  1. Idk why, I thought I read somewhere that he had a really high hit rate a few years back... but, admittedly I haven't kept up with it as much recently.
  2. Very good points. That being said, hasn't Kiper's final mocks been pretty accurate over the years?
  3. Again, the thing that kind of bothers me about this is, I 100% believe in Rhule's ability to develop talent and get the most out of his team. He showed it this season... at every position BUT QB. And that's what scares me. Because he had a say in that decision, and he co-signed handing Teddy the keys and leaving him at the wheel. I really hope he's not blind to the fact that you need some kind of talent at QB and that it can't be cultivated to chicken salad from chicken poo like the other positions on the roster... Teddy should've been enough to show him that. I really hope this projection and increasingly hot connection is a smokescreen and playing off the rumors from the senior bowl and recruiting interest.
  4. Yet, he has Lance going to the Pats at 9. If he has some feel for what we like, and Rhule legit likes Mac over Lance, I will have some serious questions.
  5. Man, idgaf what anyone says... dude should not even be considered in the first 3 rounds, imo. Definitely not the first, at all. I just don't get it.
  6. Anybody ready to meet up and go out Heaven's Gate Style?
  7. I'd imagine teams are waiting for the first shoe to drop, domino to fall, etc., for us, Bridgewater is clearly available, but we can't move him until we know whether we need him or not to acquire the guy we want.
  8. And see... kid did all that talking, then clammed up when Cam put the spotlight on him like he wanted. And look, kid's team went 1-2 and he ain't even playing, just as I expected. But, best of luck with your TikTok, kid.
  9. Yeah, kid is just clout chasing. Physically Cam could snap him in half, and in regards to accomplishments, Cam is one of few people in the history of football EVER, who have won a national championship, won a Heisman, won an NFL MVP, and led their team to a Super Bowl. That is GOAT-level accomplishments among a demographic that is already only comprised of the top 1% or so of athletes in the world. So, how stupid do you look, a HS kid at a 7 on 7 tournament clowning THAT guy who has accomplished all of that AND is selflessly dedicating his time and resources to bettering others at said event? For what? So you can get a few likes and follows on your way to your scholarship to a lower tier D-1 school (if you're lucky) where your football career will then end when you graduate before starting your career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. As the great philosopher Kendrick Lamar once said, "be humble." fuging slapdick kids, man... Cam was much more gracious and considerate of the kid's feelings than I would have been if I was in his shoes.
  10. Yeah, a lot of the overreaction was due to how the team had historically been ran and a legacy of bad moves before Kupchack got here. I always liked Terry, and told many of my friends I would like to sign him from Boston after he had that huge playoff run, but I definitely didnt want him at the price we signed him at the time. I acknowledge when I'm wrong. He is definitely worth what he's getting paid and then some. To me, Terry, Miles, and Melo are my core moving forward. I've said it elsewhere, but Terry is like a slightly shorter, much better shooting DWade. He is an absolute dog.
  11. Via PanthersInsider on IG. Also, not sure his account was always private (I don't believe it was), but it is now.
  12. NGL, if we go into next season with Bridgewater as our starting QB, I can guarantee you it will be the least engaged I have ever been as a fan of our team. I definitely will not set aside every Sunday for our games knowing it will just piss me off to no end because of ONE PLAYER. I have a feeling I'm not alone in that, so if we don't get Watson or Russ, they better hope we land Fields or Lance. I'm taking the same approach if we draft Mac's fat ass too. I've had enough mediocrity between Rivera and Bridgewater over the last 10 years.
  13. Saying he was "just so bad," was admittedly cheap on words, but the reasons you offer are what I was referring to with "bad," I just have expounded on it so much I am tired of talking about it lol. But yeah, I agree for the most part... I will say that despite watching him since college, his arm strength actually appeared worse than what I remembered it being prior to the injury. That being said, I agree that his biggest issue is his disposition despite his physical limitations, and that's what makes it so hard to digest watching it live.
  14. As I told to some of my non-Panther-fan friends, we've had a LOT of bad QBs throughout our history, but Teddy was by far the most frustrating one I had ever remembered watching. He was just so bad... And no doubt, I'm sure despite the personal relationship, Brady regrets putting his name behind him because this offense would've put up video game-like numbers had we had a QB who could actually improvise AND hit the deep throws that were available all season long.
  15. Even back when the league was run heavy, look at how many teams won whose RB ate one of the top 3 salaries of their cap space... For as long as I can remember the teams that win it have a budget back and/or run by committee. I love CMC, and yes, he is more than just a RB, but he is primarily a RB, and that cannot be the player you build an offense around, period. Teddy had 3 receivers eclipse 1k total yards this year, and that still wasn't enough for our offense to win, because those players had to do it themselves. 9 times out of 10, if your best player on offense isn't your QB, you're not going to win a Superbowl. Period. So, if it takes CMC to get Watson, so be it.
  16. I wonder if we're committing to this option this early, if this has any bearing on Samuel's situation?
  17. While you may be right, I have to add a caveat... Teddy kind of deserves it based off of his resume and performance last year. Cam, if I'm a player, is the one that bothers me, because he should've gotten to play out that last year on his contract here at the very least considering his history, experience, resume, and stature within Panthers' history.
  18. Posted awhile back about trading for/signing him... I hope Fitterer can work some magic at a good price. Would be the perfect vet to come in and mentor the young guys and still produce at s high level, but I'm sure he's gonna be signing with Pittsburgh.
  19. Yeah, as far as the big two, Zack pretty much told us this would be how it went down. Sucks to lose Samuel because I really feel like he is coming into his own and may really fully blossom at his next stop. I'm still holding onto hope that we may be able to still sign him back, but I know the odds are slim.
