I love how some folks use the term “retread” whenever it’s suitable to their interests. Please define the term for me so I’m more clear. Bill Belichick - retread? Jim Harbaugh - retread? Andy Reid was a retread, correct? Pete Carroll? Doug Peterson? Bruce Arians? Mike McCarthy? Bill Parcells? Sean Payton? So basically someone with previous head coaching experience that once got fired is a “retread”? (That’s a lot of Super Bowl champion “retreads” listed above, FYI)

The problem is he influences the whole staff’s opinion and then at that point you have group-think and there’s no turning back.
