  1. It’s literally the only advantage he has. You can’t overpay for players, but you can overpay for experts. Get some f’ing experts and PAY them.
  2. David Tepper could buy Mark Cuban, Dan Snyder, and Robert Kraft. COMBINED. He's worth over $20B and it keeps going up every day. He’s a billionaire to billionaires, insane. He’s literally approaching Musk/Bezos space so I say spend it on our front office and coaching staff, let’s go…
  3. Over $20 Billion now. He’s currently the 90th richest person in THE WORLD. We’ve all been to PARTIES with 90 people and weren’t the richest in the ROOM.
  4. Well he gave Reich a huge deal too, and is still on the hook for that one for $12M the next three years.
  5. Also remember that Frank Reich will still be earning $12 million per year in ‘24, ‘25, and ‘26. Fired football coach is the best job on Earth.
  6. The opposite of a “Game Manager” is a “Gunslinger”. Prime Brett Favre or prime Kirk Cousins?
  7. This board scoffs at Mike Tomlin, Bill Belichick, and Jim Harbaugh as Head Coach candidates but wants Cam to be Team President.
  8. Mike Tomlin has won at least 9 games in 13 of his 16 years, and the other three years were 8-8. The Carolina Panthers have won 9 games seven times in 29 years of existence. With multiple 1, 2, 4 win seasons. Some of y’all cray. We would be insanely fortunate to even sniff some of these coaches being rumored right now.
  9. Let’s add Pete Carroll to the list of candidates that are far too accomplished and washed up to coach this glorious franchise.
  10. We dump Snooki and then turn our nose at Gisele because she’s “past her prime”. I love this forum.
  11. Come on, we are the Panthers. It’s the greatest coaching opportunity of all-time. We can’t lower our standards for the GOAT coach or other future Hall of Famers. Our next hire has to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Matt Rhule, Frank Reich, and Chris Tabor. It’s clearly prime Vince Lombardi or bust.
  12. Mike Tomlin on the hot seat, Panthers and Commanders interested
  13. Nothing makes sense anymore, I want Chris Tabor as HC for the Patriots or Commanders next year.
  14. Our hotshot OC Brown and hotshot DC Evero got bypassed for Interim HC for a Special Teams coach. I feel like that means something and possibly burned some bridges.
  15. I just wish our coaches understood this. Any time we outscore our opponent we have a pretty good chance.
  16. Baker Mayfield threw 4TD’s today at the Packers and Joe Flacco had 374 yards and 2TD’s lol.
  17. I’ve said it before…if you get fired at McDonald’s they’ll never touch you again. But in Carolina, come back on down! Marty Hurney Steve Clifford Might as well bring Hurney back a THIRD time and give Ron another shot as well. It’s like dumping your girlfriend and then begging for her to come back 4 years later after she gets dumped again by her new boyfriend. #Pathetic
  18. We were sold and bought an Intel Core i9 processor...but instead an AMD Bulldozer was delivered.
  19. The Heat were a shot away from the NBA Finals in 2022 and made the NBA Finals in 2023. Let's keep some perspective. That franchise is elite. (That said, I really like this young Hornets roster; if we can do something with our two huge expiring contracts things could look great for the future) Also, hate him or like him but Bridges has become NEXT LEVEL on the basketball court. With Bridges, LaMelo, Miller, PJ, and Mark...this is a team to look out for, IMO.
  20. I find this entertaining. Sports Illustrated ranked the top Head Coaching candidates right now, and above all of the big names (Harbaugh, Urban Myer, Belichick, whoever..) there are TWO LOCKS. And one is our own Defensive Coordinator, but he didn't even get the Interim HC position over our Special Teams Coordinator. Man, this just screams of dysfunction. Top NFL Head Coaching Candidates for 2024 and Well Beyond Locks: Ben Johnson, offensive coordinator, Lions .... Ejiro Evero, defensive coordinator, Panthers “Ejiro is a star, man. A bona fide future head coach,” an NFC coach says. “Impressive” was the first word that came on another text about Evero, whose body of work last year as the defensive coordinator with the Broncos is worth a deep dive. Denver allowed 20 or fewer points in nine games last season, but the way in which he manipulated and transformed his personnel to attack opponents on a week-to-week basis was epic. Evero has an elite coaching apprenticeship résumé, having worked under Jim Harbaugh, Mike McCarthy, Sean McVay and now Frank Reich. His quiet confidence is a respect generator. Evero was among the most sought-after defensive coordinators on the market after a series of head coaching interviews last year with the Colts and Panthers, among other teams.
  21. DT Jalen Carter (#9 overall 2022) RB Christian McCaffery (#8 overall 2017) QB Caleb Williams (#1 overall 2024) WR DJ Moore (#24 overall 2018) -for- Bryce Young, Jonathan Mingo, DJ Johnson, Chandler Zavala Great work front office! (That proposal wouldn’t even go through in a middle school fantasy football league)
  22. Since new ownership 5 years ago: GM: Marty Hurney, (Scott Fitterer?) HC: Ron Rivera, Matt Rhule, Steve Wilks, Frank Reich, (Chris Tabor?) OC: Norv Turner, Joe Brady, Ben McAdoo, (Thomas Brown?) Consistency at its finest.
  23. This is what I’m curious about. HC (offensive-minded) coach gets fired, sure. RB coach / assistant head coach gets fired at the same time. Hmm. QB Coach also gets fired at the same time. Wha? Jim Caldwell (who interviewed and missed out on the HC position to Reich but accepted Sr Assistant to the HC)…is then promoted to Special Advisor. ? Then there’s the chatter about coaches texting the owner behind peoples backs. Who was doing the texting and about what?
