Holy wow did I get my wish. Down 6 to up 7 in just a few minutes! With Miles and Terry tearing it up! 91-84 good guys in the fourth. Lets Go! Finish this one!
-
2 possession game with 2 mins left in the 3rd. And that’s with Harden and PG13 red-hot from 3. Time for Miles, Rozier, or Gordon to step up and take over. Our second tier players have been our best players so far. Lets Go!
-
Oh man, Mensah just had a helluva trip down the court. Big boy pin on the backboard against their big…then immediately takes a hard charge from Harden. Didn’t even know who he was until now, but those were some good minutes off the bench.
-
Yeah getting Cody Martin back is big. Ish Smith is playing well. Gordon needs to give us something this game. Miles Bridges vs Paul George is a great matchup. (You know B-Mil would have really wanted that matchup so he must really be in pain). Sure would be nice to play full-strength at some point.
-
Brandon Miller and Mark are both out. Looks like we’re rolling with Miles, Terry, Gordon, Richards, McGowan, Cody Martin, and PJ. Playing pretty well with 6mins left in the 1st quarter
-
Hornets vs Clippers at 10:30 tonight. Kawhi is thankfully not playing. But we will be playing once again without Melo. Mark is listed as questionable so maybe there’s a chance? And what’s really crappy is Miller is also listed as questionable. Hopefully both will play and we can steal an away game. They’re on a 2-game slide. Oh and I forgot the best part…it’s on NBA TV so I can actually watch a Hornets game here in the DMV! Let’s Go! The Charlotte Hornets have six players listed on their injury report: LaMelo Ball, Amari Bailey, Leaky Black, Brandon Miller, Frank Ntilikina, and Mark Williams. LaMelo Ball is out due to a right ankle sprain, Amari Bailey is out due to a G League two-way, Leaky Black is out due to a G League two-way, Brandon Miller is questionable with a right ankle sprain, Frank Ntilikina is out with a left tibia non-displaced fracture, and Mark Williams is doubtful with a lower back contusion.

Bryce made 2 separate plays on ESPN’s Top-10 plays today.

I agree that this was a good moral victory. All we can hope for at this point. Bryce and others played well. But man, BofA looks BAD on TV with turf. Grass or dome, Tep.
-
And hopefully an NFL Strength Training Program. I honestly am curious what Alabama did with him, Jalen Hurts and some of those Bama QB’s were weight room warriors.

Tepper being “incredibly accountable” behind the scenes
HardcoreHokie replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Trying for consecutive winning GAMES today. That would be a new thing. -

We just won our last game. (Ducking) -
I still find it comical that Jerry Jones is the: Owner General Manager President of Football Operations …of the Dallas Cowboys. And then his three kids have multiple Executive positions with the team. Steven Jones is COO, Executive VP, and Director of Pro Personnel. Huh? How do they all have three positions? His other two kids are VP’s with other executive titles as well. Talk about meddling. Let’s not do this.

I completely agree that Tepper’s only advantages right now are his checkbook and his (few) trusted NFL contacts. If you can throw money at the problem, hire a PROVEN TRUSTED EXPERT and stay away. The Steelers front office seems to be just that. That’s what I’d do if I owned this NFL franchise and 21 billion dollars.
-
It’s currently an impossible situation but I also think you throw money at Colbert. Tepper has that relationship and the money, not much else right now.
-
I feel ya. I grew up in the DMV in a Redskins family, then moved to Charlotte, and then back. It’s scary how similar the two franchises are, but not in a good way (also weirdly, the Bills). They need to stop looking at each other and model themselves after better franchises.
-
Where do you live? I’m in the DMV now. Redskins fans haven’t had a PULSE in 20 years, they at least have some hope right now. Hell, they haven’t even embraced their NAME yet. And it’s still more optimistic than Panthers-land. I hate saying that but it’s 100% true.
-
There are reasons Bieniemy has never got a HC job and never will (even interim with Washington). Players don’t like playing for him.
-
Commanders fans have not given up on Sam Howell. Washington gave up on their ownership 20 years ago, they actually have some hope right now. (Though Rivera will be gone soon.) Sadly, the Panthers are now about 10 years behind the Washington franchise. Our fanbase is lost.
-
It was obvious he was an up and coming talent in a bad situation. HC on the hot seat, young unproven OC is your first one to go. He’s gonna be good, we should bring him back before someone else wises up. (He won’t come back to this mess)
-
He kept control of Antonio Brown. Something that Bill Belichick, Jon Gruden, Mike Mayock, Bruce Arians, and Tom Brady couldn’t do. Mike Tomlin is one of the greatest ever. I don’t love the Steelers but I’d like to see him retire as a Steeler.
-
I also love that the hot topic for the late game is how the Bills offense is suddenly thriving with Joe Brady at OC. Bills fans are worried a team might poach him this offseason. The list of players and coaches that “suck” at Carolina and then excel elsewhere is nauseating. And I still root for every one of them.
-
“But he only wins 9 games most years.” We’d win the South or Wildcard most years with 9 wins. Ron won it with 7 wins in 2014. In 9 years, Ron won nine games 3 (!) times and a bunch of horrible years mixed in. And that was with Cam Newton.
-
Crazy that the Steelers are about to be 8-7 with a third string QB in a down year. No losing seasons in 15+ years, and the Panthers fanbase would pass on that HOF head coach. (I doubt he’s going anywhere though)

REPORT: Ben Johnson wants $15 million per year
HardcoreHokie replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Okay correction, you’re correct, I looked it up. Tepper is the 3rd richest owner in American Pro sports. Ballmer - Clippers (~ $110B) Walton - Broncos (~ $57B) Tepper - Panthers (~ $21B) Gilbert - Cavaliers (~ $18B) Jerry Jones is a distant (~ $13B) Cuban is ~ $6B I just want a quarter of one. -

The Broncos owners (multiple) are Walmart heirs and Musk no way lost $200B, he’s not even worth that. Just saying, 90th richest person in the world is insane rich. Like Michael Jordan isn’t in the Top-1000.
