  1. And tbh, never discount those assholes in NO. I wouldn't be surprised if they catch wind of this and try to take Howell.
  2. I'd rather hear Brown is being shopped. Robby isn't going to net enough to move up to where we need to go. Also, I know I'm in the minority here, but I think he,xll return to his 2020 form with an actual NFL-caliber QB (if we get one) and OC this season.
  3. I haven't been shy about it, Scot. I know you have always loved the big ugliest, and I always appreciated them, I just never liked the idea of using our first rounder on them. I knew it was sometimes necessary, but especially in the infancy years of the huddle, I just preferred to either sign guys or find late round gems and use the first rounders for the big splash/playmaker/sexy picks. I wanted production that was quantitative. But boy oh boy... let me tell you how much my mind has changed since those days. Seeing a generational talent get destroyed and effectively have his career/peak shortened definitely hastened my shifting perspective. We needed a franchise tackle, and if that takes the first pick, you go get them... and we did. Couldn't be happier.
  4. The ability to read a defense and make a decision without pissing down his leg.
  5. Brown can pack his poo and leave... get in the first few picks tonight and get Willis. We won't miss Brown.
  6. Take it from Proudiddy. I hate using first rounders on OL, and I fuging love this pick. I thought there was absolutely no way he fell to us... something finally fell in our favor and we have a franchise tackle for the first time since Gross, with the potential to be the best we have ever had. *SHWWWWWING!*
  7. Might not be true, but I thank him for the idea... Brown for high 2nd rounder, draft Willis, Corral, or Howell.
  8. No way a team takes Darnold straight up for their player without us adding a pick.
  9. Not gonna lie, seeing how he looked at the presser tonight combined with how they've tried to hide him all offseason, its really starting to look that way to me.
  10. I really think Malik could go in this next 3 picks. Minny with two out of the three could use one on a guy to supplant Cousins and Bucs could bring him in as the heir to Brady with a change of pace. If he is still there after them, we should trade back in.
  11. Fitt said as much in his presser after the pick. Said after the corners and pass rushers went off the board, the trade offers died down immediately.
  12. The value is there now. I dont want to have to give up future picks from rounds 1-3, but it would be a homerun if we could trade into the 2nd and pickup Willis, Corral, or Howell. Also, fug Sam Darnold.
  13. He might not be, but we'll see. A dude that big who runs a 40 like a linebacker? When i watched him at UGA, he certainly seemed to get pressure.
  14. I'm not expecting it, but I wouldn't be surprised. They are one of the best run organizations in all of pro sports. Big difference between getting drafted there and developing as a QB versus getting drafted here.
  15. Damn, I just saw the eagles got Davis from Georgia. Wow... those assholes keep some interior rushers.
  16. Damn, his girl is smoking. At least he has that going for him.
  17. Wow. I thought the Pickett to Pitt stuff was just smokescreen. I figured if they had the chance they would take Willis. Welp Steelers, enjoy Mason Rudolph 2.0.
  18. Wow! AJ Brown netted a first AND third????
  19. Agreed, but no doubt, QB has to be addressed regardless of how it plays to fans. It doesn't have to be the draft, but I keep going back to Fitt's "keep trying until you hit" comment. I know that doesn't necessarily mean this year, but just something I keep in mind.
  20. Thanks for your contribution! Also, side mission: shoot the messenger - 100% complete.
  21. He also said they would be completely fine if they walked away with the first two days being Ickey and CJ Henderson - because they view him as our third round pick this year.
