he's never ran, with guys he's never played with, and he looked like what so many of us projected he would be here (with competent coaching). Again, at the very least, McAdoo has to go. Seeing Baker playing free illustrated just how badly McAddo hamstrings any and everyone here on the staff (outside of Wilks).

Brian Burns has never had a double digit sack season
Proudiddy replied to Growl's topic in Carolina Panthers
And I'll be the first to admit that, and have stated the exact same thing repeatedly, irrespective of Burns. But, you still don't cut your nose off to spite your face. Yes, we need a QB, buy the goal is to hold on to as many of the young core players we have and find the QB in the process. And again, with the atronomical bust rate, especially for QBs specifically, it really doesn't matter if you stockpile 20 picks and use every one of them on a QB. Because if you take 1 in the first and they suck, you likely just cost the HC and GM their job anyway and the next regime has to come in and give it a swing, which likely sets you back another 3 years, regardless of the number of picks you have. The key is hitting on one, and you don't have to have a million picks for that. -

Brian Burns has never had a double digit sack season
Proudiddy replied to Growl's topic in Carolina Panthers
I always ask people, aside from cap implications, name a time these trades works out... QBs, tackles, and pass rushers are the 3 most valuable positions in football, with WRs now pushing for one of those most valuable spots... but as it stands, that's the way it is and has been. And yet, people want to trade away the best one we've had since Pep? How did trading away Mack work out for the Raiders utilizing the same cap-saving strategy? The bust rate on picks is astronomically high, so why trade away a proven asset? -

Are my ears deceiving me, or is that our "home" crowd cheering Foreman being injured? Classy Broncos fans I tell ya. I seriously hope their franchise sucks until this world ceases to exist. I despise them, their team, their counterfeit superbowl win and forever will.
