NGL, that benching looks like it made a difference. Credit where it's due. Derrick Brown is flashing a lot early.
-
Henderson was touted as a man to man, lockdown corner... doesn't look like it. He is getting torched by Russell Gage.
-
It's not exaggeration. The offense looked totally different. We hadn't executed screens that clean all year once, let alone twice in the same drive. Eager to see how the plays look after the scripted 15-20.
-
That CJ Henderson trade just doesn't look very promising so far.
-
But that right there is why Cam deserves a 3 year contract extension. He can still throw it, but his ability to create offense as a runner is what still makes him the most unique weapon in the NFL outside of maybe Lamar, and still Cam is a more physical threat. Miami was an aberration and really because Brady had reached nuclear trainwreck levels of playcalling and design.
-
NGL, that may have been the best Ian Thomas has blocked in 3 years.
-
Cammmmmm. Whoooooooooooaa Cammmmmmmmmmm!
-
Ok, that one was kind of ugly lol
-
Look how much cleaner the screens are. Wow.
-
Wow. We'll see how it looks once the scripted plays are over, but this offense already has so much more rhythm with the playcalling.

I'm calling it. Cam gets his first win as a Panthers starter in 11 games today.

Jordan Gross talks arm length (Rhule is full of poo)
Proudiddy replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just came here to post this. Shorter arms also tend to come with more power because of the shorter lever and proximity to the body. But what do we know? -
Woooow. Unbelievable. Way too young. Was a beast and had hoped we would be able to get him the year he came out in the draft. Just so sad... RIP.
-
Also, I had a feeling if his shooting could get back consistent, Oubre may have been the best value in free agency. Welp. He was the best value in free agency.
-
Also, until he rolled his ankle, I was gonna ask, with how Richards is showing, do we even need to play Plumlee when he gets back? My vote is no. Love Richards progression and hope the ankle is good.

Double Ts isn't bad.

Officials should've called that forearm shiver on Drummond before Miles retaliated on the other end. When the refs keeps letting them rough our guys up unchecked, things will get chippy... it just sucks we always get popped for it when they finally decide to step in.
-
Probably just ingratiating himself for when he takes the Virginia job in a few weeks.
-
Yes. Thats it. Yes.

Welp, Jermaine, meet the bench. Bench, Jermaine.

Person: Rhule could be next, but probably not this year
Proudiddy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Person is being generous with his timeline on Rhule. As I said yesterday, my gut feeling is that Rhule will have to either win out or can only lose once in the remaining games to have any chance to keep his job going into next season. Tepper is not JR. He has shown he has no qualms or hesitancy to attempt to fix a mistake once it is identified, costs be damned. He has looked about as miserable as he possibly could every time we have seen him on gamedays this season and we know from Sheena Quick's leaked texts, he has already stepped in and forced moves to be made at QB when Rhule was the one that created the problem to begin with. If this was the past ownership, sure, I think he gets another year. I don't get that feeling with Tepper. Money is nothing to him and if he feels he has made a bad investment, he has no issue cutting his losses. And again, Rhule hasn't shown any tangible signs of improvement as a coach to this point. The fact that his decisions to mostly ignore offense while missing wildly at the most important position on a football team, not once, but twice, negates any improvement the defense has made. And anyone with eyes can see every Sunday, it's not that we're outmatched physically, because talent-wise there are few teams better than us from top to bottom (outside of OL)... we are simply being outcoached. -
Hey Teddy. You're right.
-
Yeah, I'm going 95-5, Rhule is out of here at season's end.
-
TBH, this moves feels a lot like bringing Cam back, in that I suspect it was pushed for by Tepper. I also mention that because I am now of the mind that it's starting to feel like we either have to win out or maybe only lose one for Rhule to keep his job at this point. JMO...
