  1. 6’6, 265 5’10, 185 Damn we screwed up really bad.
  2. Bryce Young played for Nick Saban at Alabama. Jamarcus Russell played for Nick Saban at LSU. Just saying.
  3. Exactly. If he’s not ready, sit him. The whole idea of “he’s a bust” is short-sighted. If you think he’s legit “our QB” then sit him and make him watch tape and learn. Many have done that before him.
  4. Blaine Gabbert won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs last year and is currently available. Anything would be an upgrade, Just sayin’?
  5. Nobody’s calling Sam Darnold an All-Pro. The point is that the Panthers are the new Browns. Players come here to die. They go elsewhere and they shine. The Browns fixed it, the Texans fixed it, the Redskins fixed it. We need to figure out how to fix it asap.
  6. Meanwhile, Sam Darnold threw a 97 yard BOMB for a TD today (60yds in the air) and beat the 49ers. And he’s 27 years old. We make good decisions.
  7. Frankie Luvu was laying people out left and right for the Commanders today as well.
  8. I would take “struggle” at this point. He’s non-existent. We never had a chance today, everyone knew that.
  9. How many times has Bryce lined up under center (no shotgun) in his NFL career? I would love to see that stat vs total snaps and compared historically to other QB’s. How can you draft a QB that you can’t take a traditional snap from center?
  10. And at 8:30 we get to watch two QB’s we easily could have had - face off against each other. CJ vs Caleb
  11. What is there to think about? There’s not a close 2nd.
  12. Yeah but the INT went for 3 yards too, which would actually increase his 2.2 yard average.
  13. Can he dunk? JKJKJK But for real, Steve Smith is shorter than Bryce and I’ve heard reports of him throwing down MONSTER JAMS, even flat-footed. Dude was such a freak.
  14. He’s an elite processor, basically the AI version of quarterback.
  15. Almost every player that has under-performed with the Panthers has performed or over-performed elsewhere. That tells you where the problem lies.
  16. I’m not sure we could even trade Bryce Young for Andy Dalton, if that was a thing.
  17. It’s not about starting Dalton, it’s about benching an under-performing 23 year old that needs to sit and learn. Jordan Love did it, as have many others.
  18. Serious question: What is the downside to benching Bryce Young? Make him earn it back.
  19. It’s so impossibly hard to understand multi-billionaire micromanagers in pro sports. I would 100% be on that island and receive an update on our season 4x a year via message in a bottle.
  20. I don’t think there is much debate at this point. There are 2nd and 3rd stringers way better than him. Jacoby Brissett and Tyrod Taylor would have flat-out beat him out in training camp. Nevermind a bunch of rookies we could have had. Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold balling today on real teams.
  21. This 100%. If you don’t have the fanbase you likely don’t have the locker room either. Just let Bryce be the backup for a few games and hopefully learn from Dalton. What risk is there at this point?
  22. I want to watch Panthers football and have some hope for the season. Start the proven vet and let Bryce learn from the sidelines. It's not about playing to lose for the #1 pick, we have to evaluate the players that we have. Start Dalton. Pretty likely Bryce will still see the field even as a backup. Sometimes that’s what it takes for things to click.
