Maybe some early campaigning and excuse making for Arch from Peyton. Because on the flip side, the argument has to be made, either a guy has it, or they don’t. Even with turnover and bad coaching, you see enough flashes of greatness that you know “this guy is going to be good.” Bryce doesn’t have that.

Rozeboom may be the worst starting MLB I ever recall us fielding. I know the sample size is small but damn… instincts are poo, fundamentals are poo, he really just out there taking up real estate.

The defense doesn’t even matter, really. When we are down 3 scores before anyone has taken their first sip of Gatorade because the offense won’t stay in the field, what does any of it matter?

I wish Zod would return just so he can auto-replace Bryce Young with Mr. Limited like he did The Golden Calf of Bristol.

And the crazy thing is, there have been guys that have done it at his size. Flutie and Russ are the first that come to mind. He just doesn’t have the physical ability to PASS the fuging ball where it needs to go, nor the ability to escape pressure on any meaningful snaps.

I feel like with Bryce, our defense is always guaranteed to give up 25 minimum. It’s built-in.

If I was him, it’s the perfect year to come out for that reason. I know Vandy won and he got injured in that game, but I’ve been seeing chatter about Pavia as a top QB too, and although they won, he doesn’t look like a franchise QB. Arch, for whatever the reason he looks so bad, he just isn’t a franchise QB either. All the other guys that come to mind who are RS Soph or Juniors, to me, are not appealing. Sellers likely is the most physically gifted QB were he to come out this year. They even opened the game with the graphic about him being a potential #1 overall pick. He’s already got the hype. If the other guys stay in school, it just drives his stock up higher.

Anytime I hear “biceps” injury on a lineman, I go ahead and assume they’re done for the year.

Honestly, we’re at a place now if we fired him, who is gonna come here that’s an upgrade? Nobody. hes not getting fired even though he clearly looks unprepared, but he’s gotta be damn close to losing the locker room.

Like I said early in the game thread, these games are over before they even start for us because we’re climbing out of a hole Bryce made, and he makes everyone else out there look shitty. I think they said during the broadcast that we don’t know what we have because there’s so much dysfunction, and they’re right. And it’s because of Bryce, and I’ll give a slight amount of blame to the coaching/playcalling. But because Bryce is limited in size and physical ability, they either can’t call certain things, or when they do, he usually can’t do it - at least not consistently. As a result, receivers get put in tough spots to catch, are thrown hospital balls. We also can’t get it to the receivers that need it consistently because Bryce can’t see them. RBs can’t get going because we usually go down early and can’t afford to run much, AND the defense stack the box and shoot the gaps aggressively because they have zero fear of Bryce as a passer. OL gives up pressures because they don’t know where tf Bryce is half the time because he bails early, in part because he is uncomfortable and his vision is limited in the pocket. It’s a domino effect that all starts and ends with Bryce. Tough to evaluate what we have and what we can do when Bryce makes everyone and everything around him look and play worse. as I was watching Bryce run a dump off fest for 5 yard hooks to JT for the larger part of 3 quarters, I kept thinking - if we had a QB who could push the ball downfield, imagine how JT could be used. A big, athletic TE, just running free down the seams. But nope, come play for the Panthers and their QB who is built like a preschooler, with the arm to boot, so you too can run 5 yard hooks routes once the game is 27-3 because said QB turns the ball over a minimum of twice a game.

Yeah, it’s unfortunate we have to once the fuging superprocessor gets his first two or three turnovers out of his system and spots our opponent 14+ points every week.

Welp, see the difference in that final possession? When something was on the line and it mattered, and the opponent actually played real defense, Bryce folds like a cheap lawn chair.
