  1. Don't worry, once the video loaded, Darnold's brain didn't. I feel dumber for watching it.
  2. Yup, I have seen more of those plays, so I have dialed back my rage for Brady a bit, but then it just returns when I realize that the dumbass they have pulling the trigger thats missing all these wide open throws and can't run a lick of offense is a guy they traded a 2nd round pick and vouched for, kept out of preseason games, and tried to sell us on him being a rookie starting all over again. fug all of them.
  3. We are veering dangerously close into the Lions lane of fandom, and I fear we won't get out of it once we're there, for quite awhile.
  4. Also, in hindsight, not saying JR didn't deserve it, because he did... but, looking back, even his forced sale seemed like the NFL overstepping their boundaries. Look at the personal controversies Jerry Jones, Irsay, and Kraft have had and now the mess with Snyder and the WFT, yet, we're the only ones the NFL stepped in and made the owner sell? Why is that? And it just so happened Tepper was and had been rumored to have been waiting in the wings to buy the team and the NFL just matched him up. Again, JR apparently was a creep and that is unacceptable, but what was going on within Washington is like 100 times what JR had going on here, and yet, the NFL is, just like with Kraft and the Pats, doing everything in their power to cover up for them and shield them from what they allowed to happen here. And now we just got some rich guy with no ties to the community or area who doesn't give a fug about us or the team, really. If there is a problem, he just throws money at it, but lacks the heart and spirit required to make a real difference. And his solution was to jettison the biggest impact player in franchise history so he could "put his stamp" on the team, and then went and hired a fuging used car salesman and his team of college dweebs to turn things in the right direction. And again, this isn't saying JR was a solution to our problems, as he struggled to build a winning team in his 20 years as owner, in large part because of his incessant meddling... just pointing out the differences in how we have been treated by the NFL versus other franchises. It just sucks to be a Panthers fan.
  5. Yup. The way 2015 ended took an awful lot of wind out of my sails. It hurt. Then the 2016 opener and subsequent games, watching as the NFL stood back and allowed Cam to be assaulted and maimed nonstop, that took a lot more. It was hard to watch. Like a bad dream on loop. We finally got an MVP, a gamechanging player at the most important position on the field, a bona-fide superstar, a guy that loved this community and the community and fanbase loved him back, and the NFL and Ron and his staff destroyed him in slow motion, right in front of our eyes. Then Tepper comes in and does all the poo he's done, including getting rid of Cam for two much lesser players to replace him, and then hiring a college coach whose word means absolutely nothing, who didn't bring in any experienced NFL mind to mentor him along the way, who filled the roster up with guys from college he liked, and now he has no fuging idea which way is up and which is down. Dont get me wrong, we were always up and down since our inception as a franchise. Very inconsistent and manic... super highs and super lows, and a couple middling years here and there. But, the last 7 years have been absolutely brutal, and despite the 1-15 and Pickles seasons, dare I say, far worse. These last 3 weeks have been a microcosm of it all, and yeah, I just feel over it. I still love the team, but it's like, "call me when you're ready to get serious," at this point. The only news I've had to look forward to since the Eagles game is hoping someone got fired or hoping we trade for someone, because that's the only way we could be saved at this point, because the answer isn't in the building.
  6. I honestly was surprised he didn't lose playcalling responsibilities after last week. But ultimately, it doesn't matter, if Rhule makes a move on Brady one way or another, he will probably be doing him a favor, because at this point, the ship is inevitably sinking, now it's just a matter of which guys are gonna go down with the ship.
  7. I definitely think Fitterer and the FO in place is the right one. I think ignoring the OL and especially how the QB position has been treated and addressed is all Rhule. He is the final word on personnel after all...
  8. Good. He should go back to where he belongs. He's comfortable there and can treat 200 kids like poo and it doesn't matter.
  9. Season is over and all hope is lost. I expect us to lose every week from now on. I'll be surprised of we dont.
  10. I know La Canfora has questionable credibility, but this is exactly what I see going on from the outside. One day a trade is imminent. The next, ehhh, maybe at the deadline. One day we're the favorite. The next, it's Miami. One day Miami is out and decided they like Tua. The next, they're back in and they're the favorite and we're out. I don't believe any of it until something is done in ink. It's a lot of posturing and maneuvering going on with agents and teams trying to drive up the price and/or will Watson to a specific team. I think we're still in it, but I think this was to call Houston bluff, as I think they were trying to use us to up the bids. I think it's entirely possible Miami hasn't budged on theirs in weeks and Verge even stated we had the better offer... and now Florio is still saying it's not even known if Watson had or had not waived his trade clause for us. So, it seems Houston is scrambling to try to get more than what they've been offered because the market is limited and teams bidding know they have very little leverage, and we are telling them, "Remember you have no leverage. Call us if you come to your senses."
  11. Yeah, I don't get why Florio keeps saying that "for reasons that will become apparent," poo. You're a fuging reporter, quit being coy and report it, asshole.
  12. Not that I am in denial, but I also wondered if the initial report that we're "out" is part of a bigger game of chess. As in, maybe we aren't actually out, but playing a game of leverage... I think the Texans have been putting stuff out to up the bids, and I think this could be a counter to that. I also always found it curious that in every other big deal we have completed, there was absolutely ZERO rumors connecting us to them until they happened. Fitt seems to like to move in silence. So, the fact that we had these reports openly linking us to the deal never sat right with me, as our FO appears to be able to keep stuff pretty close to the vetlst while they're working it... again, it makes me think this is something else. I think the Texans have been pushing a lot of the news out there over the last week to up the ante.
  13. I know, but my point is, if he happens to last until then... because I don't trust him or any of the other guys that were projected as the top QBs of this class in the first round. If another team wants to take that gamble, have at it, but I prefer we didnt.
  14. Yeah, the QB class for this upcoming draft has turned to poo. I might would take a chance on Howell in the 2nd or later, but we definitely need to invest heavily in the OL.
  15. The latest tweets @Mage posted are not saying that. It sounds more like we backed out until his legal stuff is settled.
  16. The latest stuff from those in the know say he didn't choose the Dolphins over us. It's saying we backed out, and I think the implication is, the Dolphins were actively pursuing him and he had already waived his clause for them.
  17. Just another smoking car to throw on top of the mounting carnage of a trainwreck this season has become. If we look dysfunctional now, imagine it leaking out which stars we offered up in the deal. It will make Darnold continuing to play every week after last week's debacle look like nothing.
  18. Of course you would. Bet you thought Derek Anderson was a better QB than Cam, too. and I bet you thought Kyle Allen looked "pretty good."
  19. Oh no, I agree, it's a poo show. But, my point was, no matter what other pieces we have and how good they may be, it's all for naught if you don't have a QB.
  20. I edited for you. You should go look again. Like I said, I've been here and I'll always be here through good and bad. And yeah, you hit a nerve because I'm tired of idiots that don't know any better ruining it for the fans who actually expect better.
  21. Lol, I've been "whining" everytime we lose for 25 years, idiot. And I'm still here, and always will be, through good or bad. And people who don't want anybetter than the crumbs they are given perceive it as whining. I want us to win. You're just happy to be here. But thanks, yeah, I'm a bandwagon fan according to you and your troglodyte bunch, whoever you are, username Panthers12211981.
  22. So we pussed out due to the fake outrage from the fake moral police? This fanbase just never learns. Good job on that poll though! Enjoy Darnold and another year or ten of mediocrity!
  23. NGL, I think my interest in watching the rest of this season just completely flamed out with this news. Darnold and Brady fuging suck, and after their showing the last 3 weeks, especially last week, there is absolutely no hope. This blows. Maybe we can get Minshew for a ham sandwich. What is Vinny Testaverde doing now?
