That was always the case when picking at 8 with this roster. There are a bunch of interesting QB prospects in this class. You try one and then you try another next year if you dont get it right. And we could still trade for Jets or maybe even Falcons pick if we trade the farm, our future and our dignity... not over yet.

Come on... having a bad day or what? Some of these first round QBs will be bust and some other in the second or third round could end up being starter material. The GM have said, first interview i think, you take a QB every draft.... So a QB in the second or third round would bring some excitement or interesting story to follow this season... And can we get a top prospect at LT. That position might be solved for the future... So no reason to "give up" and dream about what can happen in 2022.

So my take is, that you only move up like this if you love multiple QBs. Picking at nr 3 dont guarantee anything if you only like 1 or 2 players. So they must feel comfortable with 3 of them. Otherwise it is a very risky move. But hey, what do i know...

I like it but then I am used to city name + sport + club or some variation of it. During the 90s it was popular for teams to change their names over here. Influenced by das America and added silly names that had nothing to do with the club or city... Addition was always English words BTW.

Not sure about 3rd biggest need but it is a need. We do not know how much Anderson will demand for 2022+. But DJ Moore 5th year option would be 11+ for 2022 and franchise tag in 2023 would be 17+ million. In the 2020 draft there were a bunch of wr in the middle and late rounds that showed promise and could breakout this season. So I would be willing to use 2 picks on that position if the right players are available. Either 4-5 round pick and one of the 6 picks. Most likely. But until you have your QB you have to keep trying, right? I would consider Gardner as mine swing and miss option and have a low cap hit. How would you proceed if the team do not get Watson or any of the top QBs in the draft? Would be interesting to hear. (Trubisky?)

Well just to clarify, I would never offer that for Gardner. I just quoted the other poster and wanted a clarification if that was what he/she was ready to give up. If there are no other options, would you not give him a try? Or why is he out of the question. I assume Teddy is out even if we do not land Watson or one of the top QBs in the draft.

Had to look up what double pane meant, before i post and made myself a fool but i guessed right.. In Sweden Triple pane have been standard pretty much since the 80s. But I guess our climate is a bit different. But it still amazes me how hard this cold hit Texas. Glad it worked out ok for you.

Hopefully he did preventive training during his off year so he won't be as injury prone as in college and his rookie year. Seemed to have some natural talent but only showed some vague flashes. He have a lot to prove at this level but I think he can be a positive "addition".
