So I wanted to get the real US population number. After visiting a few Government sites I mostly ended up on the Census Bureau and their population clock page. Currently showing ~330,161,644 Is this considered the most accurate source? Census Bureau population clock

Interesting read. Read something similar today about how the immunity works. B-cells (.... plasma cells and antibodies), T-cells, memory "cells" and natural immunity. Wanted to post a short summary but the page reloaded. And now I'm gonna sleep.

Watching it right now actually, checked to see if anyone already posted it. People commenting about masks, should at least see the first 10 minutes... And as always...to be clear.... if I was living in the US I would use a mask because you have no clue about what social distancing mean.
-
What side is that? I think y'all somewhat crazy. I'm from Sweden. Barely anyone here is using a mask and I do not. But we do social distancing. Even more than what's already in our DNA. Videos and news I have seen, you all suck at social distancing. Its enough to look at the rising of deaths and new cases in the states that was not hit initially, to see that what you are doing is not enough. Other countries have gotten this under control and kept the virus limited to some parts of their countries and only low spread in the rest. But not you, new hotspots and unprepared states even 6 months into this. So to this point, have the view of this situation like you do. Mindblowing.

Yes, let the people decide how serious the virus is.
-
Social distancing? No? Not at all? ok...
-
The virus will spread if no appropriate actions are taken. So please provide your source to back this up.

There is a saying Europeans keep using. Only in America.

Part of the explanation must be that the International media has done a bad job describing Swedens approach and how the pandemic has developed over time here. People don't understand that life here is not as normal and that we actually have taken some measures that seems to have been effective. Saw a CBS News thread on Facebook today. And the amount of people defending Sweden and trying to "correct" the article, while of course, add incorrect facts, was mind blowing to see. Imagine how heart warming it was for a leftist leaning liberal as myself to see a few hundred American right wingers campaigning for Sweden. Hahaha...

Good link. I was about to ask for more links to studies.

About the evidence for wearing a mask. Interesting thread by Dr. Lynora Saxinger Here is the study from Norwegian Institute of Public Health Should individuals in the community without respiratory symptoms wear facemasks to reduce the spread of COVID-19? Would I wear a mask if I was living in the US? Yes, of course. But the best solution is always to limit the exposure.

I saw the same thing right after i posted it.. sorry...

Thats Google translate... and barely makes sense. :D Let me make it clear. Teachers needed far less hospital care than the other job occupations that was included in the study.

First I wanted to sit out of this one, but maybe it´s more fun if I add some information and then you all can battle it out by yourself. So Sweden did not close schools like most countries: Pre-school, age 1-6. Not mandatory but EVERYONE have their kids in pre-school School, start age 6-7. Mandatory 9 years Upper secondary school, start age 15-16, goes on for 2-4 years. and almost everyone attend University Pre-school and school was open as normal. Rumor says a third of parents kept their kids home. Upper secondary and University, all classes was held online. Confirmed Covid-19 cases (total for sweden 76001) 0-9 year: 469 10-19 year: 3027 ICU-cases (total 2484) 0-9 year old: 7 10-19 years: 14 I have no number of "regular" hospitalization. Deaths (total 5545): 0-9: 1* 10-19: 0 *Unclear if the young child died because of Covid. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/09f821667ce64bf7be6f9f87457ed9aa How big is the risk for teachers!? Study done by Public Health Agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) Article in Teachers Union Magazine about the study

I assumed private companies, hospitals, would like to make some money on this pandemic and therefore provide with more ICU if the demand was high. But can't argue with your post. Normally I have no faith in the American system to do what's right. So I shouldn't have it this time either. We will see if things get better after 2024.
-
Have there been an increase in ICU units? Can they increase it? In Sweden we had about 526 ICU before the pandemic. During the pandemic it was increased to 1000-1100. Lowest number of free capacity was around 18% (from my memory). ICU in Sweden = always ventilators + personnel to man the unit. Otherwise the patient falls under "hospitalization".

Easy question. These are not official sites. They gather statistic from offical sources, collected by code or people manually adding it. If you want accurate numbers always go to the offical sites. These sites should only be used to get a overview, a general picture of the situation in countries and states.
-
Not outrageous, but neither was it good. There should be a clear definition of what is counted as a Covid death? Link to an offical source? Quote? Is it the same definition in all states? What about excessive death rate in the US? + in different states. Is there a reliable death register? Is there a death cause certificate according to WHO guidelines, ICD-10? Is there a reliable population register? (Not estimates or guessing) Some basic things to be included in the video and some extra stuf.

Maybe the material was just not good enough...

Maybe you dont understand how to debate, but you are supposed to make some arguments for your point. Not link to a random dude on Youtube channel called "An0maly - News Analysis & Hip-hop" Description: "Good energy. Truth-seeker. Change yourself to change the world! Hip-hop Artist. News Analyst. Human being. Stay blessed."
-
That would be San Marino. Or if you want a bigger country, Belgium. But who knows, many have had unexplained excessive deaths so I don't think they have a clue about their real number or a willingness to get it right. UK is second of the bigger countries but who knows if they have started to count all deaths yet..
-
They do that in the northern part of Sweden so it should be ok. Just not as greasy, fat. Should be alright. I think the hard part is the sauce. We don't use gas here, so cannot guide properly about the cooking temperature. Most people give the meat some color, how "browned" depends of preference, with middlehigh temp and then make it "well done?" on lower for 5-10 minutes. A tip is to wet your hands before making the balls.
-
Yup. I dont really measure the amount myself, I taste it during the making. The other recipes have similiar numbers and the video although not exact same recipe, is giving a hunch how it could look like. And for the record, I dont have milk in it because of allergy, but everyone else does.

I found this today on Twitter. https://twitter.com/jburnmurdoch/status/1277960112691273728?s=20 Was it Spain that hide their number of deaths? If a person died but it was not reported the same day, they just stopped reporting it to the European statistics. So all delayed deaths, dont show up. Which probalby are the vast majority. (How can I embed a twitter post?)

But some numbers is getting much better.
