  1. Refs on 100 today. Gave the Cowgirls 6 points instead of Chinn's FF Then, Face mask on us but no PI on that DB pushing Robby out of bounds????
  2. Brady, Darnold, and DJ are fuging killing it. Great drive! Now defense step tf up and put Dak on his back.
  3. Welp, we are getting absolutely bullied in the trenches so far. Not lookin good. Haven't seen the DL get gaped like this so far all season. And that drive also got momentum because of our absolutely shitty tackling so far. Whiffed on a sack and on Dak's scramble. Can't keep playing like this and win. Ladies and gentlemen, we just got punched in the mouth and trail for the first time this season.
  4. Paradis sucks. Gregory weighs like 220 and he just straight up bullrushed him.
  5. I expect we're gonna have to overcome the officials again today too. One of the NFL's golden children has a lot to prove with a lot of people watching, and they love using us as their whipping boys... F them. Let's go whoop some Cowgirls ass!
  6. Was hoping YGM would make it. But, CJ IS ACTIVE!!! I expect he'll be out there a lot on man to man bc the task is fairly straightforward and he's great at it. Big debut!
  7. I agree. I've liked Dak since college. Good player and good dude off the field. But I am willing him to get pummeled today. We know he's good, but I don't feel our pass rush/defense is getting enough praise nationally. Time to put them on notice.
  8. That long awkward pause followed by "come on and hang out with us."
  9. I still believe both Deshaun Foster and Biakabutuka had HOF potential had it not been for their injuries. Foster's first touch ever in the NFL was like a 60+ yard TD in preseason, iirc. But then he tore up his cartilage and was never the same... he lost quite a bit of explosion but was still a good power runner for a few years. Biakabutuka had special power and speed... just sad things went the way they did with both of their football careers here... I was so hyped on both of them. Now to the point of Chubba, he will be good at minimum, and I have a feeling he has a chance to be really special if he hits his full potential, and we could see that starting this week. He's got a chance to show the world what he capable of on a huge stage this week... he has the ability, as he showed in college at various points. And once he got settled in last week, he looked the part. I think he's got great contact balance, runs with a low center of gravity, and his one-cut and go ability is elite... he just has to get his feet under him and get in the flow early.
  10. Lol, ngl, from watching listening over the last few days to some of ESPN's programming, they are drinking the Cowboys kool-aid heavy... and I mean heavy. I'm not mad, them and every Cowgirls lover fan in the country have been waiting and trying to will those sorry MFers back to their glory days for 26 years now. I guess with it being one of the more marketable teams/brands, it makes since to push them, but IDGAF. We will earn our respect win or lose come Sunday, and I plan on it being a win. And then they'll ignore us for another week after that, too. FWIW, though, Keyshawn did pick us to win our division this week.
  11. Looked solid until I got to the hits and hurries. Yikes. Dare I say, Sam is making them look better than they are?
  12. Yeah, he has spanked a ton of them this year. He's got to turn it around quick or I suspect we will have a new punter in here rather quickly.
  13. I remember it was said multiple times during the Rivera era that other teams had said we pretty much did exactly what we did week in and week out without adjusting or changing much at all, and just expected the game to come down to our out-executing our opponent. And in addition to rigged officiating, that's probably the next biggest reason we lost the Superbowl. A very archaic philosophy if you ask me, but that had pretty much who we've been throughout our history.
  14. Wow. Did not expect Moton to be that low.
  15. Hurts has been horrible this game. And I'll tell you this, it doesn't matter who he is coaching, I can tell by their style of play and I absolutely hate him for that style - Dan Quinn. Dude is an asshole, and his teams play like assholes. Aside from that, Diggs is extremely impressive. Parsons too. Their defense looks fast and athletic. I have always liked Dak, but I'm just not all that impressed with their offense. But all in all, I definitely think next week is a huge challenge. Their defense versus our OL is my biggest concern right now.
  16. Oh okay... yeah, I don't want to play armchair psychologist, but it's tough to tell nowadays with social media, whether someone is sharing such things (or liking it in this case) because there is motivation behind it, or if it's simply signaling there is an issue that they are trying to draw attention to. There is also people that just like drawing attention to those sort of things, simply because it sounds edgy and mysterious. Full disclosure, as someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression for most of my life, I certainly empathize with anyone who deals with any mental health issue. But, I don't necessarily think that's a red flag so much as shooting off a flare to draw attention to an issue. To me, it should be taken into account with the highest degree of concern and care, but it just as easily could simply be linked back to him wanting to get away from the environment he's in. If you're constantly dealing with people that want something from you and feel like no one really has your best interest at heart, or even care about you, I don't think it's too hard to find yourself liking and tweeting such things. But for me, I know I sound like a broken record, but knowing Rhule and Fitt believe in him, and that we apparently treat our guys like this is a family environment here, I'm really confident he'll feel and be much better now.
  17. Yeah, but that doesn't change much, imo. I know you're technically not "looking a man in the eye" in-person, but you still can get a good feel on the person. And the background checks they do on these guys is probably about as thorough as you can get. Every year we hear about guys who have personality, behavior, mental issues, or even something as small as the people they hang around with causing problems. They find any and everything that could potentially be a detriment to them playing high-level football. For some reason, when reading about him, I keep thinking about Dalvin Cook. Remember how he was flagged by teams, from what I recall, for the people he hung around and off-field/character concerns. It seems getting away from Florida was a game-changer for him. I saw he even went back to FSU since being a pro and finished his degree and graduated. No problems off the field, even earned an extension, and is one of the best backs in the league when healthy. And one thing we know about Rhule, is one of the tenets of his program is he wants "football players" and "guys that love to play the game." I'm just confident he wouldn't bring this guy in if he thought that wasn't the case. He hasn't brought anyone in that didn't fit that description before, so I'm confident this move will pan out with the change of scenery. I'd imagine if you're constantly fighting off hanger-ons for wanting your money and time and desperately want to escape that environment, I'd imagine I would be pretty closed off too. And if you're one and only goal is to gtfo of that environment, I wouldn't be trying to establish any relationships either if i'm planning to leave as soon as possible. I will say, the tweets and such people were saying were "suicidal" from last summer, unless he deleted some, from what I saw seemed pretty benign. A lot of inspirational quotes and "me against the world" type quotes. Didnt seem worrisome compared to what most people share on social media. I will say this though, for someone of his celebrity and age, he is not very active at all on social media... last IG post was Sept. 10th and Twitter was from last year, IIRC. But again, that could be from trying to share as little as possible because of the environment and people that were around him. I trust Rhule and Fitt.
  18. Seattle did pretty well with their favorite child.
  19. The amount of work front offices and coaches do on these guys before the draft would definitely vet out any red flags, so the fact that both Fitt and Rhule were trying to make this happen should be all the confidence one needs.
  20. 2nd rounder and a 3rd for a future Armanti Edwards.
  21. Also, regarding this whole report, including Donte's contract.
