PFF grade on throws past first read since 2019
kass replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they grade his throws and exclude his run after first read. It does not. Thats why I want the description. Or did I read it wrong. Is it that he throws 90% aftrr his recond read? -

First thing. I like Fields. I think he shows promise. What does this really show? Could be. First read, no, ok go check down and not going through all the reads. Or even start running. Would be more interesting if it was after second or third read. And what if the QB starts running.. This does not really say anything with context and more statistics. Do they have a more detailed description of what this is suppose to mean? -
I don't believe we'll take a QB on day 2 no matter what

This is from when he was hired. We could at least expect something to happen. -
We've virtually met with at least 2 CBs and 1 WR

Yeah... and I cannot relate that to Div 1 because I do not even have a clue about the competition level at different DI divisions -

So I watched some of his few highlights and also about 10 snaps in that game + his TD. That seems to be his worst game during the 2019 season, so maybe he just had a bad day. 2 rec, 21 yards 1 td. But not impressive in any way. Track star, sure, getting locked up by smaller backs all the time and cannot beat press. But he sure is big, but there are about ~10 other guys just as big as him in the draft. What competition level is this? (I have of course, no clue about different college divisions). -
I tend to agree. Any other needs? Or those are just a second thought right now...

Any consensus here at the Huddle about what the teams biggest needs are?

Haven't seen this game tape yet, will see his highlights tomorrow. But there are a bunch of big bodied WR in this class. So he will have to stand out if he wants to be picked. -

Ok. Now I found this one because you said there was one clip, uploaded 4 days ago -

Were can game tape be found on Mike Strachan? -
Is it? Drafted a few guys last year, they need to step up. Can add a CB later in the draft for more competition. Or take a CB early next year. Building for the future and OT is hard to come by.

Tyler Lockett, also paid. The market is setting!

Which is why a WR in this draft class should be considered a need. We can tag DJ for his fifth year. But Anderson will want more money and if we don't want to put to much money in the position group we can either sign jags or draft a guy. I would prefer a 4-5 rounder but taking someone in the 3rd or 6th would be fine. -
There are talks and proposals of creating "vaccination travel passes." So people who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to travel. Not sure if its only a EU thing or Global initiative. But it's happening.

17 Game Season on the way!!! What y’all think?
kass replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wanted a rule change, that only teams at or above . 500 should be eligible for the playoffs. Goodbye to that suggestion. -
Going after Watson this season after the draft? Or waiting until next year.. or... Because there is no way the team should sit and wait a year for possibly, maybe, hopefully we can get a QB we like next year. At least I am not in that camp. I like Minshew as a swing and miss, have written it twice on this board before. Try fill the position every year. That's my point.
-
Then we agree on most part. But PJ is the same thing as tanking. I rather we try find our guy, even picking a 2/3round QB. Rather swing and miss than wasting a year hoping for the future. Don't put the roster building QB position, on hold.

First take, reading the title. They have been lurking in this forum. But if they think we would be willing to offer that for the 6th pick. I guess there is a new bath salt trend going on in Florida again.

team? what team doing what?

Some WFT fans think Taylor Heinicke is the answer. We also have this category of fans, the PJ Walker fanclub. I think the games would be more fun to watch, but we would still have a losing record. Forever...

Dont worry.. You wont see it. Guy to the right holding something...

That´s the spirit! ... Go USA haha

Yeah, we will see. Maybe I can try reach out to the MCFC owner who handles money that would make Teppers wealth look like pocket change. Y´ll ok with an Arabic owner dressed in a skirtish-clothing-thing if he can deliver success? Right? edit: problem, i think he likes to train Falcons as a hobby... hey, maybe we can convinc him playing with Panthers are more fun. Take it to the next level...

Despite being here for 4+ years, I still cant grasp this american cultural fetish and obsession about the owner of a team. Oh, he owns the team. He is not godlike person that will come and save us all. The expectation is unreal... And just as a reference, my other football team is Manchester City. Whom got an super rich owner that took the club to the next level... So i have already experienced what some of you are desperately seeking... A successful ownership change. What did the City owner do? Hands off. Let the football people do their work. (One of the front office management person at MCFC was actually hired by Tepper. Tom Glick)
